Man, this was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Time flies cuz I'm 28 now lmaoo
Same
Samel. Had it in Spanish VHS when you had to choose from English or Spanish lol.
im 34 now..... good old times.
From the director and producer of Stranger Things..................
Same! Had this in VHS and I still have it somewhere. This whole movie had me rolling. 🤣
This is actually an underrated movie.
Nothing groundbreaking or anything but better then it had any right to be
It’s a classic
Yeah, and for years I had no clue that it's a retelling of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf."
@@aleaanderson6600 Neither did I. Did you notice the name play they did to. Jake "Shepherd" and Marty "Wolf" like in the story
A genuine nostalgic classic
Marty: Boo 👻
Paul Giamatti said that he had a blast doing this movie, especially the blue dye scene. He said the blue dye stayed on his feet for weeks 😂
So good to see he is the opposite of his character!
I like how the blue dye magically misses his swimming trunks.
Yeah, and his hair, too!
1:44 Marty: Hello 👋 Let’s Dance 💃 Funny 😆 Bones 🦴
@TheRojo387 it only got his Skin
2:20 😂
HOW DID I NEVER NOTICE THIS?!
The new Avatar is looking good!
Haha 😂
😁😂😂😂
Avatar if the producers were broke

Without a doubt the most satisfying karma in movie history considering that this is what Marty Wolf gets for being a smarmy and slimy movie director who showed no remorse in using Jason's school report to make a movie without crediting him. Add to the fact that he suffers through quite a karmic defeat at the hands of Jason and Kaylee makes his humiliation even more iconic and unforgettable.
He was also extremely rude to everyone working under him. I like how they were able to get a taste of that sweet karma.
@@AmethystTheEspeon DARN RIGHT. Marty wolf, was a BIG BULLY... Its SO GOOD to see Get CRUSHED at the End. As People like Him, are messed up. He think's he's SUCH A BIG Shot and he makes Movies every1 Loves so he think's any1 and every1 else is Below/Beneath him. As some people are like this. So Yeah. Marty losing was Great. and Also, He's a Thief. so Also GREAT he lost everything. thinking he has the Right to steal Cause he's BIG In Hollywood. A BAD Villain Getting 1 HECK of a CRUSHING DEFEAT. Love it.
Paul Giamatti is so under rated
Marty screamed so loud the entire city of Los Angeles heard him.
😄
Shouldn't be much of a problem since that headset is SUPER GLUED TO YOUR 👂🏼!!!! Frankie totally nailed that line.
Paul giamatti is such an underrated actor. He can be funny, serious, a jerk, sympathetic. Just such a talented actor.
Fun Fact: On the 2002 DVD release of this film, they included a cheat code for Spyro 2: Season of Flame, that turns Spyro *blue,* as a reference to this iconic film. XD
I remember that lmao
Was it for the PS1 or PS2?
@@BRIANOCONNOR2003 GameBoy Advance.
Marty: Where Are You?
The reason “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” is playing in his car because his car is blue and his skin is blue 🤣
I would’ve never figured that out, nice observation…
Marty: Hello 👋
Makes total sense! 😄
3:43
Makes 100% total sense lol 😅😂
Now THIS MOVIE could be retold in modern Hollywood today. Just imagine all the modern day actors and jokes that we could be having but with the same premise Jaír set for today. Especially with streaming and the way we watch movies and tv!
BUT nobody could replace the brilliance of Amanda and Frankie and the rest of the cast.
This movie takes me back lol especially when they started playing the blue song messing with his car 😂
Happy 20th anniversary, _Big Fat Liar._

