- Hello everyone! You may be familiar with a series of sea moss videos I published in the spring. I have had several requests since the release of those videos to formulate creams, and body butters with it. In this video, we are revisiting sea moss, and this time we are making a tick and luxurious body lotion with it! Sea moss is an amazing additive to use in your skincare routine. It has so many vitamins and minerals that your skin and body really appreciate. It is also packed full of vegan collagen which is a great thing for mature skin! I hope you like this unique video. Ok Cory, you win, lol! I have been trying to avoid becoming a patreon! I'm a formulator myself, but I love the look of this product! Wow, it is so diffrent from what I've created in the past! I do mostly facial products. So this evening I'm going to become a patreon! I don't want to start at the very beginning and play with the ratios for a month. Not when you have a perfectly good start here. Would I change a few things, yep! I'd automatically add panthenol and add a hydrosol to it. I'm excited about this! I gotta buy me some purple sea moss though!

Lovely recipe cory! I was wondering, i wanted add some essential oils and perhaps honey and propolis to the recipe. could this be included? Or beeswax instead of polawax? So very excited to try this out!
Hi, thank you! Yes, you can add honey, propolis and essential oils to this recipe. You can also add beeswax but it will still need some sort of emulsifier like polawax.

I was always curious about the skin feel between Polawax and E-Wax in general. I have E-Wax since Polawax is a bit harder to find but sounds like they are pretty similar! Thank you so much! You can pour it into containers before it is set up, just make sure it is completely emulsified.

I have a jar of sea moss, not purple, but very nice stuff. Could I use this in my lotions? It’s the same stuff in one of your other lotion videos it’s just already processed and ready to consume.
Also, do you have the link for the low profile jars? I did a show yesterday and sold out of my lotions. I have orders for more but I know with the way shipping is it will take forever to get them from the place I originally other from this summer.

Strange, I know, I found my favourite scale ever, in Walmart, for under 30$! It will measure down to 4 decimal places,accurately. An empty gel capsule if you need a visual. Yes, I tared it to weigh the contents of a gel capsule and wanted it ACCURATE! Offhand I don't remember the brand, and since have (lost) the scale. My daughter tossed the bag it was in into the garbage, thinking it was empty. It wasn't. Obviously. Now.She is more sorry sbout it than I am. But not enough to have replaced it yet. ...
You'll find it under kitchen utensils tblooks like a small...wel it's about 4 cmsx 8 cms x 1 cm thick...and not terribly obtrusive,mine was bronze colour with aluminum pads for setting whatever on for weighing and an led screen..battery operated.not very big at all..easy to miss if you're looking for a regular, large, scale.

Hmm, the video is titled as a DIY (Do It Yourself) tutorial...if it is a DIY where is the recipe? Without the recipe this is more of a demonstration than a public DIY and the title is confusing. Regardless this is an awesome sea moss technique.
