Yea the classics did. Now Everytime they tackle those issues Disney hates it and the shows get cancelled like Girl Meets World it was their most popular show on the network at the time because it was the only one dealing with life values bring back the origins but when the girls went to High School they were growing up GMW was too mature for Disney's taste. Yeah I'm sure it's a lot better hearing the characters talk like robots being obsessed with their social media and likes and acts very fake thats when Disney lost me....

The episode of Boy Meets World where Shawn was trying to help a girl who was the victim of physical abuse by her parents. The only moment I can think of you missed is on from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Absent/workaholic parents, when Londen thinks her dad is going to join her to a father daughter dance she first prepares herself by saying he won’t show. Than when it seems like he actually arrives, she gets really happy. Only to find out he once again failed to keep his promise. First she shakes it off, but Mosby later finds her crying because of her disappointment and hurt she feels towards her father. That scene always hurt me whenever I’m watching it

More people need to understand this. Everyone, every show, aways make it seem like you need to forgive to move on. That not true, sometime you can just move on never forget or forgive people who done you wrong. You can find closure that someone wrong you and it you are ok and move on.

No one deserve forgivness but we all need to learn that we all make mistake and move on. If I kill someon I don't expect their family to just forgive me cuz I deserve/want forgiveness. I will just learn that I did something awful and learn to live with the consequences. Learn/move on from that mistake/sin. Why should someone forgive me for causing them pain? That not their promble but mine to bear.

@@bobbysmith8095 because its right, no one 'deserves' forgiveness, its your gift to choose to or not to give, but we should forgive as our holy God forgives us everyday for sinning so horribly against him, if you were to wrong someone, if you were to apologize and ask for forgiveness, you would want them to forgive you, so shouldn't you forgive? it can take a long time to be ready to forgive someone. also forgiving someone is just letting go of that pain, holding on to that grudge can cause more pain than the actual thing the person did, you don't have to give them a second chance, or hang around them, but forgiving them i the right thing to do

Well BMW was a teen sitcom that wasn't held back by Disney Channel regulations so it could cover more mature themes. A lot of people, probably folks too young to remember or even witness its initial run, don't know that it was actually an ABC show. Walt Disney backed it but again, it wasn't too restricted because it was on a more wide-ranging network. It wasn't shown on the Disney Channel until it went into syndication. Even then, several episodes had to either be edited or outright cut because they were deemed too mature for the Disney Channel audience.

While true, GMW has serious moments but there are times where the dialogue is just incredibly bad and/or boring.

@@thewillofabeast9079 Yeah I agree Girl Meets World feel super dramatic sometimes which can get cringy. Boy Meets World never feels that way to me. It definitely has dramatic moments but the characters react like real people whereas in Girl Meets World everything bad even if it’s just barely bad is treated so over the top like “Oh no! Beauties and Bullies is by far the best episode of Austin and Ally. I’m turning 26 in a matter of weeks and I unapologetically would call it one of my all time favorite shows, Disney Channel or otherwise.
I love Trish- she’s sassy, she’s a badass, confidence goals, a savage, hilarious, gives absolutely zero shits and is loyal, authentic and balances out being brutally honest and snarky with empathy, loyalty and compassion.
Trish is the epitome of a real friend. She’s mean and snarky sometimes but she’s not afraid to say shit to your face. She’s caring, loyal, empathetic, and authentic and never lets anything happen to people she cares for. Watching her crying in Beauties and Bullies broke my heart. Everything can't always be chill. Friendships ending, breakups, cheating, mourning losses, betrayal, denial and disappointment. In Liv And Maddie, there was an episode dealing with sexist pigs who try to make girls achieve an impossible beauty standard by body shaming the girls. Most of the girls tried to deal with it by standing up to their sexist bullies, while Willow betrayed the cause to try to fix her self esteem issues by trying to impress the sexists! That episode in my eyes, might be one of the most relatable episodes a girl has to watch, and I agree with the message that you don’t have to impress some pigs to feel better about yourself (I’m a guy by the way).

I remember watching that episode of Sydney To The Max when I was about 8 years old. I asked my mom what a period was and was banned from watching that episode. I ended up seeing that episode again when i was 9 or 10 and my sister was six, and she asked me what a period was. I now realize, at 13, that the show was mainly for girls ages 11+ as the show went on. I also remember watching Andi Mack as a younger child, maybe age 7 and was told I couldn’t watch it and now I know why.

When Kylie Cantrall played the role of Gabby Duran in the short-lived sci-fi comedy Gabby Duran & the Unsittables, she took her babysitting duties seriously. In season one, she told Wesley, Gabby's BFF, that she was meant to babysit aliens. Even after the show ended after season two, Gabby was determined to bring the aliens back to Havensburg, no matter what. In another Disney Channel series, Booker Baxter, played by Issac Ryan Brown, was shown smoking a cigarette in an episode of Raven's Home. However, he learned a valuable lesson about the dangers of smoking, especially for kids.

You missed a few from The Ghost and Molly Mcgee. In "Festival of Lights", while brief, there was a flashback showing how Libby's great-grandparents fled from Germany during The Night of Broken Glass. There was also the subject of moving on from past mistakes, as seen in "The Unhaunting of Brighton Video" where Ollie had issues in coming to terms about what he did as a ghost hunter and moving on (same with Blair, the ghost, the gang is trying to help). And there was the topic on how some big-chain companies can overtake smaller companies as seen in "Davenports on Demand" and "Davenport's in Demise".
