This is a great Gents. I love getting more understanding of God's word. Thank you for your time and effort for us to listen and get understanding of scripture. In jesus mighty name Amen. Prasie be to God ❤
Do you think all throughout the Bible the second son being chosen is foreshadowing that the first time Jesus comes is not as special as the second time he comes
I know it doesn't say but I'm curious on what your take is on the question of how Cain and Abel knew to give up offerings especially because their mother and father never did it or was told to do it
They are still in an active relationship with God it seems so I would assume it’s learned. Also God gifted man so much in genesis it’s seems natural that they would do the same in return especially if they want to be back in favor with God. Idk that’s just my take.
@Jacksonoaks8 i was specifically talking about killing animals vs giving oarts of a harvest. I think Adam and Eve saw him kill an animal when he provide them with animal skins to replace their fig leaves. So they must think that this is the way. An animal has to be killed or blood has to be spilled to atone.
This exchange and transaction of “God, you owe me” reminds me of the prosperity churches 🤦🏻♀️ this explains false teachings in church and why some people fall off faith when things don’t go their way…
You’re absolutely right-treating God like a vending machine leads to disillusionment. True faith isn’t about what we can get but trusting Him in all circumstances. Prosperity teachings miss the heart of the gospel. God Bless.
I can’t help but feel the way Cain is is not because of himself but because of his parents, they probably raised him to believe he is great and is going to save humanity and he’s going to do these amazing things, so when you tell your child that from when he’s a kid to when he grows up, he’s gonna really think that he’s amazing, he’s gonna be arrogant. so I feel like it’s not all of Cain ‘s fault for the way he thinks. it’s because of Adam and Eve
That’s an interesting perspective! While parenting plays a role, Cain’s sin was ultimately a matter of his own heart. God warned him to master his anger and jealousy, but he chose otherwise (Genesis 4:6-7). Responsibility lies with the individual. God Bless.
@@thebibleshowpodcast agreed 👍 - us as parents need to take some responsibility in our role as parents but ultimately everyone is responsible for their own actions and reactions to situations and lot in life.
Re Cain ans able... I've also heard that Cain did not bring God the fruit of the ground. He brought the chaff. A lesser offering. Whereas Able brought the choicest unblemished lamb. (?)
I am a new Christian and I cannot tell you how much closer you guys have brought me to Christ 🙏 thank you ❤️🎉
That’s affirming to hear! Thanks for watching

I love these videos! Informational and conversational, my favorite way to learn. Do you guys plan on doing these discussions for the entire bible?
That's the plan and the hope!
Ask David how easy it was to be a shepherd. It’s what prepared him for Goliath.
As an older brother myself, the story of Cain scares the heck out of me..
Chapter 4?
