I go through a daily struggle with sheik. I'll be like "that's it I'm just not good enough to play sheik" and then I see videos like this and I'm like"that's it we are hitting the lab again, sheik is sick"
Stick with sheik, but get a secondary with amazing killpower (like Roy)

Props to that marth for getting destroyed multiple times in a row. You might laugh, but it takes stamina to take a beating like that and ask for another.
5:00 Aerial needles to Bouncing Fish is a true combo. It's been two times since the start of the video that he didn't do it, but the first time vs marth was for stylistic reason, but here no reason. The second needle was extra spicy though.

I recently picked up sheik and am confused about how to do f-tilt short hop drag down up air. I’m able to do it if I short hop then up air however I’m not consistent at doing that. Is it possible to drag down to the ground from pressing short hop and up air at the same time?
If you’re referring to something like 3:06, then yes, you could. It was hard for me to do it too, but after a day or two, I got the hang of it. If you want to do a F-Tilt into Short Hop & Up Air, then you have to make sure your opponent is around 50-70%. Early percentages won’t connect something like 3:06, but it will for this combo: Grab -> Down Throw -> Short Hop -> use C-Stick for Up Air while using the left joystick to drag Sheik down at the same time. Not sure if that made sense, but hope it helped somehow
kongkeee using the c-stick really helped with consistency but I was referring to a drag down up air to the ground without a platform. Is that possible pressing jump and up air at the same time?
Jeffaray Jeff, it is possible, but doing that would be very hard because if you’re trying to Jump & Up Air at the SAME time while trying to drag Sheik down to the ground wouldn’t be able to be happen. The reason behind that is because you need to use the left joystick to flick downward twice to drag her down, but since you’re trying to Jump & Up Air at the same time, it requires the left joystick to be used by moving it upwards. Which means, Sheik won’t be able to drag herself down unless your left thumb and your reaction time is super goddamn quick to move up for the Up Air and then immediately flick down the left joystick twice to drag her down. It’s still possible to do that, but it’s mad difficult. Which is why I resort to F-Tilt -> Short Hop -> Up Air with the C-Stick while dragging her down to the ground with the left joystick
I just want to put this out there:
Sheik is still bad at killing because despite her confirms, she has few moves that can consistently kill at higher percents. She needs to work harder for kills. Can she kill? Yes. Are her confirms good? Yes. But sort of like falco, there are many situations where she struggles to kill
