In life I've come to realize that you can do everything right, follow all the steps, live by the rules and principles of the game but you will still get people who'll mistreat you. My advice to sis Vathiswa is to focus on her craft, do right by herself & everything will fall into its own place. Every dog has its days 🤞

People like to cloning. When you don't blindly follow, raise pertinent issues, without fear or favour; you unsettle the modus operandi which freaks them out. It's a challenge to be principled because you will not "fit in" or be the "liked" in any space where ethics and ethical conduct is not honoured. Strong people are easy targets for weak leadership!

@@sibongisenisakhele3114 I hear you, you make some valuable important points. But at some point one needs to do a deep self introspection after so many unfortunate turn of events one has to ask themselves WHO IS THE COMMON DENOMINATOR? & ask themselves honestly, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT EVERYONE is at fault but me? What is it about me that attracts these certain situations that I clearly don't like?.

@@sinazomajambe6559 this is true, sometimes you need to do some self introspection..I think the host almost told her this but he couldn’t because of how she defends herself.I was this person until I got a new job this year and my manager helped me an I can say I’m better now .She is an amazing actress but she must stop expecting people to be angels and she does have valid points to some extend but there’s a pattern here.Let her have her own production company and let’s talk after that

First of all the good thing is Vatiswa has recipients she's not scared in her book to mention so and so by names. What I got here is that people in the media industry sleep their way up, jobs yes are for the qualified and the willing. Clearly when she turned that guy down someone else agreed to his terms and got a job and I'm quite sure it's something that still happens even this day and age😏

Great interview, anyway this is Vathiswa Ndara, anything she has to say is worth giving an ear.
King David is really leading and telling the story instead of Vathiswa freely telling her side. He tells it and Vathiswa is more agreeing, it's more or is it through or not. He interjects a lot instead of letting her finish her own story. I want to watch the second interview and because I am really interested in hearing what Ms Ndara would say but hey, not ecstatic of hearing the interviewer comparing notes and trying to tell his own story through Vathiswa's story. I think he needed to act as if he didn't know the story and let the story owner tell it herself.

But on the optimistic side of things I love her zeal and passion to still strive and look beyond the situations that altered her point of direction, not ever did it shift her focus to still keep on trying regardless of how hard she got knocked down by the countless life events. The point is keep on keeping on regardless how crazy the outside might see you.

I really find it annoying how people water down Vatiswa's energy to always stand for what is fair and against injustices in the name of ''playing devil's advocate.'' There is always an expectation that those who have been treated unfairly and unjustly must be the ones who become the BIGGER PERSONS by letting things go or walk away. It sets a wrong precedent because once you allow disrespect from superiors, they'll keep testing your boundaries to a point of no return.
How the hell does a superior insist on a meeting outside office buildings when the issues raised are about about allowing that nonsense of ''a coffee and dinner session at her own private residence?'' Won't we turn around and say ''but what were you expecting? Wena aya kwini?''

We pray the God and the heavens open windows of opportunity. What she is yet to see far exceeds what she has achieved. God is fair and a righteous judge. Sis Vat's life is in her creator's hands. Where doors are closed by the hand of man, God will open windows for countless blessings. Let it rain, be ready my sister to fly out of SA for dollar and pound gigs.

Ok now I understand the “diva” component coz she is coming from Diaspora…I’ve been away from home for more than 20yrs & I can now relate to her “difficult-ness”. Things that look simple & normal to everyone at home is difficult for some of us who have lived in the white communities to adapt to…things like having your own accommodation with privacy is a basic thing for us from Diaspora but not a big deal to people at home. Secondly, when you say NO it’s acceptable & you don’t have to explain yourself BUT at home that is bezoar … when she said take me to the airport they should have just done that coz that is exactly how we operate in Diaspora. Good luck to her trying to work with Africans living in Africa 😢😮😊

Hence the "I believe her" movement, it's bcos of how traumatic stories from victims were dismissed in the past 💔
