Tv is dead.... He's far better off here in youtubeland where he can do/make/produce/say/.... whatever he wants :) To be honest, where I live (Belgium), tv has become utter shite... (Except for some high quality documentaries at times).
I actually disagree. I have seen dozens of Fishing and 4WD online shows to go TV. Sadly, TV is a business... And most shows become a sell out. I don't blame the them for it, its just how it is. I'd like to see Ronny be a real pioneer in the online format So many TV channels have gone online anyway. Keep all the control, and keep making what YOU want Ronny. There are revenue streams for online content, there is support from manufactures and viewers and ads and value adding. Anyone can watch RUclips on any device and from any location at anytime. TV is dead by comparison.
Hi Ronny. You know that you have the most popular videos here in Norway, when it comes to offroad? It is very fascinating to watch your trips and your car off course. On the behalf of the offroad club we wish you a great season, and we are looking forward to your videos. We are planning a trip to Australia, just to drive offroad, and after watching all off your videos, we are really looking forward to this trip. Have a great time, and thank you for sharing your videos with us.. Greetings from Norway. Jan Sverre.
its nice too see people off roading responsibly and not thrashing the life out there trucks and destroying the lanes, youre truck looks good with out the canopy! keep up the good work 😄👍
I love your videos and I am so jealous of your truck I wish Toyota offered a good basic trucks in the USA. But I have to say I like the look of the truck with the canopy.
Heck yeah! I'm looking to buy a diesel, but have to decide between Ram, Nissan, Ford, and an expensive import. There's nothing Toyota to speak of, unless you look at the tiny 1980's models. Think I'm going to end up with a very unconventional 4x4 Ram build- and boy, it's going to be expensive.
+adam hunt we just need more options and mid sized diesels in the first place. Shouldn't have to get a 2500 HD and or f250 and up just to have diesel as an option. The American market really doesn't see how much potential there would be if they offered more cars/trucks in diesel.
Zach Novosad Also all our politicians harp on about environmental impact, why don't they promote building and buying diesels- they're way more fuel efficient and burn cleaner. But the common misconception is that they are worse, because of the occasional soot cloud.
Thanks for the update on the general grabbers. How about a 12 volt fridge/freezer round up? Get your friends to to talk about what they like or dislike about the size and brand they are using. ARB/Engle/National Luna/Weaco. It's a big purchase for a lot or us. Thanks Ronny.
I have the same Arb fridge and all I love it. my only gripe with it is if you stuff it full the top layer doesn't get as cold. but that's more my fault than the fridges. I did not know that you can leave it to the elements. Good to see it still works after that rain shower in your vid. I did buy the insulating bag for it. Made a huge difference in the cycle time on the compressor.
At around 27:38 I loved your "tree clearing". Here in the Pacific North West of the US, most folks I go out with carry chain saws for down trees. It's such a common occurrence I've thought I needed to learn how to use one. I've learned a bit in my last few outings, but those chain saws frighten me. A great uncle of mine lost his leg to gang green infection from "kickback" from a chain saw... So I give them great respect. I figure if I can't hand-saw it out or winch it out of the way...maybe I'd better turn around. Some day I'll man up and buy a chain saw and learn to use it safely....some day.
great video ronnie. hope you read most of your comments. love watching these videos. this one had great captured footage and i always like to hear reviews on tire pressure and things youve seen experienced with trail riding/overlanding. Cheers from the USA in FL. im a true fan.
+FordFoX4 I read every single comment but randomly reply to as many as I can depending on how much time I have 😉 thanks for the comment and feedback. Thanks for watching as well 👍
Watching your videos made me buy a Toyota land cruiser ! can't be happier with it, thank you for the great uploads. Always an education to watch your videos!
I think the thing I enjoy the most is the trucks aren't huge, tube-framed abominations riding on Rockwells and 44s. Shows that you can still wheel with a regular, decent 4x4 (With some well-thought out modifications, of course).
Think we'll chuck some bucks your way on Patreon Ronny! Always very enjoyable and you've put together some very good productions. Would like to see more of your good home grown video productions mate. Well done to you, dad and the team (although no Torben this trip huh? 🤓). Just waiting now for Part II of the Cape to Cape trip so shake a leg! Cheers again from WARWICK WA
watching these videos makes me sad... we can't get those Land Cruisers here in North America... bloody shame. awesome video... great slow motion shots and your time lapse sections are great...
Hey Ronny, You should really consider coming to qld and doing the 5 rocks track I think you would enjoy it! It’s just behind a beautiful beach just like most of your videos are, pretty similar anyway! Regards, Flynn.
When adjusting PSI you should take into account weight of vehicle "load" and tire construction "number of plies". An eight or ten ply tire will not flex as much as a 6 ply at the same psi.
#allthelikes What a great bunch of vehicles and also amazing video quality as always. If I was on the other side of the world I'd totally run a trip with you gents.
Hello from California! Love your videos! Some of the best production quality for this genre on the web. Thank you! I would love to see more Nissans(R50 Pathfinder/Terrano) and classic vehicles as well. On a side note- the beard suits you well
Now im just really waiting to see what you do with the truck, i want to see the new set up but good video Ronny i enjoyed it a lot, when you do your new truck video can you show how your truck works if you get water into it because i went on a trip in my Nissan hard-body and got water on the computer and well had to get a buddy to take me how wasn't fun at all. Last little thing i bet your getting better fuel eco by taking off the back section haha :)
All Fired Up Paintball I'll have to disagree. That Jeep is driven daily, and they have some tight regulations in Australia. It's already performing very well as is, but it just needs a tiny amount of more clearance, not a massive lift.
Hey mate, quick question: why did you leave the Jeep last in line? I'm quite new to offroading, but it seems to me better to leave the "less prepared" cars (smaller tires, lowest clearance, less experienced driver, etc) more to the point, maybe 2nd or 3rd cars, as the guys with big tires end up chewing the track, from my experience, the track that is relatively hard when the first cars goes by, is a mud pit when the last leaves. What do you think? Also, thanks for the excellent videos, they helped me a lot starting going 4whelling!
Superb again Ronny, carry on man. Nice video again! I am so excited when you realise a fresh video, is like a expensive adventure movie and you know to show what a nice country/continent Australia is. Also you videos are very useful regarding the information on how to run on different surfaces and what setup to use. Can you tell me what camera are you using? Thank you and we whant more
At 32:02 ish, I love seeing the Kangaroo out in the road...here in the NW of the US we have deer and or Elk that like to run out in front of us like that. It's never fun when it happens to you, but I appreciate seeing that its a universal problem. Also, all you huddled around the fire...what's it like 15C there? seriously... :-)
The sooner you get your own tv show the better. You piss all over 'your 4x4' & 'top of down under'....etc. great video.
Ye better then most 4x4 shows
agree

