Scenario played out in realistic fashion then. Cry racism and wail Is lamb ophobia to shield against well founded suspicions and repel well merited investigations
The problem with the current activists masquerading as "writers" is that they are highly insecure. They either delete the men or make them jerks and expect men (who form majority of superhero genre audience) to take their girlboss seriously. That's not how it works. You don't see such level of insecurity from male writers or sensible non woke female writers. In a male superhero character centric movies, there will also be a strong female character who will be surely fan favorite. For e.g. I am yet to see Black Widow hater in avengers or someone who hates Sarah Conner or Ripley or Scarlett witch aka Wanda. The reason ? None of them are Mary Sue with no backstory or dark side.
We don't mind good female characters. Look at avatar, toph, katara azula, all great characters. And azula is a girl boss, but obviously flawed, and you can even kinda feel bad for her by the end. Now that's good writing.

@@Kevin_Doval Nah you just have rose tinted glasses on. LoK is easily better than ATLA. You watched ATLA as a kid and don't realize how bad it was. See, you didn't see the real world philosophies being played out. Amon was low key spitting facts. Hell, each season's bad guy was low key spitting facts except maybe season 2. Fire lord ozai was just generic bad guy because the story needed a bad guy. I have no idea how you can say Korra was a bad character but act like Aang was any better. Aan was an annoying doofus that spent the early parts of the show trying to goof off while the world burned. Do you genuinely not understand how the sequel hits the same character beats? It doesn't repeat but it does rhyme. Aang learns to grow up and take things seriously and he struggled with bending earth. Kora is over confident and needs to stop being so brash and she struggles with bending air. You can't talk about being objective while saying one is better than the other. You are tipping your hand that you are confusing your subjective whims with objectivity. I am being objective when I talk about the shows and I am happy to go into intricate detail on each season's arc and the philosophy each antagonist espoused and how each one was a deeper character than Ozai.I am guessing you have no college under your belt and you have no interest in either history, philosophy, geopolitics or psychology because if you did, you would have been thoroughly engrossed in LoK as I was. I say that because there is NONE of that in ATLA. You sound like JJ Abrams when he did his remake of star trek and was like "yea i dunno, start trek always came off as philosophical...so I stayed away from that" which is to say, he completely misunderstood star trek and then made something that wasn't star trek because yes, star trek IS philosophical at its core. You just "aren't playing at the varsity level" mentally and thus the story elements that make LoK so amazing just flew over your head.
idk, Legolas had no flaws, but he was amazing. It depends on the story and a character's place in it. Writing still matters a lot, no matter who the character is.
@@TabalugaDragon Legolas was a side character, just along for the ride with the fellowship. He barely got any lines and only had meaningful interactions with gimli and aragorn.
It's not just about telling a good story it's about honoring the source material. They have diverted from the source material for going in a completely different direction just to satisfy fans that didn't exist from the beginning.
The problem goes much deeper than that, they have been failing in the technical department as well, they failed at the spectacles, choreography and the special effects, a good story is only going to give future movie a mere passing grade.
No ones cares about “source material” my guy. When was the last time you bought a comic book? The average comic book enjoyer is 45 to 50 years old. It’s a medium younger audience really don’t care about. Especially because those few that are still within the comic industry are just as work as Hollywood.
@@Bcuzieatiron well that's a bunch of bullshit. I'm 21 years old and to this day I still read dad's old Batman comics he bought back in the day. Hell, to this day I buy comics every now and again.
Captain Marvel’s power level is ridiculous. Seeing her single handedly take down Ronin the Destroyer’s ship was not awe inspiring, it felt cheap. Why would there ever be any stakes if Captain Marvel can just go super saiyan with no restrictions?
Remember in endgame right before the massive strong female charge? She’s literally holding the gauntlet! But rather than have this new super special awesome character make the snap and validating her inclusion in the series let’s have the normal guy do it
Unfortunately, all of these problems are intentional. They tell the directors/writers to not read any source material before making the slop they put out.
EXACTLY! The MCU was born because of the Outstanding Character driven story of Tony Stark in Iron Man! And every single success has followed a similar path. Characters growing to overcome their weaknesses and flaws, which make for engaging and compelling stories. But with almost every recent Female character, they are Perfect from the start.
