Have you played Beach Buggy Racing? It takes a month or 2 to get good, but its one of the best mobile racing games that exists.
Now we need a reality series where Gordon goes to peoples homes and helps them achieve a highscore in this game, before coming back 6 months later to realize that they foreclosed on their house.

I love how Gordon just stands there in the corner throughout the entirety of the gameplay like he's doing a let's play. Literally all that's missing is just a big sign above him saying 'LIVE GORDON REACTION'.

There was a really weird time period where Hollywood didn’t understand video games and just shat out what is basically bloatware
Now we live in a time where ALL games are bloatware…😳🙄
Games count as merchandise to the film productions or the film companies that finance the studio. Through licensing, game studios can produce what ever they want. Licensing back in the 2000s was very lax. Just sell X IP license to Y video game company, with very few conditions set for the quality itself, which meant a lot of these games were just produced to make a quick buck. Only after the 2010s and through companies like Warner Bros. having their own dev teams were games more authentic and comparable to their films. Assets and content are shuffled by the mother company to benefit some of their biggest games. Disney had this approach much earlier through Buena Vista Games, but they were pretty much closed by the advent of AAA games. Licensing today is also a lot more strict. Not saying they cant be cash grabs now, but that they are much more tied to the IP holder now a days than they were back in the Wii days, were there was game for EVERYTHING!
was gonna say this brought war flashbacks to the fact that a game was made a video game about my comfort movie. the only good thing was that it gave bonus and unseen content HOWEVER, that does NOT excuse it from not only not being needed AT ALL but was not the same thing at all. Like sir this is a wendy’s… 😭

Gabi, this is great timing leading the video off with Gordon's terrible grilled cheese sandwich. He was on the Mythical Kitchen channel today and came right out and admitted it was an awful grilled cheese, he knew it was, but he was up against it when it came to time to finish the shoot (without particularly good equipment) and just rolled with it.

I would love to see a high budget game of Hell's Kitchen with actually good looking food, a story with developed characters maybe like a visual novel, and Gordon saying more than 3 lines of dialogue.
I've always wanted a competitive Hell's Kitchen game. You and 9 other players, duke it out in 5v5 kitchens with people being eliminated one by one like the show. Would need to be a well paced game as the last two chefs could be playing for an hour otherwise, but I think it could be a really solid bit of fun if done right.
I would sacrifice quite a lot for a hells kitchen game in the vein of the godfather 2 game

His delivery of "The doors are open right now" sounds very clean, which makes me think it was recorded in a booth and not taken from a random episode.
There is a technique with sound design for to specify what part of decibels you turn of. If there are distinct background sounds you can sort of stretch the audio by sort of nullifying the 50 decibels while keeping the 75 decibels.

For those that may not know, in Kitchen Nightmares most of the time those businesses are already too far gone, and are on a trajectory to close no matter what kind of makeover is done in a week. Plus quite a few owners usually revert back their old ways of operating, which causes them to close expeditiously.😵😅
I just like to see truly how far gone they are. Some of their freezers and coolers are just wild. Idk it’s like watching a dumpster fire for entertainment. It’s not surprising they can’t implement the new practices even though it’s handed to them on a silver platter.

as I watch this I came up with an idea. Gordon Ramsay as a narrator in an Overcooked game. Imagine the absolute chaos of 4 people "participating in Overcooked gameplay" with Gordon Ramsay yelling at everyone at the same time.
He was also a Footballer, he played for Oxford United (I think for their junior team) and was scouted by the Rangers F.C., which didn't end up going anywhere - cooking was his fallback career

I watched Mythical Kitchen's Last Meal video with him today, and for some reason I was reminded of playing this game as a kid on our family computer. This feels like fate.
Can the next video be on how awful shopping in targets have become? Not only is everything behind glass but the store is a MESS because of the customers/ not enough employees/ toxic work environments. I've talked with people in my local area and I feel so bad for the employees.
I second this! I used to work there and had to quit. The entire company is toxic, and it shouldn't even be surprised considering they can't even bother to have a union. I felt frustrated working there because they expected way too much but almost never had enough people to be productive. Guests treat you like trash, and the leaders only care about making themselves look good and push unrealistic expectations on their workers. Things definitely got rough after the Pride stuff was taken off the shelves, and it broke my heart to have to pull them off the floor. They've been pushing workers too hard to make up for whatever sales they're missing but don't realize a lot of it has to do with inflation and people just not being able to afford things. Pushing your underpaid workers is not the solution, and I can't begin to explain how mentally draining it is to work in a place that is the living embodiment of "live laugh love" in everyone's eyes but is a nightmare behind the scenes
It feels like the entire company runs on pretending to care about the employees and the customers but when push comes to shove, you're left in the dust.

In my opinion, working in retail is not worth it. Workers have gotten their lives threatened over political bs (someone had gotten a g*n pulled on them when a customer saw that they were wearing a pride themed employee shirt, joking if the bullseye was for the customer to use as a target.) Working in retail is bad enough but I've personally experienced an increase of guests growing aggressive and it's not worth risking your physical or mental health for a job that doesn't think twice about you.
