Yes,the grey darkening.that time at dusk...and maybe that tiny lift.Lovely to see such bright fish.
On a serious note do you offer "guided" days on Tay.I really should find a couple of days next summer,late spring to come and swim the fly

Hi Simon, it's a great time of night. Saved a few blanks in that last hour or so. I do the odd day on the River, not too much. Stay in touch and we'll sort something out. The end of June is quite a good time of year for us.👍

i fished the Coquet (north east England just below the Tweed). i blanked for 4 years had follows and takes and thrown hooks but kept the enthusiasm ... just
because it was beautiful! then i had 4 fish in under an hour ... 3 salmon ( all returned )and the prize ...a 9 pound sea trout which i kept. now im older i might have another go!
