    You two have nailed it with this adventurous tour! Caracol reminds me of pyramids in Egypt but blended with green, there is a lot of familiarities! The waterfalls seems so much to experience too. Making chocolate is something I would love to try one day! How fun! Thanks for the suggestions on the food spots, as you know we love exploring different types of food! OMG Iguanas! I can't believe you played with them!

      Yes this tour really made us appreciate iguanas so much more. Such gentle creatures. We can’t wait to see the pyramids in Egypt. Hopefully next year!

    I've been searching high and low on the internet for a great video to watch, and let me tell you, your video and tour guide completely captivated me. Everything was spot-on, and I even picked up some valuable insights along the way. Whenever I wanted to see something, the camera was right there, capturing all the right moments. 10/10. Thank you!

    Its really beautiful to see y'all ancient people of the Americas enjoying y'all culture, all Aboriginal Americans (African-Americans aint African) should visit their ancient lands. The Seminole tribe are in-fact ancient Mayan, Yamasee tribe in Southern Alabama and Mississippi is Mayan also, we are ("Black" Americans) the ancient ones of the Americas. When we look upon the faces of the Belizean dark ppl those are the Mayan ppl, ancient relatives of southern and east coast Aboriginal Americans aka Black Folks (Maya-Mi=Miami, Miamisburg, Ohio (Look it up Ancient Mayan ruins in Ohio its in 'the Hood', Look up Maya Rd, Miami, FL). Awesome video, great itinerary.....!!!!!!! Thank You.

    This looked like such a fun adventure! Love the way you shared the history as well as your experiences, crazy the way human sacrifices were made in that part of the world.
    The waterfall swim looked really fun but yes those tours are pricey, glad to see alternative options.
    The food looked so good and affordable 😋We love the umbrella hack too, great for rain or shine! The lizard on your hat was adorable!🦎

    Oooh, chocolate making! I’d love to do that! Especially the tasting part of the tour 😅
    The food and drinks at guava limb looks amazing!!!
    Eeek, 40 minutes to use the atm 😳 people must be super patient over there 😅
    Yup, that Ferry sure is unique!
    The views from up at the ruins are incredible!

      Yes, they were quite patient and were not surprised at all by the ATM lines. It was normal for them, but it made me realize some of conveniences I take for granted in my regular life. Access to hundreds of ATMS is not the case every where.

      It provides shuttles across the border and shuttles after the border to the Mayan ruins in Guatemala and then to a local restaurant and shuttles back across the border to Belize

    Was there an alternative to hiking that 1 mile straight up? I mean was there any taxi, bus, golf cart?

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  2 месяца назад

      Yes, you can hire a taxi in town to take you all the way there. If you take the bus, there are no other options, no golf cart up, you have to walk the full mile.

    We are thinking of having our hotel, Cahal Pech Village Resort, pick us up from the airport. The cost for the 2 of us is quoted as $112.50. That seems pretty steep, but the convenience could be worth it. We are contemplating returning to Belize City via a cheaper route (bus?). Do you have any tips or logistical considerations? We will be connecting with water taxi to get to Caye Caulker.

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  9 месяцев назад

      Yes, that’s about right for a 2 hour taxi ride. We took the bus without any terrible and your hotel can tell you where to catch the bus. It’s a 15 minute walk from the bus station to the Belize Water taxi. You can use Google Maps to walk there or take a taxi.

    Please let me know how many days do you suggest to stay in San Ignacio (4-5 days maybemore) because I want explore another place
    Thank you

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  Год назад +1

      It all depends on how many day trips you want to do. 4 days in good to arrive, explore the town, ATM Cave, Xunantunich, and Caracol.

  • @H-bv1xt
    @H-bv1xt 2 месяца назад

    What time of the year did you go? Was it really hot? How many day do you recommend?

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  2 месяца назад

      This was in June. How long you stay depends on how many tours you want to do. I’d say a full day for the ATM Cave, a full day for Xunantunich and other sights close to town. The Caracol tour is nice but optional. So 3-4 nights depending on the excursions you choose.
