If only human beings had the unconditional acceptance of dogs. Everybody is their friend and quite frankly, it brings a tear to my eye. They just live & freely love others around themselves. Um, & we’re supposed to be the most evolved species of all? I often really question that, tbh.

I had a collie who brought home a possum she sat it down layed down beside it and began to wash it like a momma dog washes a puppy she would lay around with it until she got bored and walked away and the possum would leave. The next day she brought it back again. It looked like she wanted a puppy luckily a while later she had 3 puppies of her own.

Most dogs, especially, labs/ golden retrievers, are so sweet and gentle ( not a hunting, instinct, in their bones), unlike other breeds, that would, probably attack the innocent dear, ducks, sheep, trying to befriend them.. such a adorable ❤ collection!

@@Teddy31976 I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I'm full time caregiver for my mom at the moment with dementia and heart trouble and all sorts of stuff. It's something you don't want to think about but when they are sick you kind of have to .
I lost my mum too this year, she would have been 62 next week, she suffered with cancer for 18 months, didn't deserve it. If there is a god, we are not friends and I don't believe in all these fairytale stories, they are ridiculous

About 15 years ago we had a stray cat that would jump are fence to get inside the dog run with the dogs. We called the cat "Gilligan" as he was there little buddy. Would rub his body along the dogs, go nose to nose to sniff and fallow my dogs around in there enclosed front yard.... When my dogs came in he jumped up on the chair to take a nap till the next time they came out again...

We have a doggy door, late one night lying on the couch, I hear my dog clumsily come in though the door, looked up in the dark, and he was all black! He looked kinda weird, I said "What did you get into?" just then MY dog come in behind "Her"....lol
