People need to understand that it’s okay to say “NO” without explanation. If someone is “pressuring” you into something that you absolutely don’t want to do you have the right to walk away even if it seems “rude.” She shouldn’t have given him her address.
Ayeitsme you’re absolutely right, she felt something was wrong yet she still gave the address, because we are conditioned to not seem rude so we do things that don’t feel right and can even get us in the way of real danger!
Ima SkinnyLegend I agree but if it was done in a public place like she planned she could have done something about it, maybe tell the workers or people around her or gone to the restroom and called the police because the man was harassing her
As soon as you mentioned that you had roommates, I was even more upset that you gave out your address. You should never do that anyway, but especially when you have other people living with you.
Elizabeth Gonzales she was a freelancer or smth , so its usual for her to give her address to people , and she probably kept responding because ignoring something wont make it go away
My first reaction too. From the first “modeling” line in the cafe. But I have some life experience. So I have to say it was brave of her to make the video. Other people - especially young ones - could easily make the same mistake.

I had a stalker - it was a man I had worked with... You'd never expect to be suspicious of a colleague! In casual conversation at work over a period of months I had mentioned what university I went to, what I was studying and that I was living in student accommodation nearby. He started "bumping into me" on a regular basis. Always him coming up to me, and making it seem casual "oh we've got to stop meeting like this" etc. After a while it was happening too much to be coincidence. At work he would take his lunch breaks when I had mine - all innocent enough. I happened to read an article in a magazine that said 1 in 5 women will have a stalker at some point in their lives. All of the signs were there for how he would behave, how he was "bumping into me" and making it seem like a coincidence. The article explained stalkers will usually learn/memorise their victim's routine. A light went off in my head. I started to try to give him the cold shoulder at work, and if I saw him out in public I would pretend I hadn't seem him. At work he would still go on my lunch breaks. One day it was super busy, he asked me when I was having lunch. I said about 2pm I think but I don't know, you should go without me. He didn't take the hint, instead waited beside my till while I served customers. He got annoyed when I wasn't ready at 2pm, and was nagging at me, eventually ended up shouting at me about how he had better things to do with his time, I wasn't that special, I was lucky he even offered to go with me - making a huge scene. Another male friend in work even asked me if I was ok after and offered to say something to him. The following continued, but now he would not come say hi, instead he would try not to be seen. One night I went out drinking, got a taxi home with my friends about 3am. The waited and watched to make sure I got in my front door and waved me off before driving off. I got in my room (ground floor flat at the front of the house) turned on the lights and closed my curtains. Rang my boyfriend to let him know I was home, and heard a tap on my window. Then again, louder - definitely a knock. I asked if my boyfriend could hear it through the phone and told him what was happening. The knocking carried on, getting louder and more frantic over the next 20 - 30 minutes, during which time my boyfriend and his friend had left their house and starting running around to mine. Terrified isn't a strong enough word to describe how I felt. By the time they got to me the knocking had stopped, but there was a note left on my window. It said " you're so gorgeous". even creepier it was written in green felt-tip pen. My boyfriend and his friend were so freaked out as was I. After this my boyfriend started to stay over with me much more, and that was the last I heard of it. I never told any of my housemates, anyone at work, or any police. I wish I had and I regret not dealing with it. I'm lucky it stopped when it did, because that was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. If anyone is still reading this, thank you. If you get bad vibes, deal with it earlier on. Don't make the mistake I did. The scariest part about that night for me is that my friends waited to make sure I was home safe. It was the middle of the night and I didn't see anyone around on the street. It's very unlikely he could have been at the bar and followed me home, because no cars came into the street after I got out of my taxi. This means he was already hiding somewhere waiting for me. He couldn't come out because my friends were watching. Lucky I locked my door and shut my curtains. I think he must have been planning to watch me through the window. I never ever told him where I lived - I have no idea how he knew, and worse I have no idea how many times he might have been watching me through my window - my laptop and desk were right in front of the window and I would usually come home from uni and do my work with my curtains open in the day time.