Perfect example of why people have to stop with the "respect the source material." There's a ton of shit in the comics that bad actors can point to and say "it's from the comics."
When Cap4 fails, the door is open for Blade & Shang-Chi 2 to be cancelled (if not already). Sam L Jackson will age out the Nick Fury role & D. Cheadle doesn’t have the star power for an Armor Wars Blockbuster film. Most of that problematic diversity will be gone. Should celebrate.
@@BlimpCityFeeder I gotta defend Shang Chi. It was not a bad movie compared to these newer phase 5 movies. For a smaller scale movie, it didnt out Shang Chi as someone better than the older superheroes that came before him type movie like Captain Marvel or Black Panther 2/ Eternals, it sure may have showed a diversity but not in the way of ruining the movies experience since we know its a kung fu and martial arts movie which we also havent gotten in a long time. It just brought us to a new side of the MCU and opened up more of the universe. Besides bringing in more asian fans there were still quite the number of caucasian fans 55% that came to see it than asian fans 10% at around making up the fans. And even with the larger fan base being heavily white, the movie was still a success to fans because it had a pretty good story. Id say Shang Chi was one of the ONLY successful Diversity based marvel movies and for a few reasons, it didnt outright make the cast hate on its white male fans, it didnt make asians be better and mainly, because it focused on just its small story between how a father wrecked his relationship with his family which we can all relate to.
@BlimpCityFeeder I got to say that I loved Shang Chi , it wasn't the best ever ,but it was a decent story and had great fight scenes , Blade and probably Moon Knight is the only projects besides Deadpool 3 that I'm looking forward too and I hope Marvel doesn't fuck it up
There is nothing u can do for captain marvel. She has no weakness. She can beat up anyone and everyone. Nobody can make an interesting story out of that.
The actors are sick of the reshoots and lack of creativity. They're sick of the fans being sick of the movies and, by extension, sick of the actors the fans see. But actors are the problems too, being cast illegally and immorally based on political affiliation and belief systems. The actors are problems because many of them have taken their political views to the public. They're not just actors - they'd be okay as actors - now they're activists instead. I'll never invest to see Bree Larson, Tatiana She-Hulk girl, Rachel Zegler, or pretty much anyone associated with Disney ever again. The 'tree' is diseased from its roots (Bob Iger, Kathlene Kennedy) to the trunk (writers, producers) to the branches (actors) to the fruit (shows and movies). The tree will surely die if it is not pruned and new branches grafted in.
When I saw the title "She-Hulk Attorney At Law," I was expecting a Marvel-Law and Order that could have possibly explored the Sokovia Accords in a post-Thanos era. What we got was a woke, poorly developed character who honestly thinks that enduring catcalling is infinitely more courageous than becoming the Hulk. I was like, "Who approved this nonsense?"
@@kicknowledgesmith8608 If I walked up to my boss and kindly asked for $300 million USD so could troll our customer base that has loyally bankrolled the last 15 years of projects because they disagree with world view... he 1.) laugh me out of his office and 2.) ensure I'm no longer employed. The fact someone felt comfortable enough to say that to the media, speaks volumes about the mismanagement going on.
@@kicknowledgesmith8608😂 she had more then one good run. The John Byrne era did well and Dan Slott had two volumes and the current Rainbow Rowell run is still going strong. Disney nerfed the charcter in the comics she’s much more likable and written as with human emotions in compared to the SHAAL version
Black Widow is another example. Audiences love the character from everything prior to the stand alone movie. And she doesn't even have any super powers. She's human. But wait...here comes the stand alone movie and it pretty much sucked. The release was ruined due to Covid, but that was probably a blessing, as it would've tanked like many of the other female lead films. Marvel demographics are identical to Star Wars. 65% male and 75% white. And Disney is absolutely doing everything possible to alienate that core audience...because they know better than we do what we should like to watch. The women and people of color are not showing up to watch your movies. Not at all. And you pissed off your core audience. Bravo Disney. Bravo.
Imagine having Scarlett Johansson on a contract for so many years, wanting to make a female-led film, and not ever giving her a solo film about Black Widow…. Absolutely terrible decisions were made by these studios. They deserve to lose every cent for the fuckery they inserted themselves into.
