I absolutely love these! I have already purchased a couple of clear ornaments with feathers inside which I bought with the intention of adding a vinyl on the outside with my passed dogs names but now you show me this and I can go ahead and add actual photos!!! Thank you so much 💓
Thank you for such a great video. Im just having a problem with my printer only printing half a page. Any suggestions? I have an epson 15000 ecosolvent ink.
I love making floating ornaments. I have learned when I double the transparent inserts for each ornament, I get brighter colors. I have only done this with graphics, so I'm don't know how it will work for photos.
I was thinking about that also! As my designs come out kinda washed out looking. How do you get them to stay together and the design to be in the exact right place! Thanks!
i just printed mine out. I bought the exact same supplies as you used but the pics look horrible, they are very cheap looking, any other suggestions for what to print them on for this to work with these same ornaments?
The picture will be more vibrant when you look at it with a white background so I know some people will but feathers in their ornaments behind the film to make the picture pop more. Another suggestion would be to print it on clear printable sticker paper and then put the sticker on the transparency film. Bad print quality may also be because of the printer you’re using or the settings on your printer. Another reason could be a low resolution photo. Try a different image and see if that works. I hope you can get it to work well.
Hi, This is a great video! Does the settings for the printer need to say transparency film as one of the options for supported materials? I am looking to buy a printer that can print on the film. Thanks!!
Most printers should be able to, it may not list transparency film as an option. I use the Epson Eco tank printer. Costco often has this printer for a good price.
Try cut out a few different sizes with paper or cardstock and see what fits best. Example if your Ornaments are 5” cut out some templates that are 5”, 4.9” and 4.8” and see what works best. Happy crafting.
That’s frustrating. Make sure the film is going in the printer the right way. There is one side with a coating on it (it will be more dull), that’s the side you want the ink on. I hope you can get it to work. All the best.

Oh no I’m not sure what’s happening but that does sound like an issues with your printer. Are you able to print from other programs normally?
Just followed u on design space app

I have not tried doubling the inserts but yes that makes sense that the photo would appear brighter. Great suggestion!

Great thanks!!b Can you remind me the brand and color for the ornament you made with the design Believe and trees? thanks again!!
Your measurements are for the small ornament which is great but I also have the jumbo ones and I can’t figure out the size

Could you print your photo on clear sticker paper then put it on transparency?
Yes you could.
I came from tiktok to see the settings n nope it didn't work either it just print a lil bit on the top n my printer just stops printing on film
