I bought a 1/2 quart of polycrylic and it did 12 ornaments and still had about half a can left if anyone was wondering. And dollar tree had cups and squeeze bottles. This tutorial was super helpful. 😊❤️
Love this! Great video!! I was asked to help w/ my grandsons 1st grade class to make ornaments. I shared this w/ his teacher to help her see & together we're making a craft day "game plan". Having done this before 10 years ago, then hand painting Disney princess' on them, I know how good Polycrylic is. 👍
I don't know exactly what it is but the way you teach makes everything so easy to understand. This was just so straightforward and looks so simple. Thanks for sharing. Also, I need to see how you made the initial "D" in the ornament in the video Lol
Beautiful. I used to do these with floor wax. They don't sell the kind I use anymore. Tried hairspray-NOT. So happy to see this video. I just bought Polycrylic! Love the ornaments!

Hello watching this video from NC! I plan on making some ornaments. A teacher wants me to decorate her classroom for the Holiday’s. I’m looking forward to it! Your video was very helpful! I bought my ornament from Michaels because they were on sale.
Loving the effect and that this is not hard to do. Going to put a kit together for my grandnieces with mums supervision of course. I was looking for a Christmas Craft present so thank you so much.
I have never done the inside with acrylic paint is that easier than doing it outside and I would think doing it on the inside you wouldn't have to seal it, thoughts and suggestions
I'm still having issues getting my decal on a round ornament. Oh yea ad im typing i hear you recommended the flat ones. I've even cut slits in my vinyl to get it to lay right and im just not happy with how it turns out
Is there a tutorial for the ornament with the letter (here it is a "D") on it. I am new to working with ornaments and would LOVE to see them made. Also, where did you get the letter patterns if not said on the video. Thank you! Please help!

Loving the effect and that this is not hard to do. Going to put a kit together for my grandnieces with mums supervision of course. I was looking for a Christmas Craft present so thank you so much.
Very nice. Easiest one yet. What size font did you use, and what is the name of the Font?
Sounds really funny but I take a empty pop bottle, wash it, glitter the inside, add a few little rocks and a rose. Beautiful. I sell so many.
Can you do a video of the ornament that has the initial on it?? Or what did you use for the initial and what did you use to apply it with?? Thanks
Sooooo cuuuuuuute thanks for sharing I will be trying to make these for my grandkids
How much could I sell the ornaments for? Also how did you put the initial rhinestone on which was shown at the beginning of this video?

These are super cute and easy What is the name of the font used?
Hobby Lobby has them on sale now 50% off
Should the ornaments dry upside down or right side up after the glitter is in ?
@@darlenedugan7342 i do upside down still :)
Hi this was such a easy video to follow! Thanks for doing this! May I ask if you used plastic or glass ornaments? And where did you get them?
Plastic is kid and pet friendly. You can get them from the dollar tree.
Where did you buy the decals…love this..great to make and give as 🎁 gifts❤️
Super great tutorial 😊
Thank you 😊
Great tutorial, do we have to order personalize vinyl or we can do it ourselves?
Hi. I love this video. Can you tell me if your bows are pre-made or you made them? Thanks in advance.
I made them! In my tumbler cup video with the circle polka dot frame I explain on how I tie them 😍
@@Zindee thank you. I'm going to watch it now.
I would like to know what kind of glue are you using .thank you so much
Do I have to have a Cricut to make the words? Or can I buy them ready made somewhere? Love your presentation!
I have never done the inside with acrylic paint is that easier than doing it outside and I would think doing it on the inside you wouldn't have to seal it, thoughts and suggestions
YES
YES
YES...
Beautiful...
1:24.... I love this Water Based Polyurethane.
Gorgeous!! Very thorough instructions
Will mod podge work? That’s all I could find at my craft store
Possibly but need to water it down
The polycrylic can be found at Lowe’s or Home Depot/walmart
Love this! Are the ornaments glass or plastic?
I have to worry about fumes of certain products while I craft, because of asthma. Does the polycrylic have a strong smell?
It does not and it is water based :) but I totally recommend reading the msds on any product you use to confirm ♥️
I'm still having issues getting my decal on a round ornament. Oh yea ad im typing i hear you recommended the flat ones. I've even cut slits in my vinyl to get it to lay right and im just not happy with how it turns out
Just amazing! What font did you use?
Looks like the Skinny font. Cricut also has a similar font called Four Seasons
@@TD-izAbxy DaFont has “The Skinny” font I use (similar to Rae Dunn that most people like 👍🏻)
Wow you really explained and make easy
Love it! Got My Stuff! I'm Gonna Try!!!
This was a great …easy peasy …love it
Can't seem to find polycrylic in stores would varathane polyurethane 3x thick work as a replacement?
Is there a tutorial for the ornament with the letter (here it is a "D") on it. I am new to working with ornaments and would LOVE to see them made. Also, where did you get the letter patterns if not said on the video. Thank you! Please help!
Great where can you names that you can peel and stick ?
Where did you get the ‘words’ from … I can’t find those bits??
Help!
Tysm how big was your decal?
Do you have to use poly before painting and no glitter?
@@bettesledd2396 you do not :)
I'm going to try this I love it thank you !! 😊
Love these ❤❤ thanks for sharing 🎉
Once you add the glitter do you put the ornament back in the cup, upside down to finish drying?
Yes that is usually best :)
Just want to wait for it to dry completely before capping it but it won’t hurt for it to dry on it’s side 🥰
Great ornaments. Where do you get the letters from or how do you make them?
It’s permanent vinyl cut with an electronic die cutting machine like Cricut or Silhouette.
Can I ask how much do you sell these for?
Idk why this video gave me anxiety 😂😂 (I’m never gonna make one) but it’s so pretty great job!
What about the smell from the polyurethane? Does it go away eventually? Mine still stink after 2 days.
This is not polyurethane, this is polycrylic… it does not have a smell like polyurethane and is water based. 🥰
Is there any way to do touch-up's after you put in the glitter ?!!? There are spots that look spotty...
Yes but you will need to let dry completely and then repeat the same process but be sure it’s all the way dry first ♥️
Where did you find this size and type of ornament?
Wouldn’t you use the gloss polycrylic? I didn’t think of that till I saw the choices of finishes.
Oops watched it again & heard you say clear gloss!!
Yes gloss 🥰
Some people use Mod Podge. Does that last?
@@met999000 it will but not as long as
mod podge usually lasts 1-3 years
polycrylic usually lasts 5+
Can you add a picture inside before adding the glitter?
Working with glitter is so Awesome. I have done this for many years.
Does it matter what kind of glitter is used???
Did you use a cri-cut to make/print the labels?
Silhouette :) but cricut works also
Nicely done!
These are so cute!
Whats the size of the name? Where on your dite can I find the font?
Where to buy the decals?
Very pretty
How did you do the bow on top?
If you don’t have a cricket, then what?