Damn I was gonna say that men of color still watch these movies without wishing to see ourselves in these movies even if its nice. But I just did the research on the demographics and no wonder Marvel is tanking now. They really are alienating the majority fanbase which is white males. I didnt even know my race of asians made up less than 5% of the fans. Yea then you right. I didnt even realize im one of the very few comic Gen Z fans out there. Everyone else is a millenial and older generation
You forget Japon or China, a vast majority is white in Japan and China. Their logic is "minorities must feel represented" in order to see their movies but the core audience no? Somewhere they were right. They lost a great part of the core audience with their high dose diversity. But their movies often suck with their ideology (racism, misandry, etc..) and laziness (swapping everywhere) so they don't gain minorities audience however. It's a total failure.
I'm a hispanic dude. It's fucking wild to me how "diversity" is almost always just black characters or women. The largest "minority" demographic isn't inclusive enough 😂
Tbh, I didn't dislike Hawkeye or Kate Bishop. I mean, remember the context, they had basically just launched Disney plus, needed some content, and as far as a first series goes, it wasn't terrible...well, as long as it was the starting point and learning opportunity for the next series. Except they removed anything and everything decent about it and tripled down on what was wrong. Simplest example: Kate's fangirling over Hawkeye stems from being rescued by him when she was a child, so, to that end it can be at least inferred that she trained herself (wealthy family means she could afford it), to have similar skills (save maybe the different sword style, but, heck, it's still swordplay). Also she botches things. A lot. But eventually she learns AND none of this comes at the expense of emasculating Hawkeye in the process. P.S there was something of an arc for him, dealing with the aftermath of his actions as Ronin and facing Yelena and dealing with his hearing problems. Great arc? No, not really, but at least there was something. Now take Khamala's fangirling over Captain Marvel, her shallow reasoning as to why she wants to be like her, then getting her powers via mail... As the Critical Drinker would say: F off show. As for the story/character arc....was there anything there...?at all?!
Ms. Marvel: Not a show aimed at me or my age group, yet I enjoyed it more than I expected. Sure, the fan-girl being lucky enough to be special AND get a "magical item" was a bit weak, but they at least took the time to explain the why of it rather than just expect the audience to accept it without question. I liked the normal kid aspect of her character. She made mistakes. She had to practice. She had to rely on others. She wasn't written as great, she was written as, "she's OK, has promise, needs to get better." Also, I adored the family and friends aspects of the show. Was it a great show? No. Did it entertain me? Yes, it did.
@@xenomorphqueenqueenalien6501 the last episode is the reason i started the comment with "i didn't dislike" instead of "i liked". Good setup overall, but failed at the payoff side of things for Kate. Clint's arc ended logically enough.

@@xenomorphqueenqueenalien6501 technically she lost the straight up brawl, and I get the idea they wanted to win with a trick learned from her mentor. I appreciated that conceptually. But not vs a character a whole series painted him as rutheless af. Kingpin choosing to break her arrows over her body because... why?! They never showed Kingpin carring so much for Kate's mom as to justify an exception. If her final adversary was Yelena, it would work. Yelena would win in a straight fight, would not want to kill her, so it would make sense settling for just breaking the x-factor arrows.
Personally, I hate the idea of Paul Rudd suffering consequences for Ant-Man 3’s failure because he was literally the only part about that movie that was redeeming. However, someone as good as him couldn’t redeem that movie.
Ant man 3 spoilt everything that was good about the first two Ant man films, Michael Peña and the other two wombats not appearing , adorable Cassie Lang has morphed into an obnoxious teen, and that’s before we start on Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer and Bill Murray phoning it in.
Nightmare or Mephisto should’ve been the villain of a Doctor Strange 2. And Doctor Strange 2 should’ve followed both Strange and Wong throughout the entire film.
That hard truth where most fans root for S. Rogers & T. Stark but disconnect with S. Wilson, J. Rhodes and other secondary characters. The canceled projects, box office bombs speak for themselves.
Actually after Captain Mar-vell died the name was given to Monica Rambeau. At the same time Carol Danvers became Ms. Marvel. Then sometime after that Carol Danvers got the name Captain Marvel, and Monica Rambeau became Photon. In my opinion they should've started the whole Captain Marvel journey with the male version and transitioned over time in this order to give audience a chance to grow along with the characters.