You can message via this thread or you can private message. Please don't worry if you don't want to, obviously! I just wanted to offer because I know when something horrid happens to me, I don't like to tell someone in person, and I find it easier to talk to my friends that don't live near me via email :) Anyway, hope you're okay! x x x

Wait wait wait.....it’s enough that she gave out her own address to a complete STRANGER who was giving off such creepy vibes, but she has someone else who lives there whose life she also could have jeopardized? Yikes.
Yeah, I would have a hard time trusting a roommate who just handed out my address to any psycho on the street because they were a "talent agent". Aspiring models and actors should do the research themselves and seek out their own agents, not just rely on being surreptitiously discovered.
@@DeadMermaidStudios Honestly it may have only been the fact that there was someone immediately in her life who could recognize him or even just that she was living with someone that nothing happened to her. This feels waayyy too close.
Sure, it's harrassment, but it's also stalking, my man. Repeated harrassment is legally defined as stalking in California (assuming that this is the state where it takes place). Stalking is way more than just some creeper looking through your window at night. Considering what the person said in the video, the whole scenario would definitely file under stalking, if not cyberstalking. Sure, it may have stopped now, but it's still very much a stalker story.
Tried to sell you a comp card... doesn't have a business card of his own... Don't trust any photographers who don't have a business card. I don't even do Photography professionally and I have a business card. They're not that expensive on Vistaprint. If a business person doesn't have a business card, don't trust them.
@6 ! well yeah, I'm not saying if they have a business card to automatically trust them. But if someone is claiming to be a professional and don't have a business card, then that should be a major red flag, and an automatic no. Especially when they're basically trying to sell you on getting your own made.
I can imagine in movie scenes when police are investigating a case and they question the victim's family: "Have you noticed anything has been going on with her?" The family number says "No, as far as I know nothing has been wrong. " Then the police are clueless and have to spend longer to investigate. It might as well be too late before they can figure things out. So, if you feel like something, anything is wrong in scenarios like this, make sure someone around you knows it...

