I didn't know that was a thing, but I am intrigued. On the one hand, I would most definitely be ok with a tattoo involving my wife's ashes, as she is the most loved person in my life, on the other hand, I would not want her to die to provide me with ink materials. The only other person I could think of to honor in such a way would be my mother, unfortunately, a contentious family dynamic has resulted in just one family member holding on to my mother's ashes, with nobody else being allowed to have any.
@@calvingreene90 how is it the same? In an ash tattoo you are just useing leftover carbon no different than any other ash. In cannibalism you are eating the flesh of a dead person. Although there are some tribes that have a ritualized cannabalism of their dead as some part of the funeral right or some such🤔 it's not my place to judge them. As long as you're not killing people for their meat I suppose 🤔 that's quite the question though. I guess it depends on ones personal morals
I have 13 different wrench sets. But I always go back to the ones I have owned for over 30 years now. No, it wasn't a gift or anything sentimental to that wrench set. I just know how they feel and seem just to fit my hands better. I will other sets if necessary but will go out my way to use that particular set. I believe it is about familiarity. Oddly, i know a couple people who've had tattoos with loved ones ashes. A bit odd, but harmless.
each to their own
I don't understand how that doesn't cause infection...
@@Mami94-832 burn anything hard enough you'll become sterile that and historically black tattoos were made with charcoal bass thanks

A tattoo with ashes of a loved one might be unusual, but makes just a valid memorial as the glass jewelry/ornaments offered by some companies.
Yes that is a very real thing with the Broom in the military
"disorder and confusion!" he cursed LOL
The tattoo one I can understand not strange to me guess it’s cultural or something
i think there were stories of people doing it with pet ash as well
@biganime40 It's gotta be cultural. I would never consider it and it's very strange to me.
My younger brother actually actually has a tattoo made with my grandfather's ashes. I don't see problem?
Would you have a problem with ritual cannibalism? There is much a sameness.

Carbon is not ash.
You could just as easily claim after someone is dead the body is just meat.
Honestly, i have no problem with it, but i can see how others might... Cultural differences i guess