They introduced Captain Marvel as "She has all the power in the universe, can one-shot the biggest threats in the MCU, and her flaw is that men have kept her down but can't keep her down!" Yeah, you can do godlike power and still have a good character. Superman's struggles with both finding the moral outcome of unwinnable situations and his goal to make humanity better give him some very interesting struggles. Just read "Whatever happened to the man of tomorrow." Black Bolt has the power to destroy anything, but can't do less than that, so he is burdened by the weight and guilt of his own power. Give Captain Marvel something like that, and don't make her way to overcome it being "She's just gotta realize how awesome she is" and you'd have an infinitely more interesting character without having to change hardly anything.
There is only one female character that is practically perfect in every way -- Mary Poppins. Disney completely overlooked that. Was Mary Poppins perfect? No. Another lesson lost on Disney.
Spot on man! I have NEVER heard anyone say anything bad about Black widow (Scarlet) in the universe. The only thing i HATE about her arc is that she did not get her own movie a long time ago!
The same people are in the same positions, i dont think much will change, but lets hope! If not, ill save my money lol firing 1 director just seems like a PR public execution move. Nothing more than a trick.
Telling the majority of your audience “this isn’t for you and you’re the bad guy, but you still have to watch this” makes those people not want to watch it. Then blaming the offended group for it failing… mental gymnastics.
Disney "The only reason you hate Monica Rambose is because she's black" The fans "Then why are we so pissed about how you ruined Nick Fury?" Disney "Then its because she's a woman" The fans "Then why do we love Black Widow, Pepper Pots, and Hawkeye's wife?" Disney "ITS BECAUSE YOU'RE TOXIC!" The fans "Keep telling yourself that." ...4 years later Disney "Okay, we get it."
The MCU just needs to stop now. We’re tired of shared universes and multiverses and having to watch everything to understand everything. We just want good stories. We don’t have to have every movie and show to all be set in the same big continuity to have good storytelling. Joker, Logan, and The Batman are perfect examples.
This isn’t a good sign. This means they’re just gonna keep dangling keys on front of our faces until the property dies, just like what happened with Star Wars
Brie the actress herself in interviews comes of arrogant and an entitled feminist activist and very unlikeable in her interviews with the press. The character of Captain Marvel is badly written and does not really interact well with the Avengers, also being too perfect without apparent flaws in powers. Tons of personality flaws though.
Disney hasn't reached rock bottom. They've buried themselves deeper than the rock at the deepest debt of the ocean, and are desperate to get out of their own grave.
I can't believe that Kevin Feige , the person behind all those great marvel projects in the past can't see far enough to know that an Eternals sequel would flop.
I've said it many times RESPECT THE SOURCE MATERIAL comic book movies can make big money there's ton of great stories in the comics stop the activism and rainbow nonsense and the pandering. The same with Star Wars. Respect the source material.
I rewrote captain marvel was a nova core member who got her powers from the power stone, but it was so much power she hurt others. And she had to develop her powers while Xadar was destroyed and that’s why she shows up at the end of end game.
Steps in creating a hero: 1. Make the hero fallible; 2. Don’t demonize the villain but give them a reason why they are the way they are; 3. Don’t overpower the hero; 4. Action scenes should be realistic (Echo was ridiculously unrealistic) and wasted a great villain; 5. Balance dialogue and the director needs to actually know what they’re doing; 6. Diversity is fine but everyone needs to have a reason to be in the story besides color or gender; 7. Good writing that develops characters is essential and there is no need to race swap or gender swap old beloved characters since 60% of the audience aren’t buying comic books anyway so just come up with new ones and develop them. It ain’t that hard.
Seeing some of these clips, I know this is a bit off-topic, but how do they manage such terrible CGI? Those Dr. Strange clips are insane. I remember enjoying the first one especially with the visuals. Haven't seen the second one but in clips and it's just kind of mind-boggling. Memory could serve wrong though. Thanks for the video Jesse
It's not about having strong female characters, it's about having completely perfect and flawless female characters, who don't take the hero's journey of learning to overcome themselves in order to master their demons, we don't like that they're made to be superior, instead of equal, to the male characters and make them look like complete idiots; instead of being given flaws, they're ALREADY perfect and that makes them arrogant; what we don't like is this female, DEI empowerment, shoved in our faces; we also don't like how Disney is acting like we're required, by law, to actually care about their message, calling us, the fans, "toxic", for not liking. Speaking of the story, they clearly believe a PERFECT female character and strong diversity, is what makes a good story; what they don't understand or don't care (I suspect the latter is more obvious), is that the fans, NEVER asked for this and they ignore our wishes in favor of the "message", they want to send.
