This Guy Sol Phenduka is very much informed. He knows everything, From Porn, Sport, History, Politics, Academics everything
Sometimes I ask myself if is he really a humanbeing or Google itself. His mind is very sharp and quick. Now I wish to see him doing something serious like praying or singing church song 😅😅😅😅😅. I'm being silly here😅.
He definitely watches news and reads
Lols porn

Ngila engikhona through Zola 7. This King changed my life. I will be always grateful. 2009 my zola 7 episode was aired. In tears as we speak.
Man that's dope to hear. Seriously dope. Keep on keeping
Thank you for giving him his flowers ❤
Thank you for sending the shout out to the legend!🙌🏽
Wow bro❤❤❤
If Zola cannot do the podcast on his own. Please give him a segment on the podcast. Maybe on Saturday 😅. "Saturdays with Mzolisto"😅🔥🔥
I Agree
Please.
Leave Mac g alone.. He is doing too much
Actually you're right. A show on the network
Where's the petition guys❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
that's a really great idea.
Zola can start a podcast but doesn't have to release every week. Once a month is good as long as the content appeals to the masses and he gets consistent.
True.... It doesn't have to be every week. Evn once in 3 months. 3 hrs of knowledge
The first ever CD I owned was Mdlwembe when I was 17 years old in 2001. I begged and begged my mother because there was just something about listening to Zola that made me feel seen, heard and understood. His music and lyrics had vocabulary for things I felt but couldn't express. My hopes and dreams, my fears, things that made me sad and things that made me happy, things I saw in my community that I didn't know how to explain, Zola did that for me. I might never ever get a chance to meet him but if there was ever a man who inspired me in ways I could not imagine it has to be Bonginkosi Dlamini. Thank you bro! Thank you so much for being a gift to this world.
Did you know?
If 10% of podcast and chill subscribers were to donate R20 each for the next 10 months we could raise the R20 Million Zola needs for the show.
But that's not how we Black South Africans think about such things, anyway it's always great seeing and listening to Zola such an inspirational individual who touched our hearts in so many ways.
More blessings and good health to him.
I support this.
On this I would not hesitate to donate 🤞🤞❤️❤️
If the podcast started a fund Zola seven show for 6 months, we would reach that 20 million easy. They should do it via the podcast
Love it❤
I like this idea 👌
Zola7 book recommendations:
1. Indaba my children - Credo Muthwa
2. Art of war - Sun Tzu
3. Conversations beyond your valley - Jasper Swayne

