  • Damon Stoudamire goes for his career-high in a game where the Portland Trail Blazers are missing Zach Randolph, Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Darius Miles due to injuries. His and Nick Van Exel's three-point barrage (they made 15 combined for the game) allowed the Blazers and the opposing New Orleans Hornets to set an NBA record for most combined threes in a half at 23 (the Hornets were lead by none other than Dan Dickau).
In the end, Mighty Mouse finished with probably the most scoring-oriented statline ever as he registered 54 points, yet only 1 assist and 1 steal for the game. Besides his 3 personal fouls, the rest of the boxscore columns stayed empty. January 14, 2005.

New Orleans at 4-30. And then they drafted some guy named Chris Paul.

The bad video quality of previous uploads prompted me to re-do these highlight reels which were already uploaded yesterday. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and the lost comments. But at least now these videos should be watchable.

Thanks for this man. Came late in his career but still one of my favorite games ever. Laker fan till I die but Stoudamire is my Guy. #Arizona This is how Stoudamire shoulda looked his whole career. But the blazer offense would never let him go off. They shackled him during the winning years. Smh. Rasheed, Bonzi d Anderson, they were the scorers. But everybody know damons game coming out UA was this and a few more dimes lol. Zeke knew he had a beast. But those early raptors teams were trash wit Ed pinkney and Doug Christie types. Wish Damon would've stayed in T dot and played with Vince and Mac. Would've been entirely different career. Still the best real little man ( under 6') I ever saw. Beast handle wit crazy buckets all over the gym.

Lucky you because Van Exel also went off I believe. On another tangent this backcourt had the coolest names ever, Nick Van Exel and Damon Stoudamire
