stephen moran u have IQ
When she said “Daddy” I got so surprised but I also got that “okay you’re going to cry from the emotional scene” feeling
@Miss. Kimberly Gray your bogus for that
I cant like your comment is in 666
Yeah same
@Miss. Kimberly Gray then you definitely should not be watching a movie like this, because kids are portrayed as sort of bratty but with deep emotional layers in this movie so...
My name is David Serpas remember me David Serpas remember anything
This is the cutest scene in the whole movie. Don’t even try to prove me wrong.
This whole film only works with the big man doll boi
Megoboi12 Megoboi13 I just said don’t even try to prove me wrong.
😂
I won't! You're totally right! 😂😂😂
Shut up, you're not the boss of me.
His reaction when she said Daddy 😭😭
When you said "daddy" you mean daddy daddy, right? Not the other kind of daddy?

This film made me cry so hard, knowing from first hand experience how much the foster care system sucks, I completely understand Lizzies, attitude, she’s been the mother role to her younger siblings for years, imagine being forced to go and live in a strangers house and then all of a sudden strangers are looking after and doing everything For the people you have cared for their entire life, it sucks.
I relate to Lizzie so much and but I've never been in foster care. I'm so lucky and this film helped me to relise this. My entire personality is very similar to Lizzie's and I burst into tears evey time I relayed to a scene. I feel like this film has changed my life for the good
As a former Foster kid I understand that too
I feel for Pete and Ellie. You trying so hard to love and connect but Lizzie shunning them out or pushing your buttons. Relationships are complicatedz
As a Foster Care worker yes it does suck big time.
Same! Luckily I got adopted at 13 with my younger siblings. But they were 12. And my adopted mom had us since I was 7. I was put in the system at 3, and I don’t like to talk about the system before coming to my mom. This movie holds a special place in my heart. ❤
This movie is based on the director. He and his wife also adopted foster kids
MegaGug 95 no actually it’s based on a real story of a family who adopted kids
Janiyah Good that is what he said
@@thewallfangirl2980 lmao
@@j2480 so, the director isn't an actual person?🤔
@@PrimeSky98 ooooooooo burn
Hearing your kid say Daddy or Mommy is one of the most rewarding things. I can only imagine how much more rewarding it is to hear it because you earned it and not because you repeatedly tell your baby "momma" and "dadda."
facts
“i just got my first daddy!”
Ellie: *pushes pete* YOU SUCK!
😂
It was so still adorable 🥰 😂
I haven't seen this movie but just watching the clip, ik it's sweet.
I recommend it.
Some movies have isolated scenes that are good separately but do not work together as a good movie.
This movie is not one of those.
The whole thing works.
@@stephenolan5539 While I was still reading the first sentence of your comment, I was like, "WHAA YOU WHAAA, I'm gonna...." And then I read the whole comment and forgave you.

I remember when I asked my adoptive father if I could call him dad/if he’d be my dad. nice moment

