To put these families through this horror to keep him from the death penalty is ludicrous! I do know the shooter’s family, I do not know the victims, but I know that the victims’ families don’t deserve this. He did it! He planned it! He’s not insane! I am sorry for his family, but he should not get anything but the death penalty.

He wasn't getting the death penalty because he pleaded guilty.

@@snowfall221he has a very slim chance of avoiding the death penalty. This is decided by the jury and they don’t bargain like trials determined by the judge. What they decide is what the judge has to go along with. That is why this trial is even happening. Bargaining isn’t going to happen just because he plead guilty - he chose to finally do that, he did not make any deals as in some cases.
