Dude the whole section about COD Elite is crazy, I worked on MW3 and the Elite service and yeah everything Connor mentioned is true, I had no clue Connor was one of the people doing the crazy farming strats. I'm sure I saw his gamertag on the leaderboards many times cause part of my job was to look at all these top people and investigate how they got such high numbers. We did ban people doing it once we started doing the big giveaways like the Jeep. Elite was kind of a mess honestly and we kept having to change the rules because players kept breaking them in unexpected ways.

But we figured out that wasn't the case and they where just organizing and using "creative" tactics and it was a big discussion on if it was against the "spirt of the competition" cause technically they weren't cheating. But too many people complained on the forums. Not that there wasn't cheating, I spent ALOT of time trolling various forums and finding people who found exploits and map holes. Like there was a map hole on Black Box where you could slip under the airplane and land on a small solid piece of collision and snip anyone in the map. People posted it on some forum somewhere and we were able to patch it.
@thelasttankmage God that reminds me of all the years of playing old f2p shooters and map clipping being the major strat, learn all the map clips; clip in matches and just spray everyone cause you could shoot out but not in LMAO

Especially interesting to hear about these issues that seem to pop up around the three year mark. I've been a part of a podcast every other week for 8 years and we haven't made a dime on it. I love it. I'll keep doing it as long as I possibly can.
