Guilliman and the Ultramarines trespass on the Garden of Nurgle to exact vengeance. This time though they are commanded by Kasra who has painted up a gorgeous force. He is in for a tough challenge as he faces Tycho, Mortarion, and the tough as nails Death Guard.
In this 1,750 point battle the brothers clash again in Primarch vs Primarch action. JT commentates and Tycho tries to obliterate. Will Kasra exact revenge for Tak or will the Death Guard continue their winning ways here on Play On. Army Lists below.

Every time Tycho talks about “playing Warhammer with his friends” I get a warm feeling, what a great dude.
As a player of plague Space Marines who had a legal obligation to hold nurdles tenants of love everybody hug everybody
And a really good player, which caught me off guard due to his really casual play style
What an amazing and entertaining match, with some really awesome players to watch with great commentary too JT! I really envy you guys, being able to play and be active in a hobby you all love, surrounded by people who are equally passionate about it. You get to play with your models, while also have a RUclips channel that, in my opinion, is the best Warhammer content on RUclips. I dream one day I can find a Warhammer group like what you guys have built to play with!
I hope you find it because we are incredibly blessed to have this hobby that connects us to so many people.

Great game game, but it didn’t seem close at all the deathguard ran away with it from the start. Mortareon just seems much more useful then Bobby G. Bobby G just seems like the weakest of all the primarchs in game. Love that you guys have great guest players though. Another solid video!
Bit rough too that the dice were not on Kasra's side this time. There were a number of rolls that could have kept him in the fight if they had worked out, especially the whole salvo on Morty after Null Zone. If it worked out, I think the return of his rerolls would have swung the game his way hard.
Did seem like a bit of a no contest scenario after T1 - no way to make back the damage/ ground, DG are too durable and make a lot of things useless
@@urOSSIM It's the no rerolls around Morty that is really the problem. UM are built around rerolls, and if you can shut those off their damage potential drops off precipitously.
Kas was great hope you have him on again at some point.

Hey guys, I majored in film production in college. There I was introduced to a book on special effects in movies. I got some tips on shooting miniatures like Star Trek space ships. I wanted to offer a few tips that might help you, if you don't know them already. There are two main tricks to use in my opinion:
1. Depth of field - I think you do this a bit already, but make sure that your depth of field is very shallow by lowering the F-stop you're shooting on. You are trying to create the natural effects of a standard camera shoot objects that are far apart. Minimizing the depth of field will make it seem like there is more distance between models.
2. Slow motion - This may be the most important trick. When shooting models, whether close up or from the sky, shoot in slow motion, 60 frames per second, but make your camera moves are twice the speed. This may seem redundant, but shooting something in slow motion adds a tremendous amount of weight to a subject. You might want to experiment with the speed of your camera's movement, just to see how realistic it comes out.
These are just some techniques I have used. I would encourage you to experiment. If they are of help to you, I'm glad. Otherwise, I love the content and have subscribed. Thanks!
Thanks. We actually do shoot thing in fairly low f stop for cinematics. However the depth of field is too shallow for the game itself. We do shoot in 60fps. But we also release on 60 so we don’t tend to use it for slow motion.

@@PlayOnTabletop Sorry, just wanted to add one more thing. By 60 fps, I just meant double your normal speed, so in your case 120. So, you shoot at twice the speed and move the camera at twice the speed. It adds weight to the subjects, the feeling of a larger object. It's like watching Godzilla in a film; he's always moving very slowly even though he's moving far due to his size. Thanks again for all your great content.
I hope JT has a gig doing commentary on sports or something. He's got the voice and enthusiasm for it.

Damn, it was good but I felt like it would have been better if the scores were closer. Always love to see Ultramarines on the table especially Guilliman not just a cool model but has cooler Lore than Morty in my opinion, which is saying something cause it's not like Morty doesn't have cool Lore.
The scores were very close until the middle of turn 4.

Ok probably should be asking this on a newer video but if anyone sees this how do I get into the game without bankrupting my self? I love watching these and my and my brother enjoy playing Star Wars armada but I can’t find I good starting set that we can play against each other that isn’t a hundred dollars.
God can we please get someone to Play Ultramarines in a battle report that doesn't set his castle up like a house of cards and make terrible charges. Every time I see one I facepalm so hard. Why would you position your eradicators where they could be consolidated into.

If only kasra had of commited to mortarion he would have been gone 3 turns early. But because morty had only a few wounds he never committed fully. Lesson to learn!
He definitely got greedy. Should have pumped everything into Morty until he was dead.
@@PIRATER0B0TNINJA yes! He did that 2 turns in a row to. Split fire with his dread to shoot a plague crawler for some reason, then did it next turn as well with guiliman. A few wounds on a drone or cannon isnt worth that hero model staying alive

New death guard player here. Just had a quick question: do the poxwalkers not get the 6+ feel no pain they get from the Unending Horde ability when they take damage? I apologize if this is a dumb question and/or has already been addressed.
I'm glad Mortarion wasn't this much of a beast in Chaosgate: Daemonhunters or my knights would've been toast. Also epic game and I enjoyed all the clutch plays.

Great vid! A slight annoyance however (or read as feedback), the commentary was a lot louder than the player's voices. Would've been nice if it was more even so I could hear the players better without the commentary sounding like he's shouting haha
