  • Joshua Johns, now 12, of Stafford, can be seen lying in a hospital bed 'snow white', bald and unable to walk while being treated for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Four years later, Josh, who endured years of grueling treatment that left him dependent on a wheelchair and caused his weight to plummet, celebrated his last ever chemo session with a sign saying he 'kicked cancer's butt'. He finally got the all-clear on July 11 last year. Now at secondary school, the youngster is fit and well, and hopes to one day be a doctor. Josh is pictured inset with his mother Nikki Johns, 48, on March 22 2014. He was forced to have a feeding tube inserted into his nose after chemotherapy caused him to lose a huge amount of weight.
