    Thanks very much for making time to do this. I find most 'unboxing' vids to be mostly a right load of old waffle, but you explained the capabilities and versatility perfectly and concisely. Now that I realise how much it can do I'm off down Lidl in the morning! Have subscribed, look forward to trawling your other vids and your frame build for this one. Cheers, Simon.

      Massive thanks Simon, really appreciated! I’m working on developing my videos one at a time, and trying to give my channel Structure, as I’m still relatively new to RUclips.. and feedback like this really helps! So thank you. You’re welcome on board, and thanks for subscribing. More videos to come, all the best mate! Cheers Rob👍

    I've got a few Parkies too; they're totally serviceable tools and at the right money. Thanks Rob, that was fun.

      Can’t go wrong with parkies mate.. that saying you get what you pay for.. well with parkside I think you get more than you expected to get, thanks for watching , cheers rob 👍

    A very well designed and thought out piece of kit. I think your thoughts on a frame/jig for it will make it more versatile for your needs too. Do share when done ☺ makes my b&d 40 year old belt sander look like a dinosaur 😁

    • @WeekendShedHead
      @WeekendShedHead  2 года назад

      Yeah I think the frame jig, we be pretty easy to do.. I’ve already done a few sketches, and even if I get a designated bench sander, I can be used for smaller details and portable.. when the weather picks up that is 🤞. I’ll put a video up soon on my attempt. They don’t make black and decker like they used to though 👍 cheers rob

    Just bought the Ferrex Brad nailer and stapler from Aldi, wanted one just for stapling draw bottoms really. Not used it yet but I think it will do for what I want. Good informative video again thanks for sharing 👍

      Yes I’ve seen those Brad nailers, was tempted before I bought my Clarke air Brad nailer.. which I can’t fault (as yet). Thanks for watching , cheers Rob 👍

    The one tool I don't have lol. I used to have a very large disk sander in the UK but unfortunately was unable to bring it with me. Thanks Rob, I'll keep an eye on our local Lidl, as I could use one of these from time to time

      I’m surprised you haven’t got one mate😆, yeah I’ve got a random orbital sander as well, which is good for finishing! But the belt sander will be great for really eating wood! Defo recommended it if you come across one, the thinner end might will be good for cleaning up welds, which I want to try soon! , cheers rob

      @@WeekendShedHead lol, my welds don't need cleaning up :D If I need to grind one flat, I use an angle grinder

    The front details is great. Don’t see that on many belt sanders.

    Good review Rob. Why pay lots more for a fancy name if Parkside is 99% as good if not just as good. 👍 Regards, Fred

      Thanks Fred, i agree.. parkside really are a cut above on budget power tools. I do believe in pay as much as you can afford, but when there are so many tools that come in handy (want/need) .. there’s a limit😆 thanks again Fred, cheers Rob

    Rob, ive tried the said adjusting screw but still once it i start it, it wont stay true(belt). It keeps sliding to the near side & began to wear away at the plastic. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.
