My sister and I are going to tackle the side dishes, mainly the duchess potatoes, and the pumpkin Creme brûlée. We are tired of the old boring thanksgiving. Looking forward to it!
Hi Beth, I am 12 and live in the UK. Just wanted to say how much i LOVE your videos!! Please keep making them so that when i am older i can host great parties and events. Thanks for the videos :) Xxxx
I watched this video when it first came out, and after 2 years of wanting to make this dinner, I'm finally getting a chance! My friends are coming over this weekend and I am cooking up Friendsgiving for them. Can't wait :)
I am only 16, and my mother, although still delicious, has made the same Thanksgiving meals every year since I was born. This video made me mouth water and just seems so so so delicious, I cross my fingers my mom will give this a try because it just looks so yummy!
Hmm not on this menu. But you could just scale everything down, and cut the recipes in half. The only thing is, the roulade really needs to be this size to roll. So you could either make and have left overs or just stuff the presto under the skin, and roast without rolling. Enjoy!
Make all the night before with yummy coffee cake muffins, for sure. Christmas eve is always very busy at our house - with entertaining and santa duties. It would be nice to relax a bit more on Christmas morning - and everyone is usually really hungry.
Excellent question. And yes it does. I used ramekins that were 3/4 cup in size, and filled them with 1/2 cup of the mixture for the cooking time specified. I actually think that is a good healthy serving :) Hope that helps!
Thank you for this menu, Beth! I know this video is 10 years old now but I just came across it maybe a month ago. I have been testing each recipe (just 1 or 2 a week) and each one is amazing. I am serving this for Thanksgiving this year and feel confident I will blow my family away. I am adding a fig and brie braid (also your recipe) for the appetizer, a kale salad and focaccia. Sooo excited.
This is one of the best menu on your channel. I made the turkey roulade about 3x and even did it with chicken also. The duchess potato, I could never make enough😀
Thank you sooo much Beth! I'm actually only 16 and I wanted to help out quite a bit this year, and your videos are such a help to me, I dont know how to thank you (and your parents haha :)
I am so excited that I have found your videos Beth. Have been watching them for a few hours. Love them all. Looking forward to trying out some of these awesome recipes. Thanks so much. I have subscribed here and also to Entertaining with Beth. Thanks bunches!
The crem brulee looks delish! I didn't realize you can just pop them under the broiler. Here I thought I had to have a fancy creme brulee burner! haha.
Made the Cranberries for the first time ever and you're right Beth, never use canned again! The Brussle Sprouts and Pumpkin Creme Brulee were big hits as well. Thanks so much+ keep up these great videos!
I love you you make the best and most informative and best quality videos and I'm 12 and when I grow up as get my only family and host my own parties I will definitely go back to your videos so PLEASE keep making them I love you and you videos
Love these recipes and video. Thanks Beth for including the planing portion. One of the hardest parts planning out the timing of everything and it looks like a lot can be done ahead of time. Love this!!! Thank you!!👍🏼😄
I helping cook at my mother in-law and I'm going to make everything but the Sauteed Brussels Sprouts thank you so much I hope all come out well cus I truly want to show her up... LOL thanks alot, Love your ch.
Love all your videos Beth and I can't wait for your next video since My family and I are vegetarians! Keep them coming and always look far ward watching them every week:)
Amazing! I'm getting hungry just watching! Thank you Beth, I really love your recipes! I was wondering if sometime in the future you can do some recipes for someone who is lactose-intolerant. My mother suffers an intestinal disease and her stomach is very sensitive, so she can't eat butter, dairy, and anything greasy or fried. I'm having trouble thinking of what to cook for her and she has lost a lot of weight ever since she had this disease. I want to cook her something nice! Thank you!
they all look so yummy!!!I really enjoy all of ur menu, beth. It makes me so happy just by watching them, tho I can't make any of those, since I'm in asia, and i don have an oven here.lol.
The more I am watching your videos the more I am falling in love with your channel. You are such a perfection and a big round of applause to your team !
I went to the Kin community website to check out the delicious Brussels sprout recipe. The recipe says "Roasted Brussels sprouts with prosciutto and toasted Hazelnuts." And unless I'm mistaken or going insane, the written recipe itself doesn't mention a single thing about the toasted hazelnuts, like when to add them, what to do with them, nothing. Not to be a stickler, but if this is an error it should be fixed at some point, even though the hazelnuts are clearly shown in the video, some people may go right to the written stuff and skip the video. BUT I hate being the obnoxious one who points out mistakes. this was a great set of recipes and I will definitely be trying some of them :) Edit: I didn't realize that this video is like 3 years old already.... LOL
I saw your bake turkey video yesterday I love it so I came back today for Thanksgiving sides omg...I'm gonna surprise my wife and kids with these beautiful side you prepared and the homemade cranberry sauce mmmmmm... oh yeah I just subscribe to your channel...I gonna show off my cooking skills this Thanksgiving
Made this menu with a little variations for my friends today and they loved it! I'm 22 and from Germany and I just love to cook, and those recipes were really great. Thank you! :D
