I'd say I use wavelanding itself less often than I do just airdodging down to put myself high enough to land on a platform to fake an aerial approach. Can use such an approach as bait to get the opponent to move forward, and punish their commitment accordingly. I love wavelanding as much as the next guy but if you limit yourself to thinking that's the only time airdodging down onto a platform makes any sense then I feel you're missing out on a useful neutral tool (though it shouldn't be spammed since it stands out).
I've never seen such an aggressive Ryu, it's crazy cuz the JP meta usually evolves to be more defensive than the NA one, but that Ryu was rushing down hard. Great set.
2:31 funny thing about this is if you try to mash dancing blade vs Shotos it won't connect either (Some characters can even jump or footstool off the opponent in time to escape), this is due to how their body shifts, hitting slightly later and why it gets so bad against some characters. Similar can happen vs characters like Joker if you go for something like Terry falling upair > dair, their body contorts in a way to prevent the dair (Solution is usually to do a power wave since it's just enough damage for up air to raise them up enough to connect regardless, you can also try to land closer but risk janky auto turnaround)
definitely a dope joker. glad to see the character gets more representation beyond mkleo. love his gun usage but I do feel sometimes it leads to him getting hurt more than it does good.
According to his friend Charles on a recent episode of the Tweek Talks podcast, he's been practicing a lot more recently and has a competitor's heart. But he makes more money from casual streaming and RUclips content which is hard to overlook. So it seems unclear at this moment. I hope this makes sense when translated!

Void has a very good point a modded switch at a major is just very unfair to a lot of people. A modded switch is good at home since if your streaming for content you want better connection and less lag issues

Combination of b-reverse and wavebounce. He inputs the left direction for the wavebounce, then presses B for the gun, and then inputs the right direction for the b-reverse. It’s a very tight timing, especially as you run off a platform

NGL this was a pretty whack set. Why was Ryu chilling and doing basic combos in neutral but when Aresen came out he went full aggro and lost a stock, like wut?? Then the Joker I cant count on how many times he was off ledge & just jumped or released attack off ledge which Ryu could ez clap. Weird.

Run off, input back, B then forward. It's really easy. You're just B-reversing a reverse special. A reverse B-reverse, if you will.