For the people saying how all of these types of life story videos are the same girl, I think that people send in their stories and she reads them. The blacking out of her face might just be for dramatic effect.
Maybe because it’s a really personal topic she’s sharing. She wants to remain anonymous, so if she shares the name, people might be able to lead it back to her, and a lot of stuff could happen. Charges, lawsuits, etc.
it’s the same girl everytime that does these stories, i swear. it’s the weird money girl and cheating on a college test girl. no one has a life this wild
Rachel Han bruh ive been in worse situations like when a guy almost pulled a gun on me and i still was thinking straight. gimme a break, she wasnt even in life/death danger to not think straight.
I was stalked by a former S.O. and I went to the police immediately. I was granted a temporary ex parte order of protection the NEXT DAY and have since gone to court and also had a full year-long no-contact order put in place. It's not that difficult.
@@rosec.6113 This woman's situation was not concrete. She knew nothing about this guy (he could've texted her from a burner to cover his tracks). She had no relationship with him. Nothing he said was threatening. And worst of all, she gave him all her information: phone, email, address. It sounds like she was inviting this guy to contact her. She felt threatened when he was at her door but NEVER CALLED POLICE! Her actions don't seem to make sense.
It's the fact that she put others in danger and also gave him her address even after being worried. It doesn't make what he did ok in anyway but people need to use more common sense.
I had a stalker in University. He was more like the stalker that is categorized as the "guy who takes a crush way too far." After a few creepy things happened with this guy that made me very uncomfortable; examples being him insinuating that we were a couple within hours of meeting him, him sending me upwards of 50 messages in just the span of two hours all along the lines of asking for dates or to stay the night, him waiting outside my classroom for the full eight hour duration of the class on a day when he wasn't even suppose to be at the school that day (or in that building at all), and him randomly showing up at my apartment when I'd never told him where I lived; I finally told my roommate. My roommate took me to the police to report this guy but they wouldn't do anything. My Roommate then decided to try his best to protect me on his own by being a sort of body guard and escorting me to and from school (he worked online so it wasn't a problem for him to spare a few minutes to walk with me when I had class). Thankfully after a while of the escort and the school being a little helpful by issuing a "no contact" order (which is basically just a watered down restraining order, but it was the most they could do without the police helping too) the creepy guy got the message and left me alone and my roommate didn't have to fight anyone. If you're wondering; the reason I gave my number to the creepy guy in the first place was because at this school they always tell us that "networking is everything" and so I, and many other students, quickly formed a habit of exchanging numbers with my class mates and to people that seemed friendly around campus. Also, our campus is under controlled access so you have to have either a Student pass or Staff pass to scan in order to enter the buildings so I knew he was a student from the pass and because random people on the street can't get in. The Creepy guy when I first met him just seemed like an overly friendly person, and I'm like that too so it didn't concern me, and so I did the networking thing and we exchanged numbers, then later that day when we were both on break from our classes and went to the McDonalds on campus for lunch is when his started to get creepy and insinuated that we were a couple, and it got progressively worse from there.
ArcherFN it was different because she was doing serious business with the other people. she got bad vibes from this guy but still gave him her address. i would’ve never spoken to her again if i was her roommate.
TheElolicious because people make mistakes. She didn’t know he was gonna stalk her, and as she said it herself, so many people had her address already since she was working as a free lancer. I would be definitely pretty mad, but as long as she’s sorry I’d just try to support my friend nonetheless... this is some pretty heavy sh!t, blaming her wouldn’t change a thing, she must feel bad enough already
“ I need to know where you live.” I live in a house “Which House” The house “Well next to what” My Nabor “AHHHDGG I’LL FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO STALK!” That’s how you get rid of a stalker
the original person probably scripted it and they had someone else tell it. Otherwise, to make it anonymous, they would’ve had to put some sort of filter to her voice.
Cops wouldn't have done anything, especially at the beginning. They didn't even do anything after she went to them with weeks of proof of evidence of harassment.
Apparently you didn't even watch the video because she did go to the police but if you knew how the law works the police won't help until a crime as been committed. They aren't in the business of preventing crimes.
This is why you do not give someone your personal information. If someone comes up to you about working for their business and they don't have a business card that is a red flag. If it were a legitimate business they would have some professionalism and offer a business card or a website where you can learn more information. Everything that is told not to do she does. I was face palming myself throughout the video she didn't think about her actions and instead put her roommates in danger.
Do NOT be embarrassed about being rude. Do not give out any personal info to anyone you don't know or get any warning signs about. Always tell someone if something bad is happening. Keep yourself safe.
My friends ex had to invoice people too & didn't understand why his girlfriend used a different name and address online; I was there for her as support when she explained her own stalker story. Stalkers are uncomfortably common.
Well, it would probably depend. Him using the woman's name to email people probably wouldn't be enough to get him in serious trouble with the police. Also, they clearly don't know the guys real name or address even a photo of him and can only give a description of him. The police would probably dismiss it offhand because they'd have no way of tracking him down.
That’s exactly how you say it A+ English for real. Anyway, police are pretty useless until something really bad happens and there’s a mountain of evidence
When you asked "Was it my fault?" I thought that it was a very hard question to answer. On one hand, I'm still so baffled that you gave a complete stranger all of your contact info, especially your address, when there were many red flags that this whole thing was a scam. On the other hand, 'John' shouldn't have harassed you, and no person should do that either. Giving out your address willy nilly as you said seems extremely naive, especially when you live with other people who would definitely be affected by that decision.
THIS! I saw a guy following behind 2 high school aged girls in public in daylight w/ a video camera. I followed behind them to make sure he wasn't gonna do anything and he broke off just before they entered the subway. But when I reported to the cops who were just down the block and POINTED OUT THE GUY, they said they couldn't do anything!
I had a guy come to my job an sit in the lobby watching me at work for like 2weeks I worked the 12-6 am shift an I told him to leave multiple time so I called the cops on him an they said it was up to the store to ban him befor he was commiting a crime even tho I had already kicked him out befor the hole thing was ridiculous
I feel like the police act as if its your fault or like you should just handle it yourself even when you've done what you can an need help getting someone to leave you alone
So this girl who clearly knows this is a shady deal, and even does research on it knowing it was a scam STILL gave her address cause she gives it away like nothing?! BRUH
Jesus, you gave a total stranger, who is giving off waves and waves of creepy red light triggering warning signs, your real phone number and address. You have a few things you need to re-evaluate in your life.
Yes I gave him my address, phone number, and email address. So of course it’s my stalker’s fault that I put my friends, roommates and family in danger. Clearly I’m in the right. I didn’t do anything wrong? I am glad she is safe overall and nothing really bad happened but you do need to take responsibility of your actions and look at all the red flags the waving right in front of you

