    The RDX is not based on the CR-V. It's an all new platform only for Acura/RDX

      You're right. I didn't notice that the RDX switched platforms for the 2019 m/y. That said, they share a lot of the same parts and styling cues.

      @@Allcarseveryday No they don't, My wife has a new CR-V I don't see any part that's the same different engine, different transmission, different drivetrain, different interior, I cannot find anything that's the same except maybe the battery.

      @@Allcarseveryday No they don't share any part with Honda CRV. You need to know your stuff before you do a review.

    Excellent review. I considered these vehicles and ended up buying the RDX. Other than its styling, my main reason for buying an RDX was due to the ELS 3D audio system. Best car audio I've ever heard from the factory. Unwired factory sub and added a JL Audio 8” boxed sub with an amp. Sub and amp are hidden in cargo storage area and makes sound so much richer.

    • @mellowjammer
      @mellowjammer 5 лет назад

      Did you have to disconnect the Automatic Noise Cancellation Circuit to integrate your aftermarket sub without causing strange noises from the audio system?

      mellowjammer An audio shop did the install so I can’t answer your question. I haven’t noticed any noises or had any problems.

    My 2019 MAZDA CX-5 GT Reserve reliability is rated by Consumer Reports as "Much Better Than Average", their highest rating. Some features it has in the top two models (GT Reserve and Signature) are "adaptive" (turning) headlights, cooled front seats, 310 ft. lbs. of torque, 250 HP turbo , AWD and 40.20/40 rear fold down seats, iPhone and Android Auto, Sirius XM, and heated seats, steering wheel, outside mirrors and windshield wipers and Heads Up Display. With 0 - 60 in 6 .2 seconds. Not bad for $36,800.
    ** BUT I would prefer the Super Handling AWD of the RDX. That is a technological tour-de-force!

    • @Allcarseveryday
      @Allcarseveryday  5 лет назад +2

      I will most likely do another video with those cars included. They weren't in this one for two reasons. 1. I want to wait for the 2020 models of those vehicles to be on dealer lots, and they weren't at the time of this video and 2. I've found viewers prefer 3 or 4 car comparisons, not more than that. Looking forward to comparing the Acura to those two.

    I know acura is paying you but how is that fair to compare acura top trim vs non f sport nx and atleast a premium plus q5

    • @Allcarseveryday
      @Allcarseveryday  4 года назад +3

      If anyone was paying me to do this I would be able to drive the cars, no? I compare at a price point, not a trim level. I think comparing features per car at a similar price point is more logical than comparing top trim levels of each car. The Premium Plus Audi is way more expensive than an A-Spec RDX--to me that's less fair than the way I do it.

    • @AFCompany
      @AFCompany 5 лет назад +6

      I prefer Acura over Lexus which funny enough Acura was actually so successful as a luxury brand outselling Mercedes at the time that Toyota decided to make Lexus and Nissan decided to make INFINITI. I love the way Audi’s look on the outside but don’t like the interiors. They’re very reminiscent of BMWs who’s interiors I hate. I’d go Volvo though reliability sucks or Alfa Romeo. Though the new 2021 Acura models that are coming look incredible so maybe I’ll wait.

    • @MrMpecar
      @MrMpecar 4 года назад +2

      Biggest difference is Lexus dealership more luxury but Acura is more safety features and sound for the money. Former owner of gs 350 2007 to tlx 2017. Just got an RDX A spec 2020 for the wife yesterday.

    • @bobbywoods684

      @@MrMpecar I say good for you. Enjoying your car is very important with such a large investment. I bought a 2019 RAV4 for myself and it's ok, nothing special but have not enjoyed their new 8 speed trans. If it does last as well as the previous RAV's they've built, I'll call it a victory. For all the negative comments and reviews on Nissan's CVT's I've personally never had a problem, but didn't get passed 60K miles, so who knows. I bought the RAV because it had a traditional trans and to repeat, have not liked it with the coast and lurch problem that has been somewhat fixed, but not totally. I have to admit the one time we looked at Acura, the dealership was a dump and that had an impact. My wife's NX300 is flawless.
