34:08 "Feel the wrath of my spurtings" has got to be one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard. 5 points for completing the "Damn That was Gross" objective.
What an amazing and entertaining match, with some really awesome players to watch with great commentary too JT! I really envy you guys, being able to play and be active in a hobby you all love, surrounded by people who are equally passionate about it. You get to play with your models, while also have a RUclips channel that, in my opinion, is the best Warhammer content on RUclips. I dream one day I can find a Warhammer group like what you guys have built to play with!
JT, i have no clue how endless the list of the nicknames is for Papa Smurf, but all of the ones used in this video are brilliant! keep up the good work guys
My reaction in turn 1: Man it sucks to see the faction you play(DG) have such an awkward start My reaction in turn 2/3: Stop it, stop it! They're already dead!
The quality of this BR is insane. The graphics, the fonts, the flow and speed of the battle keeps your interest perfectly. Incredible job guys! Really enjoyed this
Thank you so much for not using just city ruin terrain! I know that the beach table has been used in the past, but each time it's arranged in a new manner. Also, great battle report as always!
I clicked on this video. First thing I hear: "MY BROTHAAAAH IS--" I immediately pause the video, laugh for 10 seconds, and think to myself, "This is gonna be another great evening with Tycho." And then continued the watch.
Hey guys, I majored in film production in college. There I was introduced to a book on special effects in movies. I got some tips on shooting miniatures like Star Trek space ships. I wanted to offer a few tips that might help you, if you don't know them already. There are two main tricks to use in my opinion: 1. Depth of field - I think you do this a bit already, but make sure that your depth of field is very shallow by lowering the F-stop you're shooting on. You are trying to create the natural effects of a standard camera shoot objects that are far apart. Minimizing the depth of field will make it seem like there is more distance between models. 2. Slow motion - This may be the most important trick. When shooting models, whether close up or from the sky, shoot in slow motion, 60 frames per second, but make your camera moves are twice the speed. This may seem redundant, but shooting something in slow motion adds a tremendous amount of weight to a subject. You might want to experiment with the speed of your camera's movement, just to see how realistic it comes out. These are just some techniques I have used. I would encourage you to experiment. If they are of help to you, I'm glad. Otherwise, I love the content and have subscribed. Thanks!
Thanks. We actually do shoot thing in fairly low f stop for cinematics. However the depth of field is too shallow for the game itself. We do shoot in 60fps. But we also release on 60 so we don’t tend to use it for slow motion.
@@PlayOnTabletop Sorry, just wanted to add one more thing. By 60 fps, I just meant double your normal speed, so in your case 120. So, you shoot at twice the speed and move the camera at twice the speed. It adds weight to the subjects, the feeling of a larger object. It's like watching Godzilla in a film; he's always moving very slowly even though he's moving far due to his size. Thanks again for all your great content.
Absolutely loved this, great music and editing! Camera work and effects were on point! Also hats off to the two gents for battling it out, both know their stuff but also know so have some fun with it too! Brilliant! 👍🏼🤘🏼 Pupa Nurgle will be proud! : D
Excellent battle! Very cool. Tyco's army is so brilliant! And that battlefield is beautiful. That hard dice tray and sound of the dice hitting it are pretty harsh tho. 😕
I'm glad Mortarion wasn't this much of a beast in Chaosgate: Daemonhunters or my knights would've been toast. Also epic game and I enjoyed all the clutch plays.
Great game game, but it didn’t seem close at all the deathguard ran away with it from the start. Mortareon just seems much more useful then Bobby G. Bobby G just seems like the weakest of all the primarchs in game. Love that you guys have great guest players though. Another solid video!
Bit rough too that the dice were not on Kasra's side this time. There were a number of rolls that could have kept him in the fight if they had worked out, especially the whole salvo on Morty after Null Zone. If it worked out, I think the return of his rerolls would have swung the game his way hard.
@@urOSSIM It's the no rerolls around Morty that is really the problem. UM are built around rerolls, and if you can shut those off their damage potential drops off precipitously.
I might be mistaken, but I think he put Gmans save at his invuln in T3 against the Terminators... but Null zone was active and in play while the model was right next to him?
Every time Tycho talks about “playing Warhammer with his friends” I get a warm feeling, what a great dude.
As a player of plague Space Marines who had a legal obligation to hold nurdles tenants of love everybody hug everybody
And a really good player, which caught me off guard due to his really casual play style

Holy hell those Ultras are sooo well painted. Amazing work!
The primarch his awesome, the way he did the lighting coming from the sword his just beautifull
When you hear "Rumblefish Goldenballs" and that when you realise when JT has been referring to Roboute Guillaume the whole time 😂😂😂
Hey JW!
😂😂
Then there's rubber chicken gill breather lmaooo
I would love to see a match with Mortarion and Death Guard against some Grey Knights... Chaos Gate Deamonhunters style!

