    I have a Tri Star viper in 20 GA. And a Tri Star Raptor in 12 GA. Never had any trouble at all. It shoots flawless. Like you said worth the money.

    I got my son hooked on sporting clay shooting. I purchased him the left handed TriStar Viper G2 as his entry gun. He loves it and we have not had any issues. It is very easy to break down and clean. For the money I feel you will be hard pressed to find a better entry level shotgun. Great video!!!

    Armsan a612 sporter, without the magazine extension. Awesome gun, reliable gas system. I have the challenge model (ipsc version) and it's the most reliable semi auto shotgun I have ever fired. For the past 6 years it have never failed on me, no matter what it cycles from lightest sporting loads to heaviest magnums it eats them all up, no hickups whatsoever.

    Was gonna get a remington 870, but cables only had a 12 gauge for 700 bucks and I was like hell no. I need a 20 gauge mainly because I'm short. I love it, it's great for goose hunting and trap.

    Yup, I own a Tri Star raptor. It's a really good gun with one slight exception. It will NOT cycle any other than slugs and 00 buckshot. It absolutely will not cycle any lighter loads. It won't even cycle my favorite game load #2 shot. Needless to say it stays home during hunting season. I probably won't buy another nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

    One thing that nearly every builder of semi-auto shotguns have in common...crossbolt safety system(only Mossberg offers a top-tang safety system,except on 20ga.semi-auto models,these feature crossbolt safetys)all aluminium receivers without even a choice of a all steel machined steel receiver.(Browning was the only company to offer aluminum or steel(light 12,16,20 gauge guns were aluminum,standard models were machined steel receivers)Only the Browning/Winchester semi-autos feature over-bored barrels(or back-bored)for tighter patterns and less recoil.Three inch(3")chambered models generally cycle ammo down to one-ounce loads without any issues,three-and-a-half-inch chambered models 3 1/2"(12 ga.only)cycle down to 1 1/8 ounce loads(this can be somewhat debatable though,some makes can cycle 1 once loads,very iffy)

      Yeah, I got a tristar silver g2 28 gauge and when I took it apart to clean it, man those parts are tight fitting...i used the heaviest 28 gauge shells I could find to break it in... and it has been absolutely flawless...0 failures to date and I've had it for several years now

    • @Kmadams_97
      @Kmadams_97 6 лет назад

      My hunting buddy had one and it was extremely unreliable. Would usually cycle once then jam after the second shot. Wouldn't cycle in cold weather, wouldn't cycle if even slightly wet, would jam if he used anything smaller than 3" shells. Not a gun I'd recommend

    I had a TriStar semi auto & it lasted for one month. Piece of crap. Receiver and breach are made of cheap metal. Couldn’t even break it in with heavy loads. Turkish made piece of crap. Don’t expect it to last. You get what you pay for. Save your money & get a Mossberg or Remington, trust me!!!
