    I had high expectations for this video and I'm so glad with it!! 🥰
    I've loved Enkidu's story, I guess it was my favourite one. The arts and visual effects are also amazing!
    And a pinch of drama is always good, right? Poor Eloise, I don't like this Rancher guy very much, he seems..... dangerous. 😥
    Can't wait for the House Morrigan lore video, I'm looking forward to it! ✨✨

    Happy 4th of July, Dreadford Chronicles!
    Thanks for the new video. Love the new Volkos lore. I also love that the Volkos vampires seek to balance civility with the wild side of the wolf. Kind off similar to how we humans should operate. We must balance the savagery within with our civility. Lean towards one side and it’ll cause an imbalance. Love it. I also loved how Volkos was named and the Pamella plot twist at the end.
    I was also doing some research on traps in Vietnam. The Viet Cong knew they could not face the American military in a fair fight, because the latter is way more powerful, so the Viet Cong came up with all sorts of diabolical methods to defeat the Americans. They used a lot of traps that are cheap as they are deadly, and these traps are as mortifying as they are innovative. Punji sticks coated in excrement, swinging maces, snake pits, and stuff that’s rigged with either explosive or poisonous snakes.
    What does this have to do with Dreadford? The vampire hunters. The vampire soldier, if you have an interest in adding him in. Much of the elderly hunters of the creatures of the night could have once been soldiers in the Vietnam war who have seen firsthand how the Vietnamese held their ground against the US army. When they faced vampires fighting with supernatural powers, they can’t help but see themselves as the Vietnamese battling an enemy that is stronger than them. To fight something that is too strong, you have to be innovative. Your world, your rules.

      Happy 4th of July!! Poor Pamela, or Eloise? How's gonna be? Hahahah Yes, I know about those traps and they are vicious. Many hunters will have different backgrounds, some might be priests, others might have been soldiers in Africa. There are a lot of different walks of life among the hunters and definitely they will use everything to end this scourge. I'll keep it in mind for our characters. Glad to see you doing research and creating again! Glad you liked it the video. Thanks so much!

      I think the Hydra from the video of House Drakul would be able to do mutiple heads with his powers. Multiple arms, maybe a babelite from house Moroi, the house of the spiders. We can think of something hehehe. Thanks for your comment.

    Loved this really did. But "Volkos" does not mean wolf in Swedish. He hee. But I do not think there were vampires running around Sweden then. But I live in Sweden so who knows......My Swedish husband does like to go out at night sometimes. He hee

      We know hahaha. We made an intentional misspelling of the Russian word for Wolf: Volk, as to give a bit of a "Dracula flair" (Dracul/Dracula). It is not correct in the real world in any way, but we were trying to be creative. We went this way because in the 800's the Rus migrated to the Balkans and they were most probably Vikings. Since there is a lot of history that cannot be corroborated and a lot mythology can contradict it self a lot of the time, we do pick and chose what fits better with our storyline and mythos. Glad you liked it! Ow, in Nordic mythology there is the Draugr. They are kind of a vampire. It means "Ghost" but they are bodies of the dead that walk among the living.

      @@dreadfordchronicles Oh ok cool, yes I lived in Hungary for years and visited Romania and the Balkans many times. Not an area I am fond of for many reasons. Yes the Rus I think were Vikings and from what history says at least migrate down from the Baltics to the Balkans.
      Yes I agree the Draugr are more like a zombie in my view, all rotten and nasty. Not the charism that a vampire has! He hee. Of course a story should be a story and enjoyable, and you do a very good job making these enjoyable! I look forward to more!

    Can the Volkos drink from animal as they were humans?

    • @dreadfordchronicles
      @dreadfordchronicles  3 месяца назад +1

      We thought about explaining this in this episode but we decided against to focus on the story, but the Volkos have a ritual they can do that when they hunt in a ritualistic manner, animal blood works as human blood. It is a ritual, it takes time and it does not substitute human blood. Some people try to mass produced but with out much success.
