Hi Subha Nice video really appreciate your efforts. A tip given by a gujarati friend to make soft chapati - after adding salt and mixing with flour add a little oil and mix before adding water - no need to add hot water or milk. Finally add a little oil. Do try and let other viewers know about this. God bless you and family. Vidhya
Actually this is suitable for only poori…..for fast pressing during poori making this will help u a lot….Yaa for chapathi it ll come thicker which few people like it in north village sides not our south indians 😊
Do u still have it or returned,it's usually pressed thrice centre, move a little to left n press then move to right n press, then big chapathi is formed...n ur dough is right for poori, for chapathi even more softer dough is needed..either rest the dough or add little more water n knead..plain water is enough, for next day storage, incase u store..if u have kept the press, how's it now
This is new for you not for others... Even my mom used it when I was a kid..after sometime we ll feel that what we make normally is better ... You ll experience the same too
hand made chapathi is very good and you put it on thava then turn it back put it on the thava then once again turn it then add oil after that put it in hot pack and close it this will give soft chapathi
Madam I have also got one chapathy maker. We r not using that paper down znd up chappaty mavu. Why do u use that nice paper? We directly press the wheat mavu firectly. I should appreciate your HONESTY in down grading the quality of this product
Thanks for true review.. .iam tired of making by hand ,so I thought to buy any maker but I feel hand maker is the best to get soft chapathi after ur reviews.
Thanks for review i like your review... Felt like genuine review... Im a mother to 2 months baby.. To reduce work load.. I thought to buy a roti presser..after seeing your review... Im in little bit of dailama(confusion) wheather to buy or not.. Anybody Plz help me to clear my doubt..
Do not usevoil at all, but knead it for at least 20 minutes by keeping on stretching so it will release gluten.. if you use the machine take less dough it will be thin.
Hi, I recently bought a chapati presser that looks exactly like this but it's not spreading as big or as thin as this. It's not expanding beyond the size of my palm What am I doing wrong ?

If it is thick, just put a cardboard piece cutout to roti size on top of the baking sheets and press. It makes rotis thinner
