Helo Roni, I'm watchin again becouse I considerar this the best video you had done, beautiful beach, chalenging places, blue water and good cars. I'm from Brasil, and I have a Troller, it's a Brasilian jeep, do you know? Thanks for your vídeos! It's a inspiration for me.
Ronnie while repairing his swag... "never underestimate duck tape & zip/cable ties"... that is a statement to live by, whether camping, vehicle fixing, or household diy
Ronny, with great success (congratulations) usually comes change. Please don't change how you do these fantastic videos. They truly are amazing. I cant wait to someday visit WA.
It's a great idea with only one person in the group carrying a single cooking platform, ie BBQ, portable gas stove etc. When we go on a group trip, we organize our meals as well. Each couple is responsible for feeding the rest of the group for a certain amount of nights on the trip. Breakfast and lunches are communal and that means that not everyone is cooking and preparing every night, and you end up planning for less individual meals. Works great!
another amazing Vid!! Keeps my Overlanding dreams alive. Ronny, you should do a Vid about Fuel. How much you carry, the tank sizes and planning the gas stops. Cheers Mate
Hey Ronnie, I'm really liking the regular Sunday uploads. Awesome to wake up to a cool video, enjoy a coffee and lazy Sunday morning. Keep up the great work!
Ive got tens of thousands of miles on Toyo Open Country MTs. They do just about everything quite well, not perfect. But my favorite bit about them is that they roll round for 30-40k miles (Jeep) without any weight issues or sound issues. Toyo makes a great tire.
thanks for sharing the epic adventure. great group of rigs there. clearly everyone takes off-roading seriously. looking forward to the next video. safe travels
Those roof top tents are awesome, i got to play around with them when i worked at Rays Outdoors back where they were still open in midland. hard to sell though.
I have one of those Helicopter Mats. Best $100 spent. Camp everywhere with it (I'm told it was the Australian Special Air Service/Forces(?) came up with it for desert missions). Anyway, it's great. And I also saw that cove @ min 6. Can't travel like that in California unless it's Baja. Gonna need to take a Hajj to Southwest Australia. Great video quality and editing. Shots as good as TG or other Automotive shows.
Ronny! A co op with the Mighty car Mods guys would be fine as. Invite them over to the bush! Thanks for a great show, keep up the awesome work. Greetings from Norway
More great content Ronny. I just got a drone and some other camera gear I'll be using to record my adventures traveling through Central America. Thanks for the inspiration.
Another great video Ron and team. I would love to go on an adventure with you lot in my Jimny......Don't laugh because it wouldn't be me stuck in the sand. Cheers lads.
Ronny, why not use your Weber Q for all your meals and grab a single burner for your morning cuppa. Massive space saver. We use Hillbilly Cookware egglets in the weber as well as Weber's new rectangular pan with the detachable handle for stew type meals. The dual stove is a nice gadget but unnecessary. Cheers
Another great video Ronny! Have you considered adding some footage of the prep work you do for the vehicle and your kit? A sort of behind the scenes of the organization would be interesting I think!
Cant wait to see you guys tackle bornholm, ive been there and done it twice and both times there was atleast 1 car that had broken down, my mates gearbox blew on it too and seen lots of tyres off beads
Bummer about the tent pole. Looks like it was brittle to break rather than just split as aluminum poles usually will, may be an anodized coating or something. Love the trip so far.
greetings form Perth. Your videos are AWESOME! Keep up your amazing work. oh and some suggestions can you do a Co op with the Mighty car mods guys and possibly invite them to the bush were you guys do some off roading, you could even meet up with the guys that did "The Green Way Up" and do some adventure with them and it would be more interesting to see you go out into the bush with Jase and Simon from All4Adventure.
Also could you talk us through your shower and dump routine - do you bag it up, bury it or use a chemical loo ? Thanks for all the hard work you put into these vids :)
Great video Ronny. Too bad it takes a lot of money to ship a vehicle into Australia as well as fly two adults there. I would love to bring my modified F-350 4x4 pick-up from the late 1970's out for some wheeling with your group.
theres a lot of awesome surf spots through there. big southern swells....especially off the coast of walpole (if ya brave enough). lol. but dont forget your jetski!