I made the turkey breast. It was so juicy and delicious. I made mashed sweet potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts with red onions and low carb creme brûlée for dessert and I also made low carb pumpkin pecan bread. I used monk fruit sugar
Awesome video, will be my 2014 menu for thanksgiving, one problem though, you forgot to mention the measurements for the Cream Brulee, how much heavy cream and sugar? Cant wait to try these recipes, thank u
Aw thanks! :) Yes the game plan is key! I personally do it with myself everything I entertain! So I thought you guys might find it helpful too! Testing recipes today for another fun party I'm going to share with you in a few weeks, A Fondue Party! Stay tuned it promises to be a yummy one! xx B
Hmmm, I don't think this is a good idea. Mostly because self-brining Turkeys already have a lot of salt, and flavoring already injected into them. Brining on top of that may be "overdoing it" and I'm not sure what it would do to the texture of the meat? it might breakdown and turn mushy? Better to either skip the brining, or buy a fresh turkey that isn't self-basting and brine. :) Hope that helps? Enjoy!
Yes of course, they would still be very good. The ricer is really if you want to be a show off, but not necessary for results that are still REALLY good! Just cook your potatoes long enough so that they are really soft. That will cut down on any lumps! Enjoy! :)
Dear Beth, I made this last year and it was delicious. I received lots of complements, thank you. I wanted to do some of the recipes from this episode, but I can't find the one for the cranberry sauce. any suggestions?
Oh Beth, you made my mouth watering just watch the entire clip. Love all the recipes, though pumpkin creme brulee is the most creative one. Will try to bake it soon.
OMG, this menu is stunning! It is seriously rad to get that wide eye look of awe from your guests. I swear it makes me almost feel like a superhero. I think this menu is definitely going to give me that feeling again. :)
Hmm, I'm not sure I would recco making them in aluminum cups. The metal would get to hot and probably do something "funky" to the custards. Better to either do it in heat safe glass, like pyrex ramenkins, or you could also make 1 big cream brulee in a heat safe casserole and serve family style. That would be fun too. But definitely opt for ceramic or heat safe glass over any kind of metal.
Oh that's a good idea! But we should make it a giveaway, where you guys could win the list! Let me see if I can work on that. So glad you like the videos!
anyone else have to sing scarborough fair in their choir class and now expects thyme to always follow rosemary? because i definitely expected her to say it! are you going to Scarborough Fair parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme remember me to one who lives there she once was a true love of mine
hello.i like your every dishes.but I like this recipe very much, and my husband really like turkis dishes.i am gonna make this recipe in this weekend.i want more nyc and delicious chicken recipes.thank you very much to helping me making my husband happy from your dishes.
Since we have our Thanksgiving plans set already, I would love to do this as a post-Thanksgiving/pre-Christmas meal for everyone! I'll let you know how it goes :) Thank you for all of these amazing recipes!
Yes of course! Just add the vanilla extract as the very last step (once the cream mixture is mixed with the eggs). Enjoy! And good luck with those candied pecans! LOL! No Trader Joes where you are? :)
Oh my god! I love the idea of making the turkey gravy while roasting the turkey. The Duchess Potatoes and the Pumpkin Creme Brulee look so yummy! I've watched all your videos and I LOVE them! I like that you include the "Game Plan" at the end and I love it whenever your videos give little tips on how to successfully pull off a certain theme! So happy to watch your videos!! =D
@EntertainingWithBeth Thank you lady :) yes we do have a trader joes. It is just really far from home. So i stick to sprouts, safeway, and frys. Maybe you can do a special on how to candie nuts for the holidays :) just a thought. Happy Thanksgiving! God Bless your family.
Hey Beth! I'm trying to make the rookie turkey, some mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and your garlicky beans. When do you think I should make the the mashed potatoes and the beans?
I made the entire meal for Christmas Dinner! My first dinner party was a hit!!! Thank you Beth, but now they expect to be invited next Christmas :( !!!!

hi Beth, love these recipes...can u also please make a video on how to clean the dishes used to make this feast...thats what scares me the most to throw a big party..especially the ones like the rack u used to bake the turkey in this video, the baking tray...i think those r the tough ones...thank u...
My sister and I are going to tackle the side dishes, mainly the duchess potatoes, and the pumpkin Creme brûlée. We are tired of the old boring thanksgiving. Looking forward to it!

Great menu. Love the pumpkin brulee idea instead of pie.
This is THE Thanksgiving meal I've dreamed of serving AND eating!!!
Do you mean 3 1/2 inch diameter? Or 3 1/2 cup ramenkins? Because yes the baking time will vary depending on size :)

Sure at any grocery store. In the spice aisle. They come in a jar and usually include 2.

Dear Beth, I made this last year and it was delicious. I received lots of complements, thank you. I wanted to do some of the recipes from this episode, but I can't find the one for the cranberry sauce. any suggestions?

You bet! This brine works great with a whole Turkey. You may just need to double the recipe in order for it to completely submerge a whole Turkey!
Ha! Yes! Love hearing that! Isn't it 10x better as well! :)
First time I watched any of her videos and she is so cute! I love the way she talks!
This is gourmet fine dining at its finest
Brussel sprouts are my favorite veggie