thanks bro
Thank you 🙏

Thanks 😊
Ask your grandma about Zola, ask your mother about Zola, ask your brothers and sisters about Zola, ask 2k's about Zola... EVERYBODY KNOWS ZOLA!!! What a legend!
Nice comment.... And also Very True!!!!
Respect
😂😂🤞🏾
You ain't tell no lie bro
Tell me your grand mother was born in the 80s without telling me she born in the 80s 😂😂don’t chest
He didnt lie when he said “ I’m gonna shine in the dark like the stars ebsuku, sing all day njengey’ nyon’ zezulu” He life story is shining and he is singing his wisdom to us….S’phiwe is so right to say we all wanted to write to him evej though we didnt know what we’d he righting for.
There was an episode he had on the Zola 7 show where a kid had gotten a criminal record for stealing I think ama smarties and how he helped him out…that specific episode stuck with me to this day
On behalf of VAAL RAPPERS I WANA SAY THANK YOU ZOLA FOR MAKING THE WORLD AWARE OF OUR HOOD VAAL ❤
We need zola back in it again...South African own treasure
The should Jus add him to the network... There's still a slot on Saturday...
Was it a lie, because i saw somewhere saying he is back
Funny coz your name is the same as his...
@@MopayiKhomotso we want to watch this channel the whole week
Sol really loves Zola he is so excited in this interview can't contain himself and also a reminiscent moment for him
I think Zola must visit every year because we need to be reminded how big he is. This guy was indeed "the Michael Jackson of Kwaito". We need to celebrate him.
I don't know how to describe this Episode... Just Beautiful!! Zola 7❤️There will never be another! Grootman, a true inspiration. SouthAfrica's Pride
Zola 7 (At his peak) once came to my home town (Standerton, Mpumalanga) while shooting his famous SABC show and came to donate blankets, I remember the day very faintly because I was very much young at the time ... But one thing I can remember was how quickly the news travelled around my small town, It was like Mandela was in town. Everyone was over the moon to just have seen him in the flesh. My mom made her cameo on TV as she was part of the extras in the back haha (She always references the story whenever Zola is mentioned)
But over and above that Zola is such an inspiring man. He was very in tune with the people and he was very hands on. As much as his show was not entirely funded by him, he also touched many lives in many ways.
I can talk about all day, but I just wanna give him his flowers for being a great inspiration to all of us
MacG loves Sol and he is not jealous of him. He let Sol shine on this one. ❤
The fact checker has a bright future in broadcasting, she is eloquent and intelligent
She's brilliant!
Very
And she is humble at it...
Aow bra Andile you here too
Love how the platform is just creating and opening doors for our young and black people
Returning guests like zola are important for the platform and chillers , we as the chillers get to see their growth over the years since the last interview and can get inspiration from that 🎉
Great to see , inspiring too
🎉
Now i understand why Zola is so brilliant, he reads books. He understands culture and go deep and wider to understand various topics. He is still relevant.❤❤
I am Zimbabwean and there is a memorable Zola 7 song we would chant in highschool - it’s all I knew about a “Zola7” now , I know more and I get why there was that chant so to say ! Great interview!
Sol is gonna be those uncles that tells dope stories about their experiences at family events while ya'll sitting at the fire circle 🔥 😂
Dinonwane😀
Especially, uma eserhasi😂😂
He's a good story teller ❤
This is the Zola we know... wow the king is back... mountain of knowledge

Much love to Zola maaan.. I was a beneficiary of his bursaries given by Y2Y back in 2009.. He and Naledi, changed our lives.
This episode was so wholesome and you could literally feel the respect everyone has for ZOLA 7! Grew up watching this man. Thanks Guys!!!
That Factchecker sentiment on Zola was really profound 😢😢😢
Too much
Ad a 2000 myself i felt that and it resonates a lot with me
The void still remains. We need to do something to curate and document South African traditions and make it available to everyone online for info and use. We can use it to refer. Especially when it comes to... weddings, umembeso, lobola (same culture, and between two different cultures), funerals, coming of age (umemulo, ulwaluko), birth, ithakazelo, etc. I need your help. What is step 1?
I had to go back to it like 3 times.. this young lady has a bright future ahead❤

A side of Zola so relatable I have never seen and honestly Macg is our Oprah
Zola remains unmatched. This Gent is Legendary. Humour is on another level
Does anyone remember the music/lyric books we use to have in high school? Mine was all about Zola, his music, personality, and contribution to society 😢. I would write him letters in my book thanking him and letting him know how inspirational he is. I once did a presentation about him in school and when I did an audition for a tv show, I used him as a subject matter 🤩. Thank you 😊 bhuti Bonginkosi 🙏🏾 🕯 💐
Oh Man, Zola remain a legend and his storyline will always be relevant to South African people for years to come. Man, Zola is an adorable human being. Big up my brother and may God continue to bless Zola 🎉
Zola has so much love and respect for MacG, it's heart warming.

Yha but he was almost sidelining Sol and Celebrities that comes to the show respect Sol as much as they respect Macg . I don’t think Zola is a chiller. If he was , he would know Sol and the value he adds to the podcast.
Sol penduka is Soo comfortable....n it feels Soo good to watch...the chemistry between sol n Zola is so organic ❤
Dlamini clan' right there
Imagine Zola Having a Podcast, Call it Blacked Out Podcast.
Interviewing Mbuso Khoza on Zulu History. And Other Southern African histories.
Great idea.
He should have an African name for the podcast.

