I just had one of these at C&D, only the meringues were in the shape of little bones for Halloween. I don't think I've ever had a better cupcake in my life. Brava to all those in the kitchens, absolutely unreal!!!

But now I made with the meringues and I could not get rid of the sugar Granulates though i mixed for at least 15 minutes after it was already glossy. What did i do wrong? Can i use icing sugar too? Or sift the caster sugar? Thanx for advice

U wipe vinegar to bowl and the beater to wipe off grease if any...does vinegar used affect the taste of the meringue
