The fog of war is thick and the generals are blind to the deployment of their enemy. The Astra Militarum's sensors and scouts are all dead and they will not know how the Death Guard are positioned in the streets of this ruined hive city. The Death Guard want to capture a fallen Warlord Titan in the middle of the hive city and corrupt it for themselves unbeknownst to the Astra Militarum moving in on their position.

It's games like this. that remind me there's so many ways to play this game, and gets me even more excited to start playing. I wasn't able to finish my armies before I left for deployment, but I'll have plenty of time once I get back to finish them and get playing!
Amazing game and I loved the fog of war deployment. That could honestly be a really cool mechanic for tag team games where no one knows how their teammate deployed before turn 1 but they start playing on turn 3 exactly like reinforcements (each player gets 1k and their own army rules; shared CP and all that.)

Nick was onto something when he joked about going all on one side. If he fully committed to the leg side he would have a lot of focus fire and better sight lines

Usually I find this style of editing annoying for TV shows like Storage wars; where we can see what happens and then there's a micro interview.

As someone who is JUST looking into buying their first army after fawning over the lore for a couple of years, I find it extremely helpful. Learning how the game is actually played. the reasoning behind different attacks and tactics. Excellent series!

I barely managed to pull out a draw once and mortarion is a death sentence 💀.
Two perfectly played armies separated by dice rolls alone. It seemed one-sided but you really cannot ask for more than that. Great job to everyone at POTT!
I've done this for years, also cut the table into 16 squares a,b c,d 1-4, and made people pull slips of paper out of a hat and boom that's where their first unit goes. Makes game play crazy nasty. Call it infestation.

You guys are my absolute favorite 40k channel, and yes I know dice tell stories, etc etc. That being said, when only one army makes all their 5+ rolls, and the other doesn't....well its kinda boring to watch. Curb stomps are meh imo. Still love you tho!

Been playing 40K Darktide, this is pretty much the video game LOL
As a guard player that's painful to watch. Dorn is alright feel the oppressor cannon is the best weapon to use. But rather have 2 russes than 1 fully kitted out dorn (i know its not double the cost but you know what I mean).
A leman russ with the gatekeeper relic I think does better than a dorn with twin battlecannon. It's a bit bizarre it's not 2d6 plus 3, that would make it perhaps worth it.

I find it sadly enlightening, how turning your titan into terrain probably gives you more mileage out of it than using it as an actual titan.
