You can select whole face to apply fillet on all edges instead of select them one by one
hi Lars, great tutorial.. but i have a problem, at 14.40 when you use 3 point arc, u could put your start and end point on the edge of the paddle (the edge line turns blue), i can't do that on my end.. any chance you know what's wrong?
@Ali I got the same problem, and I tried offset a plane from middle and still it doesn't work. The start and end point of the 3 point arc just won't sit on the edge. And from the video Lars doesn't have problem by selecting the plane in the middle, so strange.
Have you solved this problem?
Me too... he needs to show his settings. Otherwise his videos are worthless.

Hi Lars. When you picked the closed contours outside of the 3 point arc for Extrusion, how did you pick them from outside the 3D Model. Is there some setting I need to change because when I try to choose these areas it only picks the outside of the model!

Hi Lars, 2 questions:
1. when u started to select the first fillets around the paddle head, you were rotation the cube in increments. Is there a special method to do this like keyboard shortcuts, arrows use? I always feel that orbiting is tricky.
2. Could you also use the project function to duplicate the svg so that you have it in the same orientation on both sides?

I'm pretty new at this. I like your videos because you explain things in a way I seem to be able to grasp, at least eventually. I like to follow your videos and try to duplicate what I see on your screen on my own screen inside Fusion 360. That said, it makes me nervous when I can't make my screen look like yours. I made my way through the first video successfully. But I have a question about my sketch appearance as opposed to yours. Your sketch looks solid at the end. Mine has dotted lines showing all the edges that would be hidden if it were solid. This was helpful when I was doing the fillets, I didn't have to maneuver the sketch as much. I'm still not very good with the orbit stuff. But, I can see that it would be nice to turn this function off to see a less cluttered sketch. And it would look like your screen so I'd know I've come to the same place you have.
How do I do this? Hopefully it's something really basic, but I haven't been able to discover it on my own.

Very nice basics video and while I am aware that video editing is a lot of work it would benefit from adjusting the loudness of the audio when you are in your workshop.

How about covering using Fusion 360 to create molds for making urethane parts using 2 part resin?
Hi Lars I love the video's, Does this series get into drafting for plastic parts? Thats something I'm struggling with in Fusion
To be frank, the drafting capability in Fusion is terrible compared to pretty much any other standard mid-range 3D CAD modeler out there. This is really holding me back from adoption! have posted as such on Fusion's feature request but guessing it is way down the line. The work-arounds necessary to get any kind of draft other than the basic type offered are way too cumbersome. Otherwise, Fusion is awesome. BTW, Injection molding as a manufacturing method is NOT going away anytime soon... if you need more than a few thousand parts, it gets very economical, and once above a few hundred thousand and your crazy not to injection mold. Gah... I could rant on! C'mon Autodesk! give Fusion drafting power!
So I work in Aluminum die cast now. There is no information on the design of die cast. Any suggestions you big teddy bear.

Sound quality is something I constantly are trying to improve
@@cadcamstuff the echo wasn't bothering me. The sound volume was. I had to turn the video off at 10 minutes, because the audio during the screen capture was low and the cuts to you talking was so loud my ears were about to start bleeding.

We can't deform with total control. You might want to look at something like the sculpt workspace if you are looking to flex things

I will have to look for it. You should be able to use any svg file. Try to search free svg on google and you should get all kinds of pretty stuff.

Hello Lars How a re doing ? I hope fine. I had a problem cow this job, everything was ok until I had to make the rouded are at the end of the job using Project lines , so far I made every detail as the videio tells but I havent been able to selec the lines after i am in project. Everything look good ,but when I press" Q " it does not allow to get the inner part that I created, only the outter planes, I have no idea if it ids the right channel to reach you ,sorry , or if any one can give a help a I appreciate to much.

Hello Lars. I've been watching your videos and your basics are not my basics. I have been trying to draw a simple padeye with a 1/2" hole in the upright from the base and the base with 2ea 1/4" holes (witch, I can do that).... Padeye like a Tee. Can you direct me to a video or do a video that would make me understand the 3d planes needed to complete this task. Basic flat metal 4x3 with a piece of metal from the center up with a hole in it.
