This video is great my doctors think I have ITP and have done the full blood count but they don't tell me what comes next. Thanks to this video though I now now that I have probably had a virus as I'm only 13, and I know what happens next. 😄😀
ITP is an immune mediated process. Usually the destruction of platelets is due to production of IgG against receptors on platelets. If steroid treatment has failed, IV Ig binds to the auto antibodies and prevents further destruction