This was a superb podcast. Zola dropped some gems. I’m shocked that Zola and his team used to buy blank vinyls from Zimbabwe. It just goes to show how much of a giant back then ZIMBABWE was.
Zola and Sol have so much knowledge, absolutely admirable 🙌🏽
We need Zola to host next time should MacG be away😍
Best friend of the show
We really do
Lol I think DJ Sbue is the best stand in 😂
Most of us were actually privileged to live in a time where we could watch shows like Zola 7 on TV and be inspired to do better with our lives, shout to the gents for bringing Zola back , kids today don’t have any artist to guide and inspire them to be something of value, we live in a time of instant gratification and overnight senseless success, too many celebrities but not many ma 2k can look up to for knowledge and wisdom.
True, who is the Zola of today? On the ground like Zola? I guess each to his own these days
Ola mzolisto Ola come back bro yame njayame

Living legend Zola 7. My all time South African artist. So much wisdom from Zola. We also need a book from Zola.
PLEASE Give Zola a Segment on the show like Mpho Pops and others🙏
Thanks to MacG for brilliant interviewing skills. You’re the best in the game
I so wish Zola wasn't introduced to the bad side of the industry. Grootman is the truth! Knowledgeable and free spirited😅

Nope I disagree with you. What ever happened to him made turned him to what he is now

The message his songs delivered is a life time knowledge. Zola is a GOAT.
I hope Bhut' Zola will come watch the podcast, read the comments section and understand how great he was, is and will continue to be, I hope he understands that we know what/who he has fought to be where he is right now, this moment is so big, and I absolutely love it for him, and I know I'm not the only one.
And thank you Ghostlady for extending the invitation to produce the podcast, it will be amazing. You guys are doing great things...

Indeed you played your role and excelled.

Todays show made me end up in tears just because of how great Zola is
Me too. I found myself in tears. What a legend ❤
Same. It made me more emotional when he said he needs to keep being told how great he is. No ways our greats should be feeling like this still. We need to do better in celebrating them.
I remember back when Zola set up that library eMthatha - he invited my dad Dr. Delarey Mkatshwa to support that project, and he was extremely proud of Zola's initiative. #Legacy
Zola is very humble,no matter how much they hype him ,he just diverts the hype to other people 🇧🇼
I thought I was gonna check this out for a few minutes and now I finished the whole thing 😂
Zola is such a Godsend, man. A true gift. Intelligent without being arrogant. I've loved this guy since I was a kid during the Zola7 days 😍😍😍
His spirit of giving back really inspired me. Such a beautiful heart
Ma'am they're killing me, umsebenzi weskolo umile😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
When Zola speaks everyone listens. He should start a Podcast we want to see him more often.
Sol phenduka really nneded to see zola today, you could see that sol really resonated a lot with the guy. It's good to see that the wisdom is still there, Sol and a few other are living proof of that. Fruitful episode.
All I know is I got to apply for accommodation eRes at UJ because of Zola. He gave me a lift to Cresta to get the necessary documentation I needed when no taxi would transport me because I wore the shortest of dresses😂 he was kind, not dismissive or judgemental, he didn't ask anything of me. Needless to say, I got into Res & got my qualification in IT. So thank you Zola🙏🏾
I never stopped wearing short dresses or skirts except when I had to catch a taxi
Wow!😢that's fantastic fam,Salute to Zola🙌🙌🙌

What a legend, I could listen to this guy talk, he is old school and yet still so relevant to what we are currently going through
I feel proud that I contributed for Zola, even if it was few rands but if I see him looking good like this. I feel like I contributed on making him feel well. God bless him and everybody who helped.❤.

Thank you so so much Sol and Mac for this episode ❤
Zola influenced the masses man, my late uncle used to play him and I grew up to be a fan too, i remember playing tracks like starz on my way to the morning study during my high school era, so to u Zola 7 I would like to say thank you, big time for the role u played, may God bless you man ❤❤❤❤
I remember as a kid in Alex, we had Zola come to our primary school to help us address the challenge of pollution. This man was/is inspirational!