That flashback was really interesting. I've checked out of the MCU after trying to watch "Avengers 2" three times and falling asleep three times. Never watched anything that came after that.
The problem is movie characters were meant to inspire us to do more, now they are meant to validate us just as we are. They traded innovation for validation
I'm assuming this is more about the proxy battle and being held accountable for the company's downward trajectory than it is about actually course correcting. They're more interested in ESG benefits than they are about customer satisfaction.
Another great video bro It does not feel like there is any redemption. The only people interested are the ones who were happy with the crappy films, and they are happy with the crappy films. I assume they do not know better
What about the time Disney capitalized on Chadwick Boseman‘s death. Trying to cash in on a dead man’s tribute for money. To hell with Disney and the bigotry.
Bro She-Hulk absolutely does NOT suck in the comics. I don't know what comics you read but she is a great character in the comics. The live action version on the other hand is completely atrocious and is nothing like Jennifer Walters at all.
The first few episodes were interesting but once it was clear what was happening it went down hill. The whole she's a woman so no matter what she does is ok story line was stupid and should have never happened.
Well said, all. But now is the time of reconciliation. Poor sales for years and dramatic backlash from fans is causing a sea-change in Hollywood--and that's a good thing.
I am on the same side of the fence with this too. I actually like Ms marvel and Captain Marvel as characters within Marvel as a whole and have no issue with them being characters within the MCU. In fact I don't think anyone has any issue with either of them being in the MCU. The issue we all have is the way it has been forced and the narrative based agenda behind how these characters are implemented into the MCU. This is probably the politest way of putting it. I just want Marvel to be excellent again and I hope this will be a turning point for when the X-Men finally do arrive because messing up the X-Men is end game and Disney clearly know this.
I 100% agree with your ENTIRE video. It’s a shame, because I’m sure a lot of DEI hires (especially writers and directors) will lose their jobs. I don’t support DEI hiring…. But if you’re gonna try it…. You’ve got to mentor them for a while (probably by an old white guy in that department)…. Before you throw them into the fire. Girl bosses and black girl magic are NOT a real thing…. I’ve been to these sets; these guys (from the grip to the director) work decades to master their respective crafts…. It is NOT easy.
I thought about making a drawing of the male Captain Mar-Vell, Carol Danvers in the her Black Ms Marvel costume, The Blonde Valkery, Nick Fury from WWII and Monica Rambeau in her Captain Marvel suit from the 80s sitting in a theater watching the Marvels and as Valkery says WTF are we watching, the others concur except Monica who says "I like it"😊
I don't care black/white/female/male/gay/trans/race etc... so long as it serves the story and characters and not gratuitous. Story comes first, always. Disney lost the plot and deservedly the $$$ and respect of fans.
It's interesting you complain Wanda wasn't made into a villiain in wandavision, when they do everything you asked for in dr. strange 2 (except for the redemption thing). It's true wandavision didn't do the entire story of wanda becoming evil on it's own, but why did it need to? Wandavision set the stage and dr. strange 2 completed that story. In some cases it's more proper to set story arcs across longer period of time, and the MCU is known for that as well, they do that often. As for captain marvel not having a struggle that is needed for a hero- there are other heroes in the MCU like that as well: Captain america- his struggle is to get into the army, that's it. And once he gets his powers he's a perfact character too, just like captain marvel. Antman- does't have any demons, he went into jail but not for something dark that scarred him, he doesn't regret it. His biggest struggle is custody over his daughter. I wanna make it clear, I hate lazy writing and preaching messages in movies as well, but not EVERYTHING is pandering. It seems unfair to call out captain marvel for this under the argument they wrote her poorly cuz she's a woman and that was the selling point, when there are other characters that are similar.
Nice vid but don’t know why Iman Vellani’s photo was used for the thumbnail as she’s one of the few in the bunch who isn’t trash, has an interesting character who isn’t an annoying girlboss and isn’t overly political in interviews. So it kinda bothers me that one of the few people the MCU should actually keep is the main picture on the video.