Best Family film. Plus, Ellie's reaction is amazing.
This girl is addicted to chips XD
lol 😂 so true
Realistically speaking she was mostly likely fed nothing but chips and cheap snacks in other foster cares .
P O T A T O C H I P Z
Ik
@@carlosavelar4652 yeah I buy it. Mom was busy blowing all the money on drugs so she could only afford snacks.
Apparently one of the first things I’ve said to my foster parents when I first met them was “now I have lots of mommy’s and daddies” they love bringing up those precious early moments ❤️
“Who am I?”
“Ellie!”
Hahaha
0:45 had me so happy when she said her first word daddy so cute
But the funniest thing was that when the mom said who am I
The girl said Ellie so funny
Love this show
Little girls love their daddy's more then moms lol
I am the youngest of 6 kids, and when I was 18 my parents started fostering. It is still the most emotional roller-coaster ever. The kids in the foster system have to deal with so much, and it is so hard because you want to fix the world for them and can't. Even if you can they don't necessarily want you too, because why would they trust you? Trust is something easy to break and hard to gain. Fostering is hard because even when you fall in love with them and want them to stay and there a a thousand reasons the state or someone else gets them back.
My favorite part of this scene is when Juan is looking for Lizzy and Dad points her out, and he's like "oh yeah, she's right there." He just wanted some orientation and his dad provided that. Underrated part of the scene.
i was surprised when i watched this movie. I didn't expect it to be that good, but it has its moments that will make you cry for sure. This being one of them. I'm not a dad, but hearing that first "Daddy" can be emotional.
This is the cutest scene in the whole movie don’t even try to prove me wrong
Nice copied comment
Juan is the type of person to ask if its okay to do something he wants to do to makes sure he doesnt upset anyone
He is the introverted and empathy type
Why the heck couldn’t I have parents like them!!!
Eh. I’m sure your future kids will say the same about you lol.
ikr they’re so nice :(
I’m sorry.
I CANNOT STOP SAYING THIS SCENE!!! ‘Thanks daddy!’ 🥺
This movie is one of the most wholesome movies I ever seen. It always warms my heart after seeing this
When Juan said wheres Lizzy I laughed because he's just like my brother to watch my plays but not even know I am in it
This is some of the most wholesome, yet funny thing I've ever seen.
I dont get out much.
All I know is when I would visit my buddy after my divorce....I have to say, it hit me in the heart hearing his kids run down the walk saying Hi Daddy. It's a complicated feeling. You're not exactly jealous....but you want that for yourself. But it never happened. I'm 53 now. And pretty much over it. Wouldn't want kids now. But have been considering foster children.
Foster kids are children you dumbass. I don't want kids but i think i might adopt. Thats children dumbass.🤦♂️ thats like saying i don't eat meat than eats a BLT.
Honestly the cutest scene in the movie
I went into this movie thinking it was going to be boring and cliche, but it was darn good. Definitely recommend to anyone who hasn’t seen it.
I saw it a few weeks ago and it made my top 10 favorite movies. My Grandma and I both gave it a 10, and we both laughed and cried throughout. :)
I have one thing to say : ADORABLE
“You told her to make a move on a boy?!” Ha, is he friends with my dad? Cause he would say the EXACT SAME THING XD. he doesn’t even let me wear leggings with wanting to protect his “baby girl”😂... I’m 15 XD
You're still a child so....i get it.
0:36 omg i was laughing so hard when she said someone broke potato chips 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m sure my brother and sister in law reacted the same way when their kids called them mommy and daddy for the first time too. They adopted last year
I think I made a mistake watching this while stoned.
slimj091 makes you cry even more.
Or it does me.
jimmy2k4o Big Facts Yo.
slimj091 Next Time I get High Asf Im watching We Bought A Zoo.

This movie was so wholesome.
This whole movie is so wholesome
This movie is so sweet. Worth a watch. Also Rose Byrne and Mark Wahlberg make a good comedic duo.
I love this movie, it’s so well made and sweet
Theres something very special the first time your child calls you daddy or mommy. Nobody doesnt cry just a little that first time.
This movie is adorable love this film
That little girl got paid $10,000 if not more, just to call that actor daddy
Take notes kids
Dad's everywhere felt that right in the stomach!
I watch so many of these clips that even when I’m not looking, I will know when that little sound plays at the end
Mark Wahlberg has nailed it. Literally..
I loved that guy as a dad
I love this movie 🥺
This movie and modern family give off the same vibe. I wanna both laugh and cry while watching
“to YOU?” i’m sorry but that was so funny 😂
i still love this movie!!
This movie looks cute, i never even heard of it, I’ll have to watch it.
Omg when see said “ Juan broke potato chip😭 “ I was like 🤣🤣🤣
Really different movie to films I usually watch
But absolutely brilliant
I never fostered but my oldest is a step daughter from my second marriage. Yesterday I asked her do you want to meet your real dad? She told me no! I asked her why not? She told me because I have you.. I just wanted to ball my eyes out but I kept it together. It made me realize you just need to be present in your kids lives to give all the love they need!
Every parent
Mother or Father
Wants to be the first to be called
Mommy or Daddy
By there first born child
Or Adopted 🥰
It’s the most heartwarming feeling any parent wants to hear 👂
And that’s a true fact
I was emotional when i saw the first this Film in the Bioscope, bc i'm adopted self. So it's very beautiful film.
“She is totally harmless”
