The episode where her mom buys her some off brand jeans but Lizzie and her friends buy the designer ones she originally wanted is one of my favorites. @@fairlyliterary4771 I think the OP was referring to how Ethan's last name might be a pun. A Craft or Trade is a career (that's essential to current society) that doesn't require a ton of college/university education. Like construction, factory lines, lumberjack, etc. Ethan is shown to be a good and kind character, but not book smart. He probably wouldn't get into a college. Hence why his last name "Craft" could also be a pun on his likely future career path. It's an interesting thought. I don't know if creators have confirmed that's the reason for his last name or not, but it's a good connection. I do think the show went a bit overboard with his "dimwit" characterization. Obviously, most people in crafts/trades aren't like Ethan, his character is an exaggeration. But most Disney sitcoms are known for using copious amounts of exaggeration and absurdism to be funny for kids. It's not like Ethan was the most exaggerated part of the show, by far.
Everything about Lizzie McGuire show was perfect, everything from the clothes they were perfect n well put together, such innovative clothing, meaningful lessons...genuine character
That first kiss episode was awesome. I love this show so much. I’m thankful for that Disney+ I was able to rewatch it in like a week. I hope they take the reboot to Hulu for the 28+ year olds like me.
I do remember the first kiss episode being my favorite, not because of the a hole that shouldn’t be named, b because Gordo realized his feelings for Lizzie in that episode or at least started to.
The Ronnie episode was #1 for me when I was a kid. A pretty accurate portrayal of lame middle school love that lasts about a week but feels like the end of life. I had a very BRIEF "boyfriend" at that age and the episode helped my little girl mind heal lol

Well middle school, no kid show is 100% realistic but Lizzie McGuire was 1 of the more grounded shows and felt closer to realism. It also didn't have parents that were portrayed as idiots and paid a lot more attention to their kids. In fact I grew up with 2000s Disney Channel and while not all of the shows from that decade were amazing, MOST of them were of high quality. The 2010s only had a handful of shows that were genuinely good
I did the audio post production for her show back in Hollywood. And I always said at the studio, this kid is going to be amazing some day when she grows up. She and Dakota Fanning.
All these are good ones! Some of my favorites not mentioned are I do, I don’t! I love the whole wedding theme and Kate getting the fruit punch on her in the end! And then I love night of the day of the dead it’s amazing and I love how they get back at Kate!
