If anything. Spartan 4's would be more susceptible to switching sides compared to 2's & 3's. 4's are closer to regular humans who can easily be swayed when it comes down to ideals and beliefs. Whereas 2's and 3's were moreso made to be loyal towards humanity. 2's will fight there own if needed.
Nice thinking, yeah Spartan 2s are far too brainwashed to leave the UNSC
While I do agree with most of what you’re saying, I’d like to add in my own thoughts. Spartan 3s are far more likely to join the Banished than you might think. Remember, the Spartan 3s were specifically chosen, trained and enhanced with expendability in mind -just like how Atriox and his comrades were seen as expendable. The Spartan 3s were likely not as deeply “programmed” as the 2s were, and when you combine that with Atriox’s unnatural charisma, I can definitely see at least one Spartan 3 joining the Banished.
They really should have had Infinite take place when the Infinity was going after Cortana and was attacked by the Banished. Infinite has the same problem as BOTW (fun game, but has various problems that will inevitably be fixed in the sequel) where the most interesting stuff happened off screen and you’re just cleaning up the mess afterwards. It would have been awesome if you could fight alongside the UNSC against Banished humans, and had to get rid of the spies/turncoats within your ranks. They also really should have developed the game on Unreal because then they’d actually be able to implement stuff so much faster.
I really like the Covenant offshoots. The Storm Covenant from 4/5 have an interesting backstory, but absolutely atrocious implementation into the actual games. The Banished are a lot more fun to fight and have a better art style.
Totally, when I first started playing I was so confused, felt like I missed half the story. And I would have loved some more fighting alongside UNSC, going into battle with a small number of troops from a FOB just didn't feel the same.
Personally, the Banished were one of the best things about the game, I find their lore interesting so glad the game expanded it.
Halo infinite’s story is literally just there to erase everything halo 5 did and that’s it.
@@geraldhuff7413yeah, although tbh it could have been so much more interesting. I really liked spartan locke from halo 5, if he was better written he could be a really cool character
The banished are my favorite of the alien factions in halo. The brutes are my favorite alien species in halo so it only makes sense to me.
Insurgences moment
I imagine any mercenaries would be pretty desperate/evil to join the Banished tbh. Brutes have a penchant for eating what they kill, and even the jackals and grunts have eaten humans on occasion, so i doubt it would be discouraged on their raids. I think it would always linger in the merc's minds that members of the faction they are working with know what they taste like both raw or roasted over a spit.
As a gears of war fan does processing mean the same thing in halo as it does in gears of war?
I’d say most definitely
Trumpers will join them asap
Geez even in video game channels people can’t escape you toxic lefties who never shut up about Trump or his followers.
Well as free thinkers with greater than normal intelligence I would expect them to.
Join a bunch of badass alien space pirates that actually give me a chance because they don’t hate me or my race? You bet your ass I’m in!