I hope you find it because we are incredibly blessed to have this hobby that connects us to so many people.
@@PlayOnTabletop yes
it's crazy the first video that showed me this channel was Death Guard vs Ultramarines, and now there's a rematch love it
JT, i have no clue how endless the list of the nicknames is for Papa Smurf, but all of the ones used in this video are brilliant! keep up the good work guys
Teehee! Thank you!
What were all the nicknames used here? I want to start a list.
Tonite on POT Gear: Kasra uses the Blue Man group, Tycho uses the fetid fungi fellas and Tak is one letter away from take.
Bro how do you do this every time
Heard this in Jeremy Clarkson voice
@@ethanfrields7050 As long as one person enjoys it. I'll keep doing it.

Dreadnaught and Guilliman failing to dent Mortarion in melee was like Raiden doing almost nothing punching Senator Armstrong
I can watch this primarch vs primarch 10 times over and I'll still enjoy it ! Can't wait
You know it’s because of you Tycho that I grabbed deathguard. You helped spread Nurgles blessing to Oklahoma.
Good show! Glad you have caught the bug for the best Chaos god of em all:)
I think the nurgle blessing has been in Oklahoma

Oh how I love seeing Death Guard wreck some eradicators. Great game, guys! Also - super sick board that got like NO mention at all
I don't know why, but it is always fun watching Tycho play his Death Guard. Good game fellows!
Love the Ultramarines. I know they are at the moment not the best but I think they are great in so many ways! Please more.

We need more episodes with Kas! That was awesome!
I can't wait to see the new Angron on the channel when you guys get him. Hopefully you bring on Dave for that one to really rep Khorn!
Lol JT, the amount of nicknames in this battle was top notch
"Tiggy into Miggy" is the best 40k sentence ever uttered out loud, you can't change my mind
You guys always bring some of the most beautiful battle tables!
Also "Rumblefish Goldenballs" had me dead
🤣🤣🤣
Both these dudes look like they are actually fun to play this game with
Just imagine this type of board game or even this one in the future...with holograms similar to Dejarik from Star Wars...simply perfect

Can't get enough of this content, and what beautifully painted armies, too!
The constant mispronucations of Rowboat Girlyman has me in stitches
Hell yeah, always here for more Tycho!
Kas was great hope you have him on again at some point.
Fantastic game and players. Hope to see Kasra again on the channel as he's got shrewd tactics but the dice (his and Tycho's) had final say.
From their tactics i already knew Chaos would win
Looking forward to the rematch!
Psst, Tak - don't forget there's a strategem for that thing.
man, I love those vibrant green bases
Kas is awesome! KAS - Much love my man!
Those are beautiful Ultramarines.
Tycho is so fun to watch ! Keep up the good work boys!
Dude we NEED a "Feel the wrath of my spurtings!" Play-on/nurgle shirt!
Tycho: "YES!"
Tak: "do we really?"
Awesome game! Respect to both players. Super well fought (and amazing paint jobs!)
The paint job on the models plus the lighting. Damn thise are some beautiful models
Amazing armies, Tempest of War, could this game get any better?! Well done!
Rubber Chicken Gill Breather 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Really good watching expirience as always, but I'd love to see a game of Conquest: Last Argument of Kings with Old Dominion!
We put out one Conquest episode a month. We will definitely have Old Dominion on in the future
Deathshroud have a 4+ invuln. Still a great battle report tho!
Rubberchicken Gillbreather....
gg, great paintjob on the Blueberries!
40k in 40 minutes is the best online format for me. Great work
I hope JT has a gig doing commentary on sports or something. He's got the voice and enthusiasm for it.
I have no idea what's going on darktide was the first Warhammer anything I have experience with but I already want to purge some heretics

Did seem like a bit of a no contest scenario after T1 - no way to make back the damage/ ground, DG are too durable and make a lot of things useless

Always good see Robutt Guiltyman on the tabletop.