At 25:40 you were talking about only getting one cooker between the three of you for the next long trip. Would it notbe a good idea to have the extra one handy incase there is a problem with the one you are carrying just as a contingency? Also if ond vehicle has to abandon the trip midway for any reason and break away from the group it may pose a problem not being self reliant. just a thought. Loving your videos Ron!! :)
interesting point, not something I have thought of before. I always carry my personal mini popup stove with 2 butane bottles. BUT it does raise the issue of splitting the group for whatever reason and not having Jacks, tools etc.
+Ronny Dahl (4 Wheeling in W.A.) thank you for the validation! :) i love the way your rigs are kitted out in Australia. looking forward to the next video!
Ronny what equipment do you use for your time lapses? They are EPIC! Love the videos, I'm trying to make some offroad videos myself on my channel, let me know what you think if you have any time to spare, I'm looking for ways to improve!
Hey fellow viewers, I'm 17 and planning my 'schoolies'. I just bought a 16 ft boat to go with my '01 lux, and wanting to visit WA. Any suggestions for boat-friendly trips anywhere south of Broome? Accomodating for 10 weeks return from Brisi. Thx
Man, your rig is insane. But I just wonder sometimes. If you cage the tray in or put a canopy on it, why not just own a wagon since it's not really ever going to be a real ute ever again? Btw I own a dual cab 4x4 too
+Jesse Ansell we didn't have fires as the ban was just coming into being lifted so no fires until towards the end of the trip. BUT if we had some we would bring our own and collect some at least 10kms from our next camp as around camp is always ripped bare
+Jesse Ansell stuff we use is generally jarrah which is a red hard wood it's also what you can buy in bags mostly. Outback travel it's whatever you can find. Gumtrees being a good one and there are plenty of them just finding one that's not half eaten by ants is the main challenge.
Hi Ronnie. I wanted to get a 79 series as well, but the different widths is the front and back have me concerned. What vehicle would you have gone with, if you had not purchased the 79 series? Thanks for all you do.
I was going to restore an 80 series and put some kind of Diesel V8 in it VDJ 70 motor or a duramax. VJD only because parts are everywhere... But then the Dual cab was released
Ronny, you've probably answered this somewhere but do you manage your drones from in the trucks while youre moving? Or does some one go ahead or stay back to get the shots?
Helo Roni, I'm watchin again becouse I considerar this the best video you had done, beautiful beach, chalenging places, blue water and good cars. I'm from Brasil, and I have a Troller, it's a Brasilian jeep, do you know?
Thanks for your vídeos! It's a inspiration for me.
Hi Ronny! I just wanted to say thank you for putting so much time into making great quality videos!

Ha, good to see you all on the(off)road again.
totally like the drone added features to videos
Another fantastic video, the time lapse in particular is very cool. Looking forward to the next episode.
great to see you guys back down the south west
Awesome! Bring on the next 3!
Stunning to watch
VERY NICE OFF ROAD TRIP !
Mystery Camera person did a great job!!
This is perhaps the best I've seen you do in terms of the shots and editing. The panning time lapse shots are always cool.
another amazing Vid!! Keeps my Overlanding dreams alive. Ronny, you should do a Vid about Fuel. How much you carry, the tank sizes and planning the gas stops.
Cheers Mate
Really really really love the adventure videos
Hey Ronnie, I'm really liking the regular Sunday uploads. Awesome to wake up to a cool video, enjoy a coffee and lazy Sunday morning. Keep up the great work!
I've had Toyo MTs on my Jeep and every time I get in mud, it's sheer pleasure.
Thanks for the time lapse at the end. A part of you video style I enjoy.
Ive got tens of thousands of miles on Toyo Open Country MTs. They do just about everything quite well, not perfect. But my favorite bit about them is that they roll round for 30-40k miles (Jeep) without any weight issues or sound issues. Toyo makes a great tire.
