We Found an Abandoned Bunker Hidden in the Woods!

- In this explore we visit a historical WW2 location buried in the woods.
Built during the second world war, this steel reinforced bunker was used as part of the UKs coastal defence in the Atlantic.
It was used to aid efforts in the D Day invasion and later was used by government and civil defence groups as a way of communication in the Cold War.

That was once again an awesome explore. Loved when Ed and Ned poked their heads through those hatches, kind of Monty pythonesque gave my wife a bit of a giggle. My wife guessed that those were baby bottles because she watched call the midwife. A quick exit from there and a missed opportunity to explore more but still worth watching.
OMG, the interesting places you fine. That old "Bunker" in it's heyday was probably very active, with a lot of workers. Now it's just a very old and abandoned weird place thats been gutted for anything of value. Those baby bottles were a strange find. Why would those be there? Thanks Alex, Ned, and Eddie. That was quite the place , probably WW11 a radio station for inland operations . It was very secure in its day and probably manned by a good many people . Thank You for the look round , and thanks to Eddy for the look through some of the walls . You had to scarper out but that just added to the excitement . Evening all wtf has Pompeye been on have you been feeding him all the blue smarties or something he was running around like a 12. Year old boy after his girlfriend. And then when you heard that car he was off like Bambi you’d forget he was suffering from a bad back and legs.

badger's are not viscous in England, they live a peaceful life in the woods ,that is until the hunters come to gas them 😢😱.
I've only seen photo's of American, badgers and I wouldn't like to cross paths with one. My British / American daughter went to school in England for 18 months, she taught the sweet little English kids some songs like 'dead puppy's are no fun' I had to pretend she wasn't mine 🤣

The feeding bottles are from the 1950 60s. I remember my mum having those ones in the cupboard and I'm 67 so yeah 50s 60s great explore thank you 😊😊😊

Crazy that is sat on some ones land a logging yard and looked like some body might of lived in the caravan it would cost alot of money but be one of a kind house and would be great as well great find some right old stuff left in there as well 👍

@@GPNeve I thought the same thing since there was a bird/bat earlier on and then later when it spooked Eddie, but you don't see a bird into frame and it actually looks like a hand holding something rectangular like a phone or mirror or something. it could be a bat/bird but I highly doubt it from what I see. my opinion only

Not a telephone exchange or aaor bud this was Hampshires emergency council bunker basically a backup if the other one was destroyed well and truly documented on 28dayslater
The reason there is no blast doors as its so remote it was highly unlikely be a target zone

You can see them stretchers made of metal from the second world War as fencing around the grounds of the council estates built in southwark in the late 1940s as there was a shortage of metal so used these stretchers as there were loads left over😮
That's where the saying comes from 'batten down the hatches'

That place will be absolutely riddled with asbestos. Those perforated booths you saw are made with asbestos board. You really should be wearing masks with respirators. The amount of mould and dust you guys breathe in is very worrying 😥