+Jan Sverre Christiansen thanks mate and thanks for the feedback 👍 hope you guys get to experience this awesome landscape in AUS
Best 4x4 channel on youtube, undoubtably. Absolutely unreal. Speechless on how consistent the quality is throughout
its nice too see people off roading responsibly and not thrashing the life out there trucks and destroying the lanes, youre truck looks good with out the canopy! keep up the good work 😄👍
Bring the mud!!! Another awesome adventure and excellent video!!
Instablaster...
That single cab land cruiser is SUPER GOOD looking!!!
Ronny the pictures that are taking at nite around the camp fire and sky, is the most beautiful I have seen. Aloha.
pretty sensible four wheeling on very challenging tracks. proper hobbyists. nice show!
The time-lapse of your last camp was absolutely amazing!
Absolutely love the look of Ronnys truck without the canopy, so much meaner. Keep the vids comin!!
Great video. Really enjoyed the slow motion stuff. Thanks for sharing tire pressures. Always nice to see what others do.

Hey Ronny. I love the video man. That looked like an epic trip. You guys have the coolest looking rigs. Love the diesel land cruisers!!
Thanks for sharing your video, better than watching the television.
I love your videos and I am so jealous of your truck I wish Toyota offered a good basic trucks in the USA. But I have to say I like the look of the truck with the canopy.

+Alloyaha yeah, I have a Nissan hardbody 4x4 and it's a bad machine got 32 cooper STT pros 4 inch lift and getting a snorkel soon

That jeep needs at least 3 more inches of lift...lol. Looks like some tough but fun trails.
Excellent video ! I like the new look of your truck .thanks for the videos .

+Walter Sigona I have something about the fridge freezer coming up but not exactly a brand discussion
I have the same Arb fridge and all I love it. my only gripe with it is if you stuff it full the top layer doesn't get as cold. but that's more my fault than the fridges. These are my favourite types of videos that you make, mud, challenging, tracks.👍👌keep them coming please
this vid was absolutely awesome Ronny, watched it when it you first posted and had to watch it again
Awesome video Ronny, definitely one of the best. Really enjoy all the details that most other shows miss.
Great work!
Well done, and thank you for letting us come along👍
The V8's make a great roaring noise under load, don't they?
Ross Westmore it makes me smile every time 😱😊
Love the sound of that v8 diesel!

Great video Ronny. The Landcruiser looks great without the canopy!
Great video footage, especially the water/bog crossings. It was nice to see the different tires handle the various obstacles.
Awesome work as always. Thank you so much for sharing. I look forward to the next video.

