INFJ here married to an ENTP. He totally gets my need to be alone. He encourages my introvertness by buying my cozy jammies, books, and he brings me snacks! I encourage his Extrovertness by encouraging him to make time for his BFF and take time to do the things he loves like car racing. I also bring him food and snacks when he's been in that work zone for too long. I think food might be our love language. LOL

I am a perpetually single ENTP who has refused to settle down for years... and I've met the first INFJ of my life recently, and she's knocked me off my feet... bewildered. I've truly never met anyone I wanted to be around more in my life, it feels surreal.

I think the entp/infj speak the same language or at least are able to communicate/understand. But the strenghts of one is the "weakness" of the other. So they can learn from each other. The infj functions heavy on the Fe. While the entp is more Ti. But we both have the same functions so we can still understand. The infj is about the group but forgets the self. The entp is more the other way around. The infj needs to be more "selfish"...better said assertive. The infj is structured which the entp can use a little bit more of. But the infj is too structured too strict on themselves and we need to relax and be a bit more "chaotic" every once in a while. To shack things up and see other perspectives.
I saw a lovely series which centres around an entp/infj couple. Its fascinating. They are both independent people not needing anyone...both little bit different from the group. But when these two get together they don't just get along well but they make each other better. Its a symbiotic team so to speak. He makes her stronger...more "do what I want ask permission from the group later". She starts her journey as a bit of an emotional pushing bag. And ends up as the queen. To still use Fe but at the same time be a bit more freed from the prison of the needs of others. Be healthy and happy yourself before caring for others.
And she develops his Fe. He goes from borderline n*rcissistic and rude. To seeing when she is stressing herself out worrying about others and in a playful way getting her out of her head and do a little sensing to relax. I think the infj might need that especially if we are stuck in the ni-ti loop. And I think she functions better in daily structured life...but when sh!t hits the van and you need to navigate through chaos...he is better with that. They made a kickass team. Balance within the relationship so to speak; ti and fe, structure and chaos, introverted and extroverted. Its ying and yang.

It's not that easy though, ENTP can get annoyed by INFJ slow and often reluctant progress. INFJ can get annoyed by ENTP's harsh criticism.

@@beiyongzui harsh criticism or honest truth that needs to be addressed to make other person better, stuff nobody else will tell them and a blindspot.

@brandonschwab3692 What about honest "truths" without being harsh to adress it in an useful way to avoid rightful reluctance ? INFJs can also get annoyed by ENTPs childish attitude. Lack of social skills and respect are also blindspot that need to be addressed but you can tell it respectfully.