All of your vídeos are so nivel
Done! Makes want to se more!
Maurice from NYC
Love your work Ronny
Ronny thank you from Costa Rica, every day I learn more 👍

Great start to a Sunday morning!
Got to love the good old notification.
nice one Ronny looks a great camping spot and the end of the vid there...
Those roof top tents are awesome, i got to play around with them when i worked at Rays Outdoors back where they were still open in midland. hard to sell though.
Keep it up mate this hands down is way better than any of the mainstream 4x4 shows
Thanks for your great videos Ronny,
Greetings from Bolivia!
Amazing video as always!
Ahh can't wait to get my 100 series running
Wayne's top camping gear should include his hat, awesome.
WJ from MD USA
Awesome guys!

Björn Ahlskog Or co op with Gall Boys, and his Kedron Caravans))
Björn Ahlskog maaaaaad
or co op with All 4 Adventurer boys
Björn Ahlskog I honestly think that Marty and Moog don't really have the slightest interest in off road vehicles.
This would be AMAZING
love the time lapse, awesome. 👍
Loving the truck M8! Shes looking beautiful😍 loving the vlog great stuff 👍🏼
Regards from across the world in Kenya.
More great content Ronny. I just got a drone and some other camera gear I'll be using to record my adventures traveling through Central America. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thumbs-up before I even watched it :)
Another great video Ron and team. I would love to go on an adventure with you lot in my Jimny......Don't laugh because it wouldn't be me stuck in the sand.
Cheers lads.
Great video!
Good on ya ronny
Your vids are truly inspiring 👍👍
Hey mate... Hope you stop in Denmark and have a look around on your trip. Cool Town one of my favourite in Australia.

Another great video Ronny! Have you considered adding some footage of the prep work you do for the vehicle and your kit? A sort of behind the scenes of the organization would be interesting I think!
I'd love to see an Aussie cherokee. Theres a huge aftermarket so i bet a modified for it would be interesting.
awesome video!!
need to see another D22 tho
Great filming, invite someone with the most capable 4x4 Jeep Rubicon, it will make it even more interesting.
epic as usual now just gotta wait for next part hahahaha
Good video.
Cant wait to see you guys tackle bornholm, ive been there and done it twice and both times there was atleast 1 car that had broken down, my mates gearbox blew on it too and seen lots of tyres off beads
yes that was interesting, you'll have to wait...
Thanks again Ronny for the awesome content! Would love to see a Dmax or a 75 Series in modified.
LOVED IT
Ronny Dahl i love my Toyo Open Country MT but they will wear fast rotate rotate rotate!
Bummer about the tent pole. Looks like it was brittle to break rather than just split as aluminum poles usually will, may be an anodized coating or something.
Love the trip so far.

I was at cheynes beach on the long weekend.
look at you setting up camp while the sun is still out
+steven shephard I made sure that was on record 😂
Also could you talk us through your shower and dump routine - do you bag it up, bury it or use a chemical loo ? Thanks for all the hard work you put into these vids :)
+Science James dig a hole and bury it. Burn paper in the hole if no fire risk.
Shower I just use the ocean and rinse myself with fresh water after
it must have made a nice change setting up in daylight.
Yeah it was a bit different :D
Great video Ronny. Too bad it takes a lot of money to ship a vehicle into Australia as well as fly two adults there. I would love to bring my modified F-350 4x4 pick-up from the late 1970's out for some wheeling with your group.
Ronny at the 6.00min mark that beach in the background has a cool cave hidden in the rocky coast 👌👍
theres a lot of awesome surf spots through there. big southern swells....especially off the coast of walpole (if ya brave enough). lol. but dont forget your jetski!

I'm still craving for a defender to be in a video Ronny!! haha
Modified will have a 130 soon
Awesome! I'm looking forward to it!!
Get in !
Ronny, please do a video on how to cook a pork roast in your weber Q
Hello guys - what's the difference between a swag and a tent ? The swags look really heavy for their size !