Loved the short wheelbase land cruiser
Love it,that muds like costa rican slop!
We have a nickname for those general grabbers in the states. And that general slippers because they don't grip at all!
Watching your videos made me buy a Toyota land cruiser !
can't be happier with it, thank you for the great uploads. Always an education to watch your videos!
+Merab J Basilaia cheers mate and congrats with the Landcruiser
another great video with excellent production values.
I appreciate how you use common sense to protect the tracks. Instead of tearin' them up with repeated useless wheel spin.
Another awesome Video Ronny
They just get better and better, great editing and a joy to watch.
Beats anything on TV by miles!
+Hugh Jazz thanks mate appreciate the feedback👍
those slow motion shots are gorgeous. Looked like a blast!
Boy do I love the sound of your Landcruiser! It's a shame we don't have those or even that engine here in the states. Keep up the great work.
I think the thing I enjoy the most is the trucks aren't huge, tube-framed abominations riding on Rockwells and 44s. Shows that you can still wheel with a regular, decent 4x4 (With some well-thought out modifications, of course).

Great job Ronny, the quality of your videos keeps getting better and better keep up the good work mate!

Come in Canada. Snow, mud, ice, leaves on the flooring. And amazing back country. 👌👌
watching these videos makes me sad... we can't get those Land Cruisers here in North America... bloody shame.

Awesome video mate. Keep up the good work :) looking forward to the next trip :)
21:14 what a mess, what a view, looks like great fun
You do great work Ronny
A very well presented trip. great scenery too.

Thanks for the video.
Great ride, great video!
It seems that there is a good solid surface underneath all this mud, except hills.
Camera work is awesome ,really enjoy your videos .nice work
I am so damn jealous of your vehicle options in Australia.
Great video mate. Keen to see your plans for the back of the 79.
Fantastic.
Another great video Ronny!
Hello from California! Love your videos! Some of the best production quality for this genre on the web. Thank you!
I would love to see more Nissans(R50 Pathfinder/Terrano) and classic vehicles as well. On a side note- the beard suits you well
This is awesom mate
Ronny, you should bring your crew and rigs to the states and do some trails out here. California has a bunch you could cover. You would have a blast.
+Hilla P would love too, just need someone to pay the way...
Forget cali. Oregon has WAY better trails dude.
Love your stuff Ronny!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Ronny you Aussie legend 👍
Great video man, this RUclips channel is going places!
Crazy slow mo there going through the boggy bit. Toyota tsunami!
Awesome vid Ronny cheers mate
Nice Land Rover Defender T Shirts :)
You make some amazing vids man keep it up, I'm glued to your channel
Great video Ronny only wish we had tracks like that in Ireland
I would LOVE to ship my Geo Tracker from the states to do this run with you guys. What an awesome off road adventure.
Love it when I get that new video notification from your channel Ronny! Reckon a 4 wheeling in WA sticker would suit my rig in QLD? 😁
The Jeep could definitely use something around 1 or 2 more inches of lift. Awesome video!
Yup that would make a world of difference for sure. Capable little rig nonetheless
1-2" is almost nothing. you will barely notice a difference. he needs 3-4.5
All Fired Up Paintball I'll have to disagree. That Jeep is driven daily, and they have some tight regulations in Australia. It's already performing very well as is, but it just needs a tiny amount of more clearance, not a massive lift.
It needs whatever lift to clear 35s. I have to say it does well for what it is.
This is so that the bigger and stronger trucks can pull out the jeep if it gets stuck. But yeah the ruts will be deeper and harder to pass
Great video Ronny, You should do a modified episode on the middy or a bundera.
like the number plate Ronny
Superb again Ronny, carry on man. Nice video again!
I am so excited when you realise a fresh video, is like a expensive adventure movie and you know to show what a nice country/continent Australia is.

Looks like an awesome trip
Yea thanks mate love the mud

+rogue109 it was around 2c that night. Does get cold in AUS and it gets real hot too
Hey Ronny,
Your vids are the best! A little birdie told me you were extending your cruiser chassis by 300 mm just like the crew from all 4 adventure
+Luke miles all I can is that little birdie is mistaken 😉 100% not extending the chassis, the turning circle is bad enough already
+Ronny Dahl (4 Wheeling in W.A.) hahaha completely understand my dads got a cruiser identical to yours and we love it
Truck looks great without the canopy :)
Great new video Ronny, definitely getting pro at the camera work and edits
nice work ronny. surely a couple of you could of lifted that tree ;) videos are brilliant mate
eh why risk injury when you can do it nice and easy with the ute
Cheers Ronny!!
Awesome vid as always!
Lindo 👍👍👍👍 desde república Dominicana saludos
mate! amazing slow motion scenes! and editing skillz, enjoy your videos a lot!
what camera are you using?
greetings from germany!
