One thing I've noticed on this tool is that the metal base plate gets grind down by inside of the sanding belt... which accumulates a lot metal particles, even when you sand wood... The wear on this plate is most obvious near the rear drum, seen around @0:40 in your video. This can be somewhat alleviated by using non-overlapping belts (instead of the overlapping ones sold by Lidl/Parkside); the non-overlapping belts use a thin piece of foil as connector. That also cuts down on the thump-thump-thump you'd otherwise experience with this tool in operation (can be heard in your video around @3:30).
the problem is with the front roller made from aluminum, which produces lots of alu oxide which is abrasive. it destroys the belt paper, metal parts including bearings. All parts, especially the paper inside gets black from alu oxide in this machine. this should be fixed first

Super Video 👍. Bei dem Preis musste ich auch zuschlagen. Wenn man bedenkt, dass die anderen günstigen Geräte das doppelte kosten...War bei dir nur eine Schraubzwinge dabei? Ich konnte den Bandschleifer mit den zwei Zwingen schon ziemlich gut an der Tischkante fixieren

Nach Ca 5 Monaten lässt sich die bandfuhrung nicht mehr zentrieren .....
Wenn Du den Kassenzettel noch hast.... so what :-)
