Wow you’re really energetic to tackle that block removal! I have tremendous respect for you! I wish I could help out with the torque converter but I don’t know unfortunately but I have a 1978 555 with injection pump issues and I was looking for help on RUclips and came across your video so the least I can do is say a little prayer for you and I would like to encourage you to get that old girl running again because they were the best backhoe in there day and not really that complicated! But anyway keep on trucking!😀
I have a 555 too, and know the feeling. Whoever engineered these machines must have been smoking something. As you know, just to drop the oil pan, you have to separate the whole freaking machine. Apparently they made the oil pan and engine a part of the frame, which is unnecessary as hell.
