It's probably because he plays very differently. I can do electric easily but I think the awareness needed to play him is quite a bit above most of the roster. Reacting to DI lines as often as you need to with him and knowing your confirms etc is much harder to me than the other characters. I don't think the combos themselves are harder than Sheik or anything, it is just other parts of him that makes it hard to me, also his disadvantage I have a hard time with. *Don't get me wrong, I think he is broken but I also think there's a reason as to why there are a million Steves with results and only one Kazuya.*
There's definitely more than just Riddles but yeah, there's about 6 note worthy ones right now. Compared to Steve and other characters he's a bit more niche.

Riddles might be the best Terry, but definately not the best kazuya at all.
Tea, Acola, Axium XL, Ferps.... And those are just the notable ones I can name off the top of my head. There is more top representation that just riddles, both as a main or as a secondary.

Well that’s only at low percent and you can easily SDI his running jabs. Kazuya deals 40%+ before the combo is even over, which at worst is electric > nair > electric. Doesn’t help that SDI is basically useless against Kaz and DI gives you at best a 50/50. Knockback also doesn’t significantly affect most of his combos. No other character in the game removes nearly all interesting aspects of Smash’s combo system in favor of pure consistency. It’s not fun to watch and it’s definitely not fun to fight.
I agree with Void on Kazuya, hate to see em, why does he have so many moves and the stupid combo extensions, the unDIable attacks, tough guy and this isn't even an exhaustive list of all the crimes against balance that Kazuya does on a daily basis.
