    Learned a lot, thank you. Suggestion: it's not "access material", it's " excess material".

    I've been making these for years. No messy glitter falling off the ornament! I just bought a can of Polycrylic!

    Hi, i am looking forward to following this video. Can you please tell me which cricut machine you recommend? Thank you for the inspiration.

      Any Cricut machine will work for this project. I personally love the Cricut Maker as there is so much more you can do with it.

    Great video! I am catching up on some crafting and tried this a couple days ago! I used Polyurethane as that is all the store had, and have waited a couple days, but the glitter inside seems to move still if I touch it. Are they supposed to dry and harden on the inside completely?? I am wondering if I need to get polycrylic instead??? And insight would be great! THANKS!!!

    • @littlecraftnest
      @littlecraftnest  Год назад

      Yes the glitter will harden on the inside. However if you have too much glitter some may flake out. But yes most of the glitter should stick to the “glue” and harden.

    I notice you said if you use chunky glitter do a couple coats. How would I do coats? Would I wait for the one coat to dry before doing another?

    If I didn't get good coverage the first time, can I do a second coat without missing up the first coat?

    • @littlecraftnest
      @littlecraftnest  11 месяцев назад

      It should be fine if you do a second coat but make sure your first coat completely dries.

    Such lovely work!! LOVE this craft/gift idea! Would you know about how many ornaments can be made with 1 can of the polycrylic (roughly). Trying to figure out what it costs to make these ornaments. Thanks so much.

    • @littlecraftnest
      @littlecraftnest  Год назад +1

      Good question. If I had to guess I’d say over 200 but I’ve never really counted.

    • @yeseniac.7773
      @yeseniac.7773 Год назад +1

      @@littlecraftnest Imagine counting each one LOL. I made about 25 and the polycrylic level only diminished by a tad. I'm with you. At least 200!! Thanks sooooo much! Happy and blessed new year!!!

    I have fine glitter, but my ornaments are coming out see through :( no matter how long I let the acrylic dry I still get drips

    • @littlecraftnest
      @littlecraftnest  Год назад

      I’m sorry it’s not working well for you. Maybe try a little less poloycrylic. Is it dripping too much before or after you put the glitter in?

    So pretty. What is your suggestions to keep your cricut cutting the vinyl? If I have thin lettering, mine tends to cut and pull up vinyl.

    • @littlecraftnest

      Some people have had luck using the washi setting for intercut designs. Also make sure your blade is clean. You can clean it with rubbing alcohol to remove any sticky residue or glitter that may be stuck to it.
