*This is exactly what I needed for trimming the edge of oak boards **MyBest.Tools** I also used the disk to round edges while building an oak - walnut cabinet.*
Thank you for posting. Just used mine for the first time. ok for beginners - it works so that's good enough for me on a budget. It worked as I expected, on my pallet wood, but yeah, it does "take" you although that's expected for a power tool you're not used to handling. Agreed - it is loud so I'll be popping in my ear plugs next time.
I have used this sander ALOT it's gutless and underpowered only useful for getting into slightly tighter corners. It's also utterly deafening (ear protection is a must!) and the dust extractor doesn't work at all even with a shop vac. It also has plastic gears for the drive belts compared to the cheapest generic sanders which are much more powerful and have metal gears. Only pros are the shape and speed control which you'll never use as it's so underpowered.
thankfully the dust extractor on mine works fine, so Id take it back to your retailer if you aren't getting dust in there. (if course it isn't going to catch debris coming off the belt, itself..) Good luck - hope you get what you need from it.

I guess Im pretty off topic but does anybody know of a good place to watch newly released series online?
@Noel Dakota lately I have been using FlixZone. Just google for it =)
@Garrett Cristiano yup, I have been watching on Flixzone for years myself =)
@Garrett Cristiano thanks, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it !!
@Noel Dakota you are welcome xD
Mine stoped working… found the small spring which holds the carbon against the stator is broken… where can I get another?
This belt sander is a beast. Had difficulties taming it.
I can't believe my eyes.. Wood!? 😂 Cheers for the demonstration nonetheless.. Ps hope you wore a mask 😅

No plastic gears!!! Look at ruclips.net/video/orE-JvHtLmY/видео.html
Just bought one, not expecting much from it for €35. But its only for light use. Cheap and cheerful like all parkside tools.
@@dejanjkg your mistaken the drive belt is on one metal gear from the electric motor to a plastic gear which drives the sanding belt.
Just got one for £15! Old stock.
Its shocking
stupid demo
