That said, i don't think his career should end over it. I think forgiveness can and should be shown in such scenarios, but we can atleast acknowledge wrong doing.

I agree about Kazuya. If Smash was going for accuracy then Steve would only be able to create blocks that are on solid ground.

In that case yeah, just like VoiD said, we have a *lot* more to take into consideration. If that were the case, then:
Kirby's copy abilities would be more fleshed out since they change essentially his entire kit in his games. Also he'd have the slide kick and the air gun, at least.
Every pokemon would have critical hits on every pokemon move, just like Hero. Same with Cloud, and I believe the FE characters too
Incineroar should be much faster since its base speed is identical to both Pichu's and Ivy's. By the same logic, Squirtle has a lower base speed so it should be slower
Robin should be faster (y'all can confirm that, I know I've just heard it from a FE Awakening Fan)

9:20, yeah as a lucina player, i learned about that quickly against Bowser in 4, when i heard Kazuya's wasn't nearly as strong it was the first thing i labbed when he came out

I mean doesn't Steve do 40% as well from a single running jab? Kazuya combos are broken af, but the short ones that do 40% doesn't seem to bad. Not far off what other characters get from spamming a safe neutral air.
Well that’s only at low percent and you can easily SDI his running jabs. Kazuya deals 40%+ before the combo is even over, which at worst is electric > nair > electric. Doesn’t help that SDI is basically useless against Kaz and DI gives you at best a 50/50. Knockback also doesn’t significantly affect most of his combos. No other character in the game removes nearly all interesting aspects of Smash’s combo system in favor of pure consistency. It’s not fun to watch and it’s definitely not fun to fight.
I don't know man, I've played Smash for a long time and I go to tournaments in Sweden, granted it is not like a top tier country for Ult but I think Kazuya is much harder than the other characters. It's probably because he plays very differently. I can do electric easily but I think the awareness needed to play him is quite a bit above most of the roster. Reacting to DI lines as often as you need to with him and knowing your confirms etc is much harder to me than the other characters. I don't think the combos themselves are harder than Sheik or anything, it is just other parts of him that makes it hard to me, also his disadvantage I have a hard time with.
*Don't get me wrong, I think he is broken but I also think there's a reason as to why there are a million Steves with results and only one Kazuya.*
There's definitely more than just Riddles but yeah, there's about 6 note worthy ones right now. Compared to Steve and other characters he's a bit more niche.

You can see tea can do footstool combos to read 1 less time di for 0 to death combos and also he used the wavebounce down-b and side-b reverse to catch the riddles landing. Riddles might be the best Terry, but definately not the best kazuya at all.
Tea, Acola, Axium XL, Ferps.... And those are just the notable ones I can name off the top of my head. There is more top representation that just riddles, both as a main or as a secondary.
I agree with Void on Kazuya, hate to see em, why does he have so many moves and the stupid combo extensions, the unDIable attacks, tough guy and this isn't even an exhaustive list of all the crimes against balance that Kazuya does on a daily basis.

As a spectator I don't find Kazuya entertaining to watch at all. I know he's just gonna shuffle around the stage, do an electric, do a nair, into the same damn efficient combo ooover and over again. But it really does have the Tekken spirit. Have a ton of different moves only to really just use a fraction of them.
That's definitely a Riddles thing. Looking at Tea and Axiom they have entirely different play styles.

All these smash4/ultimate pros are so insufferable. Whenever somebody takes a character to the next level they all start to complain until eventually the character gets nerfed. Just adapt. Or also pick that character. If it's as braindead, easy, cheese, as you claim, why not pick up the character yourself and make the thousands of dollars that riddles is making from maining big boss kazuya Mishima. I'm "not recommending" this channel and sticking with nice wholesome guys like wadi and Larry.

Simple, playing against Kazuya is cringe. You get touch to death'd of a single mistake which hasn't been fun in any game ever. Along with that, maybe people don't enjoy playing a disgustingly boring character. Same goes with Steve, no one likes playing against him. Those are crimes against gameplay
Bro even Kazuya players are fully aware of how dumb the character is. Obviously, the players will eventually play better and adapt, but that doesn't mean people shouldn't complain about how dumb a character is.