Educational but fun. maybe we need a south African History Podcast show on this channel
Health wise, Zola looks really good. I am happy for uGuluva
I always said to my friends Bhuti Zola is the one celebrity I would stop if I see him and say dankie for the life lesson...I remember on Zola 7 he once said" it's not your fault that you were born poor but I will be your fault if you die poor " that kept from my high school days. Zola what A Legend❤
Sol and MacG were fanboying so bad lol, a great episode as always. Zola is genuinely a LEGEND of the show. I never knew he is so knowledgeable and this podcast is fantastic for bringing such legends to light!
Its good to see Zola back to health and full of life. You can even hear it in his voice. Big up!!!
On God❤ my heart just warmed up
I don't know why i started crying and felt do emotional when Mac started asking his Team Members to aay something to Zola, wow 👏👏👏👏👏👏 ❤❤❤❤😢
I am Namibian and I have not really been familiar with Zola 7 but I can say that this man is an African. He is so full of wisdom.
I have not laughed like this in the long time. My cheeks were paining from laughter when his wife called.
Namibia stand up!!!! Dope episode this one
This is one the most beautiful, amazing, spiritual and inspirational interview ever 😭😭😭😭😭🔥🔥🔥🔥 . I can't believe I'm tears , I can't explain it ❤🔥🔥
Guys i'm genuinely happy, I mean i've barely ever had this much joy seeing a person like i did now seeing Zola well and healthy. He's an amazing man and a gift to the world. I'm watching him from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and beng raised by Kwaito, I can't explain how surreal it feels listening to him speak about his life in general considering the he's a super staar but still seems to be an ordinary person. Live long and prosper Bra Mzolisto, siyayibonga inkosi okwangempela! 🙏
When I grew up we would be asked who's your role model and most of us would say Zola. This grootman was once the second famous person after Mandela. Shout out Bonginkosi Dlamini for the impact you've made 🙏🏾
Doctor Khumalo was the second famous
It was a beautiful moment when Sol recognised his clan names❤
My contribution to the podcast is that I like before I watch each and every episode
Sol is so excited about this interview. he's well informed and Zola is so wise ❤
He's loving his Zulu speaking brother.
I remember watching Zola 7 episode where they made a song don't cry... The tears I cried during that episode😢😢 .. I was watching with my dad and we were so excited when the song was playing on radio and wow.. the song made it to my book where I wrote lyrics.. I'm sure my dad shared a tear too Couse I was socked... Magnificent amazing.. I still know every word to that song... Just amazing 😍😍

Same here fam
Zola is full of wisdom... He is right wearing makeup has been a long tradition in many African communities, just like for the vaHimba people and many Namibian communities that use red ochre (rukura/orukura/side/otjidhe) for skin protection and aesthetics.
Maximum respect Mzolisto bro wam, I've always consciously listened when you speak; your fame as a multiple talented artist & your authenticity as a Zulu man makes you uniquely you and acceptable. You spoke of various topics and I appreciate mosty your admision of the fact that Yizo-Yizo was a topic Mzansi wasn't ready to touch on, I mean we were at the infantry of our democratic SA when that production took the worse of our society and portrayed it as being glamorous as to poison (whether intentionally or unintentionally) the mind of a black child, and ever since then life has never been the same and the media is to be blamed even for the moral degeneration of our society & the country at large. Television can greatly contribute in the development & direction of young minds, but instead has preferred to take the stance of a satanic agent; killing our young people at tender age. At this point in time technology has greatly advanced & it would serve justice if these TVs could have setting that parents would encrypt with passwords to prevent their children from viewing explicit content.
Sol is having a time of his life in this episode😂❤
Yeah true that but I don't know if it was the alcohol or what but he was acting Abit too excited he was just Abit much , irritating at some point especially when zolas wife called.

Yea man I'm hoping so too
Bruh Sol is having mindgasms and his reactions are contagious.
i still remember the episode of Thembisile who featured him on the song Dont Cry.. how he just jumped on the beat and encouraged girl to be confident.. most people that are sincere find it really easy to uplift other people however find it hard to do that for themselves..he's really dope..