I absolutely love Amanda Bynes. When I was a kid, I had a huge crush on Amanda Bynes. Still do to this day. I loved her in _All That, The Amanda Show_ and _What I Like About You._
I loved her in Big Fat Liat, All a Girl Wants, She's the Man (my favorite), and Sydney White (my second favorite). I pray for her to make a big return to acting.
@@ericsantana1184 _Big Fat Liar_ and _What a Girl Wants._
Hairspray as well. I hope she's doing bertter now
I had a crush on Miranda Cosgrove so I hear you
I could've saved her bros
I nearly forgot this movie, man hit right in my childhood.
This movie was awesome and is an absolute classic
This was part of my childhood, I love watching this time and time again.
This movie brings back a lot of my childhood memories!😭😭😭 I remember watching the commercials and ads for this movie when I was a kid and I remember they used to show this on the Disney Channel all the time! An instant classic and one of the funniest movies ever made!🤣😂😂😂 You’ll still catch Frankie Muniz and Paul Giamatti in movies and television, you just won’t see Amanda Bynes anymore, because after her final role in the 2010 Emma Stone comedy Easy A, she dealt with both mental health and substance abuse struggles. And I heard after she got some help, she studied to become a fashion designer. I loved her in both this movie and Robots!🤖 RIP Blue Sky Studios! And I think my sister still watches The Amanda Show! Now I heard that Shawn Levy recently said in an interview that he still wants to make a Big Fat Liar sequel and to make it look like the 2017 belated sequel Bigger Fatter Liar doesn’t exist!😱😱😱 He said the plot may center around Marty Wolf wanting revenge on Jason and Kaylee for ruining his life! Paul Giamatti and Frankie Muniz could reprise their roles respectively but it is unknown if Amanda Bynes could return to acting anytime soon or if her character should just be recasted or if the plot should just focus on Jason and Kaylees kids instead. We’ll just have to wait and see what Shawn Levy says!
Disney showed a movie by Universal pictures? I thought those studios were rivals.
@@eec589 They’ve even shown movies from Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures on their channel. They’ve shown movies like the first two Harry Potter movies, Cats & Dogs, Happy Feet, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Despicable Me 1, 2, & 3, The Lorax, Secret Life of Pets, the Hotel Transylvania films and even movies from DreamWorks. Maybe it’s because they can’t find any other kid friendly cable tv channels to show those movies, so I’m guessing Disney asked those other studio’s permission to show their movies on their channel.
Metro 🚋 Goldwyn Mayer Pictures Presents 🎁 Secret 🤐 Of NIMH
Seriously, this guy pissed off that many people in the movie industry so much that they would want conspire to kill his career.
My favorite line: Kastang! You’re Busted!
One of my all time favorite movies.
Avatar: The Way of Water at home be like:
What do you mean??
Marty: Yikes 😱
2:20
*OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!*
😂😂😂😂😂😂
And to think this all started over a phone call(no money, no recognition, not even a guest appearance) just a phone call.
I still think about how crazy it was with the Blue and Orange Dye😂😂😂
I love this movie! I’ve watched it a lot when I was in 3rd grade! I even painted a large picture of him blue on his skin and the orange hair. And of course, love the blue song.
Nostalgia!!!! The music and him turning blue is still hilarious
Well somebody at Universal clearly has a good sense of humor to post this today LOL
Universal big fat lair is absolutely one of the greatest universal movies ever made .
How would you not notice your arms, hands, legs and feet are blue when getting out the pool?
I was thinking the same thing
Cause Margy wolf is a Idiot. thats why.
To be fair, I thought I had lost keys when they were in my hands 😂
The 2000s cinema was another thing
Underrated movie.
Paul killed it!
Oh man, I had forgotten about this movie, I remember losing my breath from laughing, I should definitely re-watch it
Did he not realise his pool is blue when he got out? 😂 😂 😂
Oh I remember this one. When Amanda Bynes was fun and in her mind. 20 years ago.
Disney xd was the channel they pass it
i turn 28 next month on the 22 & still watch the amanda show all the time. it was my childhood & i was horrified when she was arrested 4 dui in 2012. but i heard shes getting better
Marty: Now, You’re Mine!
man Paul Giamatti has a huge amount of acting potential. He reminds me a lot of Bryan Cranston in Malcom In the Middle. It would be so cool if he worked with some real content creators like Vince Gilligan or the Safdie Brothers (especially since he hasn't really been in anything that special recently). He's the kind of guy who can definitely pull off a dramatic roll as he can perform comedy really well and definitely has the capabilities for it.
Have you seen Billions?
I've only seen bits of it, it doesn't really grab my attention.
Bryan Cranston and Paul Giamatti both co-starred in Saving Private Ryan in smaller roles in different parts of the film.
@@Roadkill-Films that’s pretty cool
Marty: Delicious 😋
Crazy that this Movie is 20 Years Old, as it's Nostalgic to Return to!
i was seven when it came out & just turned 28 on the 22. i was dying 2 see it. i miss when amanda was like this :( i still watch her show all the time & have it on dvd. it was my childhood & i was horrified when she was arrested 4 dui in 2012 :( the latest ive heard about her is when she checked back in2 rehab