I really hope all this bs in Hollywood blows over soon...I miss looking forward to taking my wife to the movies . We used to consider it a real option on date nights...now it's just not entertaining, good movies are so far and few between these days you dont go to theatres anymore for fear of disappointment.
No iron heart unless they make her inspired by ironman. Which IS HOW ITS SUPPOSE TO BE. idk if i missed it but i saw nothing to suggest Riri was inspired by iron man.
I think shows like echo and Miss Marvel were also hurt by the fact that the studio had so little confidence in the characters, they decided to change their powers from the comics it shows that they only wanted to utilize these characters for the boxes they would tick and not because they thought people would enjoy their stories.
Jesse is young and naive. Disney is DOUBLING DOWN not reversing course. They ditched the utter failures but think they can fool us, all the real failures begin with Igner, not the underlings!

I absolutely disagree with Hawkeye. That's how to bring in a new character. Hawkeye has no super power. His body is broken. But he was still great and Kate Bishop needed him to train her, show her values. That was an incredible good hand over.

I'll believe it when I see it.
Yeah we’ll have to see
Too much money is being fed to these companies- the agenda will continue.
A perfect character is a flawed character.
A character with no flaws is a fully flawed boring character people can't relate to.
A perfect character is a non-character.
idk, Legolas had no flaws, but he was amazing. It depends on the story and a character's place in it. Writing still matters a lot, no matter who the character is.
@@TabalugaDragon Legolas was a side character, just along for the ride with the fellowship. He barely got any lines and only had meaningful interactions with gimli and aragorn.
@@origami83 that's why I said it depends on a character's place.

the new diverse heroes, behave like villains, not like heroes...
You hit the nail on its head!!!
Disney, are you listening. You do that and all your problems are over!!!
@@Bcuzieatiron well that's a bunch of bullshit. I'm 21 years old and to this day I still read dad's old Batman comics he bought back in the day. Hell, to this day I buy comics every now and again.
The majority of the issue is the good story tho.
Captain Marvel’s power level is ridiculous.
Seeing her single handedly take down Ronin the Destroyer’s ship was not awe inspiring, it felt cheap. Why would there ever be any stakes if Captain Marvel can just go super saiyan with no restrictions?
It's a feminist power fantasy
Who the hell is Ronin the Destroyer? A mixture of Hawkeye and Drax? Or did you actually mean Ronan the Accuser?
Remember in endgame right before the massive strong female charge? She’s literally holding the gauntlet! But rather than have this new super special awesome character make the snap and validating her inclusion in the series let’s have the normal guy do it
@@DanCoder-h2ushe and her writers should have validated her before Endgame in her movie , Endgame was the farewell to the MCUs goat Tony Stark
I cannot imagine giving disney a single dollar ever again. And I have 2 young children.
No worries. They'll survive
Unfortunately, all of these problems are intentional. They tell the directors/writers to not read any source material before making the slop they put out.
We want Tony Stark, not Ree Ree Williams!
EXACTLY!
The MCU was born because of the Outstanding Character driven story of Tony Stark in Iron Man! And every single success has followed a similar path. Characters growing to overcome their weaknesses and flaws, which make for engaging and compelling stories. But with almost every recent Female character, they are Perfect from the start.
We want Harley Keener not Ree Ree Williams
Perfect example of why people have to stop with the "respect the source material." There's a ton of shit in the comics that bad actors can point to and say "it's from the comics."
@la_scrittice_vita you've never read any caption marvel comics have you? There literally all bad except the original Male mar-vell comics
@la_scrittice_vita yeah ,they literally made Ms Marvel from a failed comic
They’ve been shovelling diversity into these movies with all the subtlety of a car crash and this has been a long time coming
@BlimpCityFeeder I got to say that I loved Shang Chi , it wasn't the best ever ,but it was a decent story and had great fight scenes , Blade and probably Moon Knight is the only projects besides Deadpool 3 that I'm looking forward too and I hope Marvel doesn't fuck it up
Michael Myers, Dewey Riley and Judy Hicks, John Connor, and Joel are other examples of ruined legacy characters in recent time.
I personally thank you for your service debunking these terrible movies
Ahahaha thanks man!