When does part 2 come out?!
have you ever ripped the tire off the rim by airing down to 16/18 psi and not having beadlock wheels?
Hey mate, what are the plastic storage boxes you guys use, in the back of the trucks? That is exactly what I am after. Cheers
Hey there Ronny. When is your old man gonna be back on the road with that Jeep?Keep up the great work.
hopefully soon, he has had a lot of trouble with getting parts to AUS. Been 2 months+ now
Bugger.
Waiting for the 130 Defender
Ronny what's your vehicle like in the sand now that the wheel offset has been corrected? Can you tell the difference?
Ronny what equipment do you use for your time lapses? They are EPIC! Love the videos, I'm trying to make some offroad videos myself on my channel, let me know what you think if you have any time to spare, I'm looking for ways to improve!
Hey Ronny any idea when Brian's jeep will be back on the road. Hopefully before the big trips you're doing .
He wont make the next two (Pilbara filmed & Goldfields filming next week). Should be ready for the Kimberley however
What brand are those storage containers people keep seem to be having
Rhino case from Bunnings
Hey fellow viewers, I'm 17 and planning my 'schoolies'. I just bought a 16 ft boat to go with my '01 lux, and wanting to visit WA. Any suggestions for boat-friendly trips anywhere south of Broome? Accomodating for 10 weeks return from Brisi. Thx
Great vic and really good filming - what Drone were you chaps using?
Man, your rig is insane. But I just wonder sometimes. If you cage the tray in or put a canopy on it, why not just own a wagon since it's not really ever going to be a real ute ever again? Btw I own a dual cab 4x4 too
once you see the final build (stage 6) then you'll see what the end goal is ;)
What brand again is the electric rooftop tent?
the Clapper Tent!
XTM tent, think its from BCF
Hi Ronny, not sure if this has been asked before, but what do you do for a living, apart from off roading of course!??
hey ronny, where did you purchase the green plastic tool box? and what brand please?
I am oddly curious what kind of wood do you guys use for campfires down there? Do you collect it all near camp or pack it out?
+Jesse Ansell we didn't have fires as the ban was just coming into being lifted so no fires until towards the end of the trip. BUT if we had some we would bring our own and collect some at least 10kms from our next camp as around camp is always ripped bare
Thanks. :) Any guess on species you have available most often?
+Jesse Ansell stuff we use is generally jarrah which is a red hard wood it's also what you can buy in bags mostly. Outback travel it's whatever you can find. Gumtrees being a good one and there are plenty of them just finding one that's not half eaten by ants is the main challenge.
AWESOME!!!!!
What time of the year was this filmed?
March, fire bans just lifting which is why we planned it.
soyez le premier!
What was the name of that ground tarp that the sand went right through?
Cgear matt, quite expensive but they are worth it, just don't put it too close to the firepit as they melt very easy
Great! Thanks Ronny. I grew up on the Texas gulf coast and never new about those mats. Gotta try one.
Im curios, why don't you guys use chase lights? With all that dust I would think it would be mandatory.
Chase lights? as in similar to fog lights?
Yes but they are usually high on the rig and in back. Its so people can follow you through the dust and see if you've stopped.
Where's the Jeep? Is it finished yet?
Ronny, you've probably answered this somewhere but do you manage your drones from in the trucks while youre moving? Or does some one go ahead or stay back to get the shots?
+Tommy LC80 a bit of both mate depends on what and where but both situations seem to work on most trips
These Toyota trucks would sell like out fast if they ever came to the U.S
Where is your dad and his green jeep? Brian has not been along for a long time now!
I think Ronny said he had an engine failure
yeah it blew up and he rebuilding it and putting a stroker kit in it
Bummer. That Jeep seems a little new to be having engine failure. Then again being a jeep I'm not all that surprised by it.
Ronny just wondering are those extended shackles /drop down shackles for more flex ? Btw really like the chanel
that chain tho 😬
what song do you use for intro? or custome made
How much fuel you guys carry
