I enjoyed that trip even with the setbacks. You touched on all the important aspects.. Especially the dogs, and the drone, and the food, and the rack and pinion, and the scenery. I sincerely enjoyed that. Great job.
I have been following your channel for a about a month now and I want to say your videos are really well done and I appreciate them very much. Its and escape for me after work to watch them and think about my next camping trip and trips I have already taken. I love the the White Mountains its my favorite camping, fishing and soon hunting location. I like to camp on the East fork of the Black River and fish the river and Big Lake but I also like the Rez too.
This comment is exactly what I’m making content for. I want you and all my other subs to enjoy it, sit back and get a piece of the outdoors from your home. I appreciate the support a lot, this is what helps me continue to motivate and make more!
Absolutely beautiful country. Sure does bite to have a mechanical issue limit an adventure. Great video and hoping you get the fix done and back in the woods.
Really like the meadows. I've been looking at and visiting different high elevation towns in the west to buy a home before it gets too expensive. Basically if there's trees and a walmart its above my price range sadly. Lakeside seems to be the exception. With greer alpine and sunrise a short drive away it seems like a no brainer. You did a great job showcasing the area.
The area between nutrioso and alpine is my favorite place in the whole state. When I was growing up you could buy an acre for less than $500 in that area but price have gone way up. My family has 20 acres and a cabin that sits on the edge of Luna lake, it’s been in my family for about 70 years. Such a cool area. Thank you for watching!
Love the videos man. Hope you get the steering rack sorted out quickly. Bummer about the drone crash twice in a row. Exactly why I’m afraid to spend that much on a drone. 😆
It’s a big bummer but you know how it goes. As far as drone repair, losing it is one thing but it’s super cheap to send it back to DJI to get fixed this last crash is only going to cost me maybe $15 in parts!
@@Whitedogoverland wow that’s a good move. That’s super cheap. I crashed mine and the gimble is barely hanging on but at $300 I’m just buy another one and use the one that’s falling apart for rain and snow. Been wanting to fly in rain and snow 🤩
@@Whitedogoverland that’s insane honestly. That’s great service. Might have to do that once my gimble starts hanging. I’ll use some super glue for the meantime lol
So sorry your ride pooped out on you. Been there done that!! Just part of the trips. If its not one thing it will be another. Enjoyed the scenery. Looking forward to the next adventure. 3:48
Rt 191 - a.k.a. 666 Devil's Highway, Coronado Trail. First time on the Harley,,,, was 30+ minutes behind my friends by the time I hit Morenci. Average speed of 47 in the Z06 couple summers ago. was hitting those lakes, roads, Blue Range backpacking when you were a gleam in Daddy's eye. Great shot, sorry about the rig troubles.
Great videos amigo! I really enjoy them! AZ native myself and Tucson liver. Hope to see you on the trail someday. I really like the meal shots you do and the drone stuff is great! Keep putting stuff out, I’ll keep watching. Joe.
Man, loosing power steering in a Tundra, I could feel your frustration through the video. Traveled through Apache-Sitegraves NF right at the beginning of COVID in March. Battled snow drifts, hiked the Black River(at least as much as I could). Not a soul around only Elk, Bear, Coyotes, Antelope and Deer. I was warned that I should not enter reservation land for it was closed to all recreational activities even to tribal members. So I never made it to Big or Reservation Lake. Such unspoiled immaculate beauty in that area…. I need to go back.
Man was it frustrating. The white mountains covered in snow is something else, haven’t been up there in many years in the winter time but the summers are pretty bad as far as getting away from people. Big lake and reservation are loaded these days.
I'm finalizing a deal on some property in Conch Arizona, which is pretty close to your overlanding trip location ? I'm happy to see there are some great spots to camp out that's not filled with RVs and Razors and people of course. Looking forward to visiting those same areas, oh and how could you forget a fishing pole? And also do you need a tribal permit to go and camp on tribal land? Take care. Hawk out!!
I’m planning on overland camping. What’s a good two person truck bed tent for my dodge ram. I don’t need top of the line. I’ll probably use it ten times a year at most for weekends
Be sure to check for used, there are some great deals out there. I got mine for $500 and was in great shape. I use it a couple times a year and am happy with that deal, at 10x a year it'd be a steal.
What month were you guys here. MY wife were there around May 10 2023 perfect time no people and cold night we camped at Rolfe C. Hoyer Campground Apache NF over by Greer.
Bro fell out of a tree and ate shit, y’all better like this video! Awesome video dude. Firewood shot was cool. Get that rig fixed and give us another video. And scroll through YT on how to fly a drone lol
On the white mountain apache reservation the only permit needed is for rec activities like camp, fishing and certain hiking trails. I know you need a vehicle pass for parking overnight but as far as sight seeing I’m not sure. I have a yearly Apache fishing pass so maybe that covers all
@@Whitedogoverland correct but that rec permit is also for trails. No joke man, I was stopped for it just off the 300. A $9 permit that ended up costing me $150. Ticketed for not having a rec permit

I don't think it's your rack. I had the same issue and it was the U joint in my steering shaft. I just cameback from the Grand Canyon. I had to have my Tundra shipped home from Neb because my head gasket failed, I am having my engine replaced.
@@Whitedogoverland Sorry my mistake I just thought it was something else. I didn’t have time to watch the whole video. But I was just thinking that Toyotas are known for power steering issues with high mileage

Beautiful footage never seen that part of Arizona! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Love this part of AZ and still have a lot to explore. The sticker "Your mom sucks at overloading" had me laughing.

Endless public lands and big mountains. Can’t beat!

I bet that’s a fun one on a bike. Hell of a highway but it saves a lot of time heading south rather than jumping on the 60. Far less cops and traffic!
That part of Arizona is beautiful. Hope you get your truck fixed ok. Would love to see more videos from this spot.
Hoping to get this thing back up in the next week and head right back!

Awesome video!Would you be willing to add the Novsight offroad Equipment for your adventure?😉😆😎
Might need to spring for a drone with obstacle avoidance 😆
You’d think even the air 2s being all of $1400 would come with side sensors!
I need to explore more east..amazing video 🤙
It’s incredible out that way. Most stick to the rim and flag this time of year leaving the eastern part of the state alone!

if you turn your steering all the way and hold it, it will blow out your pump seals and cause other issues
I’ve heard that. I think running big tires on a stock rack does them in pretty quickly
Man that's a tough drive even when the steering is working.
No power steering = bigger forearms haha