South Park - “Put a diverse woman in it and make it lame!”
I find 100 times more entertainment from youtubers like you then any hollywood movie pretty much for the past 10 years
There is nothing u can do for captain marvel. She has no weakness. She can beat up anyone and everyone. Nobody can make an interesting story out of that.
she has no home, no mythology, she's just there.
One Punch Woman... except insufferable instead of lackadaisical.
She is like that in the comics too, a wooden girl boss. Brie's stale acting makes her potrayal extremely comic accurate
@@MrShadowSmithI was about to defend Brie until I remembered she doesn't care what men think of her movies. So she can get fucked
I don't think the actors are the problem, I think the writers and team behind terrible scripts are more to blame.
She hulk doesn't suck in the comics bro. Disney just ruined her
She does suck in the comics, she had like 1 good run in the comics. but still better than the show.
@@nightwolf9723 It's activism over storytelling, the director said she wanted to troll the fans, apparently that was more important to her.
The last episode ruined the flaws Kate Bishop had and turned her into another mary sue
@@xenomorphqueenqueenalien6501 the last episode is the reason i started the comment with "i didn't dislike" instead of "i liked". Good setup overall, but failed at the payoff side of things for Kate. Clint's arc ended logically enough.
@@CastlesKingSide Yeah if she lost and her bones got cracked by Kingpin not only gave her flaws also made Kingpin feel actual threat instead of a big fat boy

Nightmare or Mephisto should’ve been the villain of a Doctor Strange 2. And Doctor Strange 2 should’ve followed both Strange and Wong throughout the entire film.
The MCU ended with Infinity War and the MSHEU began with The Wasp & Antman
That hard truth where most fans root for S. Rogers & T. Stark but disconnect with S. Wilson, J. Rhodes and other secondary characters. The canceled projects, box office bombs speak for themselves.
To be fair if I had godlike powers, I would probably be a massive prick… instead of a regular prick.
Literally or figuratively ?
Wasn’t Capt Marvel originally a dude in the comics ?!? 🙄🤦🏽♂️
He was, with Ms. Marvel being Carol Danvers. Eventually Captain Marvel died and after a long run Ms. Danvers took up the mantle.
Actually after Captain Mar-vell died the name was given to Monica Rambeau. At the same time Carol Danvers became Ms. Marvel. Then sometime after that Carol Danvers got the name Captain Marvel, and Monica Rambeau became Photon. In my opinion they should've started the whole Captain Marvel journey with the male version and transitioned over time in this order to give audience a chance to grow along with the characters.
depends on the franchise
The male version was DC Comics. Shazam was the original captain Marvel
They introduced Captain Marvel as "She has all the power in the universe, can one-shot the biggest threats in the MCU, and her flaw is that men have kept her down but can't keep her down!"
Yeah, you can do godlike power and still have a good character.
Give Captain Marvel something like that, and don't make her way to overcome it being "She's just gotta realize how awesome she is" and you'd have an infinitely more interesting character without having to change hardly anything.
you just can't keep losing money. The pit is not endless.
No bottom in sight....new lows are still on the horizon. "Finally" is yet to be realized.
If Disney stops going woke. what will you talk about?
The same people are in the same positions, i dont think much will change, but lets hope! If not, ill save my money lol firing 1 director just seems like a PR public execution move. Nothing more than a trick.
Hopefully only time will tell though
Telling the majority of your audience “this isn’t for you and you’re the bad guy, but you still have to watch this” makes those people not want to watch it. Then blaming the offended group for it failing… mental gymnastics.
If they don't drop DEI and ESG Disney will never figure it out.
Disney "The only reason you hate Monica Rambose is because she's black"
The fans "Then why are we so pissed about how you ruined Nick Fury?"
Disney "Then its because she's a woman"
The fans "Then why do we love Black Widow, Pepper Pots, and Hawkeye's wife?"
Disney "ITS BECAUSE YOU'RE TOXIC!"
The fans "Keep telling yourself that."
...4 years later
Disney "Okay, we get it."
Give diverse characters to competent writers and directors and you get the best of both worlds.
Exactly and also keep strong male heroes as well as females why can’t we have both!
Competent writers don't come in diverse skin colors
But competence costs money and they need the money for their flashy effects!