Marty Wolf is the original Avatar.
I first watched this film on Netflix a year or two ago and now I really want to watch it again. It really is a damn great film!
wow lol
Up yours blue boy!
@@juanitamorgan5475 Lol
I'm going to watch this on Wednesday
I'm going to watch it tomorrow for sure
Whenever our elementary became lazy to watch us, they would bring out a TV on wheels and play this. Kangaroo jack and Agent Cody. Good times
I just thought about Jason’s next prank to Marty to get him to admit about stealing his story by adding chocolate laxatives into the cake batter for the premiere party until he had a *HUGE* amount of exploding diarrhea and the atomic runs until he painfully finally admitted to the public while pooping his pants as his butt and colon hurts him!
That would’ve been perfect!
Jason: Never 👎
This was a certified hood classic! It definitely doesn't need a reboot/sequel.
.
Bigger Fatter Liar: *waves hand* Helloooo...
.
*Shoots film until it stops moving*
*reloads*
*Shoots film again until the clip is empty*
.
Like I said, Big Fat Liar does not need a reboot/sequel.
My favorite childhood movie, such a classic
Let's pray that superstar Amanda Bynes returns to acting maybe get her into superhero movies and perhaps more comedy movies.
I’ve always loved Eiffel 65’s Blue it’s a classic and in they chose the perfect time to play the song. There is no other perfect moment to play that song than when they did.
3:43 is the best moment as he was blue.
Eiffel 65.
As a kid, I never got the pun on the Boy who Cried Wolf
We've come a long way from the early 2000s. Now Shawn Levy is releasing the new exciting Deadpool and Wolverine movie.
This movie came out 2 days after my 7th birthday and I still love it.
I love this movie.
Marty wolf was the prediction of Dan Schneider
I loved watching this movie as kid growing up 😂😂
This is still one of my favourite movies
8:26, the moment wolf realizes he gets exposed
You're so funny to have Lee majors on there as the fall guy. 😂
Awesomeness job
Amazing to think that Frankie Muniz is now in NASCAR driver! He’s actually pretty good for his rookie season!
Imagine if he dropped the F-bomb when he saw himself in the mirror.
2:20
OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!
I know Bruce Baum is famous as “Babyman” & Michael Keaton is famous at “Batman”.
But Paul Giamatti is famous as “Smurfman”; what a concept!
2:20 - Marty screams!
.
One of my favorite movies as a kid
2:20 OH MY GODDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They told me to pick up a little blue car. They didn’t say anything about a little blue man!
(laughing)
I was in 3rd grade when this movie came out, and it's still every bit as hilarious!
im in my 30s and still love this movie lol
What a good movie
Great times man ❤
7:47 Marty: Angry 😡 Screaming 😱
I love that movie
I️ miss this time in history and these type of movies.
It’s cool that they got to have Macolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz in this film by Universal Pictures; he even got to visit Universal Studios in Hollywood when it had all its classic rides back then.
3:43 🎶 I'm blue da ba dee da ba daa 🎶
Great one ☺️
2:20 - Marty Wolf: [screams in horror] *OH, MY GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!*
8:02 _insert_ _“get out”_ _chris_ _crying_ _meme here_
4:05 I'm surprised he didn't just ask "why so blue?" Maybe they figured that would be too easy.
My favourite scene 😂
This movie is a masterpiece of comedy.
Soundtrack on this film was pretty damn good as well
5:40 i love how the guy behind the curtains wasn't scared shitless
I think that heli is used for movie shoots and the emergency light can be triggered remotely, Marty probably wouldn't know the difference.
Agreed, it’s a prop helicopter. It flies like a real one, but has features that can be toggled on and off anytime.
Marty: Mayday!
One of my favorite kiddy movies
I’m blue daba dee daba dai 😂
As an 11-12 year old, I loved this film.
Yeah, this I'd a pretty good one for sure and a little underrated I agree
2:22 The Screaming 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is the best part of the movie, When Marty Wolf starts dancing, He got so into ego, didn’t realize he was Blue after he got out of the Pool! Hilarious he even notice it even when he was going up the stairs until the shower.
Loved this movie just fun movies are my favorite movies

It's because of this film that I discovered and loved Eeiffels 65
Glad to know the house is as badass as I remembered lol
Marty Wolf: Please, Don’t Hurt 😔 Me!

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDD!!!!!!!!!!!
This movie is how I found Duran Duran
From “Hungry Like A Wolf” to “Psycho”. I’d prefer “Ah, Freak Out!”
ya know they told me to pick up a little blue car... they didn't say anything about a little blue man 😏
Hey, Marty. I like your new coloring. It works for you.
Should have been green.
