With the battery life, go to the health app and under steps sync, turn off frequent. The watch then goes a further day or so on battery life. It's a hidden feature and stops your watch syncing with your phone all the time draining it's battery.
I really have no clue tf has happened to this feature. Samsung support tells you some bs about how they had to make a thicker backpanel so wireless charging is not reachable anymore, even though it clearly shows that the charging starts every time you try to use it. I have a suspicion that its just software blocked because of some battery compatibility issues(maybe the same ones that give these watches very questionable battery life despite having clearly more efficient chipset) and they'll reintroduce it a couple months later after fixing it, under a claim that they boosted their electromagnetic induction or some bs like that
@@ghtechreview yeah I can imagine that it's definitely more powerful and I prefer the design of it, but how much ease and compatibility am I losing by not using a Samsung phone, am I even going to notice it or will it be a good experience still (with the watch 7)
@@obvio______3875 U can connect to non-samsung phones (i think) its just most or some of the features will not be supported, in my opnion, samsung watch 7 with supported samsung phone is much better
To add credit cards you just need Wi-fi. Once you have set up Samsung Pay on your Galaxy Watch 7 and added your credit card details, the payment information is stored securely on the watch itself. This means you can use the watch to make payments without needing an active internet connection. So if you forget your phone, you can use the watch with Samsung pay without the Bluetooth or wifi.
I was waiting so long to upgrade, before preordering GW7 44mm BT version I still had Samsung Gear S3 frontier so its quite update. performance - so much faster cant even compare. battery life - gear s3 frontier battery life was a bit more than 24h. GW7 44mm BT with power saving mode I get 4 days, without power saving 2 days 10 hours (continnuously measuring HR, sleeping with watch, always on display disabled, Wi-Fi off, NFC on) I got 1 extra sports band when preordering and find it quite comfy but I would like to try fabric one but I find it to expensive 50 eur a piece...
@@ghtechreview I think it is possible to get closer to 3 days if not wearing it at night and set measuring HR on manual or every 10 mins, will try this at some point
Lol I have a Gear S2, half the display started to flicker and it constantly claims that it has to shut down to cool off from overheating... Still debating if it's worth getting a watch upgrade 😅
Im seeing people complaining here about the battery life of the galaxy watch 7 being bad but understand that the watch first learns how you use it and after some time you can expect around 3 days from full charge. (still lower than some smartwatches)
I see a lot of liers on here or ppl with a bad galaxy watch 7 because I get more than 2 days on my galaxy watch 7 and that's with Google Assistant running in the background and without starting my watch
Hey bro, my wrist is 8.5 inches as well. I want to get the small/medium band because thats the only size that the dark gray comes in. Will this size really fit my larger wrist? 8.5 inches
I still have to get new software update on my watch 7. Seriously its really frustrating that I'm getting 15-16 hours only of full charge. I noticed i slept at 11:30pm having battery left 41% . When I woke up at 6am it was already dead. What's wrong is happening with other users? While other users are getting more than 2days battery backup. Samsung runined it their quality control system.
The only battery drain that I faced was from apps running in the background and not being able to stop them. Yeah a few users have experience some terrible battery life, but this software update addressed that battery issue. Hopefully you get it soon. Thanks for sharing.
Watch 7 has a brand new bio active sensor which is way more accurate, also checks for sleep apnea, has AGEs feature, has a body energy feature also.. Saying that watch 6 is the same as 7 just says you have no idea what your talking about 😂 😂
Not worth it. I bought the watch 7 last week and i also have the 5 pro and 6 classic . The watch 7 sleep and nap tracking is useless . Energy score is a gimmick , battery is a joke
I wouldn't buy any smart watch that only lasted 24 hours between charging. I'll stick with Huawei and their 14 day charging cycles 😊 why can't other watched do that?!
When it comes to heart rate measurement, this watch is so inaccurate that it is unusable for monitoring one's health. Let's not talk about blood pressure measurement, which is a gimmick. The battery life is far too low, especially when wearing the watch to sleep. An hour and a half to recharge it is huge. Personally, I do not recommend this watch to people who would like to monitor their health. There are other watches that are much better than the Galaxy watch 7 for this.
Big disappointment! 1. No rotating wesel! What happened? 2. Charge every day! Garmin's battery last at least 1 week! 3. Cheap looking bands. 4. Bad accuracy! As good as nothing or a random generator! 5. Performance? Still slow! 6. Price! Too much for what it is. , We have to wait another year and hope that Samsung does it correctly next time (version 8)!
I am very happy with my gw4. Beautiful, practical, with rotating wesel. Now, waiting again, we will see if gw8 is a good Samsung or a bad copy of Apple watch.

Samsung is offering trade-in deals (Samsung Store): howl.me/cmObNfpNZBr
Please show more information of this watch about the supported apps.

Is this movement with the fingers a function of the clock or ring?
The finger gestures are from the watch.
Should I upgrade from Galaxy watch 4 classi
"Should" not but it's not a bad idea brother 👍

does blood pressure and thermometer work on watch 7 ?
Work...
Great question, I forgot to mention this. The blood pressure feature only works if you have a Samsung phone.
Honestly what's better for a pixel user, this galaxy watch 7 or the pixel watch 1? Those are my options. Thanks
Galaxy Watch 7
I would say the watch 7 over the first gen pixel watch.

Hi GH, can you go for a run and get the map tracked without LTE or phone with you ?
Do they have the classic for the 7 as well?
Not for the 7, they just have the watch 7 and ultra.
Interesting how you say wait for Galaxy Watch 8 when you don't know what better features (if any), it might have over the Watch 7.

44mm both are available for NFC option
Yes, they both have NFC
So I can my credit card they are
Yeah, you can add your credit cards on the watch for tap to pay.
