- Hey everyone! I chopped all my hair off for locks of love on March 25, 2014 at Faye Judson Salon in Portland. I love it! It's so free and fun. I think anyone that wants to get a short hair cut should, because it's really not that big of a deal, and I haven't seen a bad pixie cut yet so GO FOR IT!(: Hope you like it(:

I was scared to get a pixie cut too, but once I got it done, I felt so much better, it was so worth it, my hair was falling out so much, since I cut it no hair falls out, really needed it, I dyed it way too much, I shaved my head once, 7 years ago, then I dyed it again and thought nope no more, I'll get a pixie cut instead :)
I love short hair, only could keep it to my shoulders, that's how far I'll go then I get over it. I like to change my hairstyle a lot.

I have a pixie and I'm growing it out now (I like to change my hair up often). When I first got it cut it was razored in the back and now the back is almost to my shoulders. And my layers are almost even. My shortest layer is almost to my neck line.

I'm getting my pixie cut in approximately 2 hours and I'm showing my hair dresser your hair because I love it so much ❤️ so much that I want it on my head :')

I genuinely hated it for around a week, but now I love it. I got tons of compliments and no bad comments. Because my hair is thinker that hers I needed to get it a little longer on the sides (because it would stick up) , other than this it turned out almost exactly the same. Well worth it and much easier to wash harder to style tho. Let me know how yours turns out! Good luck

Aw I'm chuffed. Yeah second that, it the best decision I've ever made with my hair and if you don't like it it grows back. But I'm sure you will love it, if your thinking about it and have done for a long time there no reason you wouldn't :)

Okay so I would like to get a pixie cut but I'm really scared too. I'm not sure what it would look like or (sounds stupid) what people would think. I asked some friends and they were like "oh my god no! I love your long hair!" But I'm tired of my long hair.

I know I shouldn't but it's hard, I've always had problems with caring what people think too much. I am going to get my haircut though, it is what I want so I don't see why I shouldn't get it.

Yeah sometimes I think they could be the reason I care too much about what people think of me, considering the fact that everything I do gets fucking criticised
I totally get it and I'm assuming you're a teenager or pretty young so that's why it bothers you so much. Coming from someone who's probably your age and has a pixie cut I'll be honest no one says anything about my hair other than girls saying how much they love it.
Whether or not you choose to cut it, your friends shouldn't influence you!

I’ve actually been meaning to ask my parents if I could get a pixie cut, but I’m EXTREMELY nervous they’ll say no, that it won’t fit my face shape, or that I won’t like it, or feel like it’s bad. Other people I’ve seen, it fits them amazingly well, and, my hair is a little bit lower than my shoulder blades at the moment, but I really want to go shorter ^^ Not sure what to do ;;

Would this look good on a 13 year old girl? My niece wants it and I've been looking to see what cuts would look best for her. Also would it still look that great if she wasn't wearing make up?
YES! I would leave the top longer though and have it be asymmetrical, so longer on one side in the front (kind of like bangs). Having a longer pixie cut adds more of girlie touch too it in my opinion, so not wearing makeup wont bring out the more harsh lines in the face(:

Hey! That's so awesome that you're wanting to get a pixie! I brought a few pictures of things I liked and didn't like. I have a "symmetrical pixie" which means its basically a Mohawk (the same on both sides). I also said I wanted a lot of texture and variety. So that's why we went with the symmetrical so I could wear it in a hawk, or slicked back, or to the side. (:

I said I wanted a symmetrical pixie cut! meaning it's exactly the same on both sides. kind of like a Mohawk that doesn't go back all the way. the middle is longer than the sides. so if I were to spike everything up it would make an upside-down V on my head, like a party hat. kinda make sense?
