Love the engineers who decided to put the starter under the intake...

How do you crank the engine to release fuel pressure when the whole reason you’re doing this job is to replace the starter 😮

Did this on my 2010 Armada. There is no need to remove the fuel line nor the booster line; save time and money. Both lines have enough slack and so you can lay the intake sideways to the right.

I'm forever grateful for this channel. This helped me tons today. I followed every step and things went well. The two bolts on the starter did take some effort. I sprayed some WD-40 around the screws, then used a swivel breaker bar that was enough to fit inside. I did have to hammer the bar on one to break the screw. It took about 4 hours to complete the entire job. Now my truck is better than ever! Thank you!

I remember on my 1965 Ford Ranchero it took me about 30 minutes to change the starter. Cost for the rebuilt starter was $19.95, the same price for rebuilt alternator or generator as well.

I watch a lot of RUclips How To videos. Your video was very easy to follow and understand. The starter in the Buy The Part link is different for the 2010 Titan. Thank you for the good video.

How did you break the last 2 bolts free from the starter. I got all the way to this part couldn't break the bolts loose and had to put back everything because I had to go to work the next day. I was so frustrated

One very important thing to do BEFORE installing the new starter. Test it on the bench. Some times you get a new syarter that is DOA and you dont realize until you put everything back together and youre screwed. Have to do the entire job all over again.
You can ask the parts store to test it also before you leave the store.

So the starter in the link under the description will 100% fit in a 07 titan? Been having trouble with others having to be before or after a certain manufacturer date so I’m not sure.

Maybe disconnect battery before replacing the fuse so someone doesn't turn the key and repressurize the fuel?