The MCU just needs to stop now. We’re tired of shared universes and multiverses and having to watch everything to understand everything. We just want good stories. We don’t have to have every movie and show to all be set in the same big continuity to have good storytelling. Joker, Logan, and The Batman are perfect examples.
To Disney, I say this. Why get paid from ESG score when your audience pays more?
Taking the audio out of the fight scenes for echo would be like just showing a blank screen with just audio during fight scenes for Daredevil! Lol 😂
This isn’t a good sign. This means they’re just gonna keep dangling keys on front of our faces until the property dies, just like what happened with Star Wars
The only info worth noting in The Marvels was that Valkyrie is a gold star clam bumping, muff diving, carpetmuncher ! 🙄🤦🏽♂️🤣
Its like calling the fire department while standing on the burnt rubbled remains of your home.
Saying she hulk sucked in the comics was just telling on yourself.
True the Ms. Marvel stuff as well lot's of waffling today actually
Disney hasn't reached rock bottom. They've buried themselves deeper than the rock at the deepest debt of the ocean, and are desperate to get out of their own grave.
If they could write something compelling for Iman Vellani, she's a good enough actress to keep around. That's about it though.
Im writing my own star wars sequels
Ahahaha
Fanbase? What's a fanbase?? Oh it's that thing you're supposed to respect and satisfy in the delivery of your material!! Wow Disney is clueless.
I can't believe that Kevin Feige , the person behind all those great marvel projects in the past can't see far enough to know that an Eternals sequel would flop.
He needs to be fired
Ms Marvel reduces everything she's in to CW quality. Please. PLEASE! No more!
I’ll believe it when I see it. Disney has lost all my respect and trust.
To little to late. Boycott woke Disney!
I've said it many times RESPECT THE SOURCE MATERIAL comic book movies can make big money there's ton of great stories in the comics stop the activism and rainbow nonsense and the pandering. The same with Star Wars. Respect the source material.
They need to bring back skimpy outfits for the female heroes
the need to reverse , remake the movies that went wrong and burn all the latest movies, it will cost them a pretty penny , but thats the only way
I rewrote captain marvel was a nova core member who got her powers from the power stone, but it was so much power she hurt others. And she had to develop her powers while Xadar was destroyed and that’s why she shows up at the end of end game.
"End Of The M-She-U?"
Don't get my hopes up...
100% nailed it
Seeing some of these clips, I know this is a bit off-topic, but how do they manage such terrible CGI? Those Dr. Strange clips are insane. I remember enjoying the first one especially with the visuals. Haven't seen the second one but in clips and it's just kind of mind-boggling. Memory could serve wrong though. Thanks for the video Jesse
In Dr. Strange 2, Stephen had some character arc. He made his peace with not getting with Christine. But Mr. Grant is still correct.
"Good story" this, "good story" that. Dude, just telling a "good story" is NOT enough to save cinema.
Disagree strongly on your She Hulk in the comics and Ms. Marvel comment
No. They aren’t doing the right thing. Marvel is dead. Disney killed it with RDJ.
I'm assuming this is more about the proxy battle and being held accountable for the company's downward trajectory than it is about actually course correcting. They're more interested in ESG benefits than they are about customer satisfaction.
Disney hasn't learned its lesson. Bob Iger is still trying to push DEI into Deadpool 3.
Disney needs to go banksy.
Another great video bro
It does not feel like there is any redemption. The only people interested are the ones who were happy with the crappy films, and they are happy with the crappy films. I assume they do not know better
They can be diverse as long as they create new characters and not recycle beloved ones.
Get rid of Del
What about the time Disney capitalized on Chadwick Boseman‘s death. Trying to cash in on a dead man’s tribute for money. To hell with Disney and the bigotry.
Bro She-Hulk absolutely does NOT suck in the comics. I don't know what comics you read but she is a great character in the comics. The live action version on the other hand is completely atrocious and is nothing like Jennifer Walters at all.
I liked Wandavision. But I hated the Dr. Strange movie she took over.
If you really want a good movie to watch, then go watch dune 2 with your wife. Seriously, you won’t regret it
The "Crappy Stories" phase should include Secret Invasion as well
No iron heart unless they make her inspired by ironman.

Every time you think Disney can't make a worse movie. They surprise you with a worse movie. Can somebody please clone Walt to try and save this train wreck.