There was someone leaving these little magnets on the trunk of my car a couple of months ago and I was getting these weird voicemails with no one talking except for one that sounded really creepy and breathy. These two things probably had nothing to do with each other, but I learned this and to anybody out there with a 10-year-old or older car, be warned: an old-school trick for breaking into cars is using a magnet to get the latch to lift on either side of the back of the car. Some cars, like mine, have a lever in the trunk that can be pulled so that you can get into the body of the car, so always remember to check your backseat before unlocking your car, use the flashlight on your phone if you have to. I'm lucky in that I was able to switch to using my dad's car for two months and since I haven't seen one of these magnets, but they can be disguised to look like dents in your car, so please please please be careful and always check your back seat before unlocking your car.
The exact same thing happened with me but with acting, I got an email from a company asking me if they could manage me but the basically just wanted to scam me.... Watch your back because nobody else will

@Ima SkinnyLegend exactly, thank you
Ima SkinnyLegend I agree but if it was done in a public place like she planned she could have done something about it, maybe tell the workers or people around her or gone to the restroom and called the police because the man was harassing her

This genuinly makes me feel really sick. I feel really sad for you, that must've been absolutly BLOODY terrifying. He should be compleatly ashamed and embarresed of himself, it's so creepy!!. Really glad it's over and you never have to relive that. I know I'm just a stranger, but I just want you to know if you ever want someone to talk to I'm always here. You can message via this thread or you can private message. Please don't worry if you don't want to, obviously! I just wanted to offer because I know when something horrid happens to me, I don't like to tell someone in person, and I find it easier to talk to my friends that don't live near me via email :)
Anyway, hope you're okay! x x x

@6 ! well yeah, I'm not saying if they have a business card to automatically trust them.

Why do people protect the identities of people who commit crimes? 🤔
They can press charges since the person who is making the video never asked for permission to share their identity
Because it's natural..... of being hide after committing crimes
Maybe she uses the real names but says there fake... reverse psychology
Maybe because it’s a really personal topic she’s sharing. She wants to remain anonymous, so if she shares the name, people might be able to lead it back to her, and a lot of stuff could happen. Charges, lawsuits, etc.

The victim blaming in the comments here is really depressing. It’s easy to say what you would have done differently when you aren’t in the situation.
Nothing negates what he did. What he did was 100% his fault I just hope he gets caught.
It's the fact that she put others in danger and also gave him her address even after being worried. It doesn't make what he did ok in anyway but people need to use more common sense.
Virginia Sweiger come on...giving a complete stranger your address tho? Especially when your sketchy meter is supposedly off the charts...?
I had a stalker in University. He was more like the stalker that is categorized as the "guy who takes a crush way too far."
After a few creepy things happened with this guy that made me very uncomfortable; examples being him insinuating that we were a couple within hours of meeting him, him sending me upwards of 50 messages in just the span of two hours all along the lines of asking for dates or to stay the night, him waiting outside my classroom for the full eight hour duration of the class on a day when he wasn't even suppose to be at the school that day (or in that building at all), and him randomly showing up at my apartment when I'd never told him where I lived; I finally told my roommate.

Calibirate YES!
Jacks AKG M220 Pro headphones he had her address, could easily still contact her
Ffs he would come to her house, she gave him her address, so you can imagine what would happen

You are very good at english
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'm not sure, maybe. And your English is very good
Well, it would probably depend.
This was definitely some sort of human trafficking situation
When you asked "Was it my fault?" I thought that it was a very hard question to answer. On one hand, I'm still so baffled that you gave a complete stranger all of your contact info, especially your address, when there were many red flags that this whole thing was a scam. On the other hand, 'John' shouldn't have harassed you, and no person should do that either. Giving out your address willy nilly as you said seems extremely naive, especially when you live with other people who would definitely be affected by that decision.
The cops don't do anything about stalking you leteraly have to be attacked for the cops to help
In my experience even if you are attacked the cops don’t help

Who else scrolled down the comments hoping someone knew this person
ItsBreezy05 I think its Michelle Khare
@@missm2925 It's not her voice.
Why would you do that? She doesn’t want anyone to know who she is. Be respectful.
InfiredSnakeu i think SOMEOME ELSE voiced over her, so the voice in the video was not her actual voice
Chelsea Ozanic it's not that deep, chill. It's not even her own story
Sounds like a human trafficking trap imo
*“Isn’t this how people get “discovered?”” NOOO NOT AT ALL!!! 😂💀😭☠️*
The exact same thing happened with me but with acting, I got an email from a company asking me if they could manage me but the basically just wanted to scam me....
Watch your back because nobody else will
Thank you for sharing this. I am an aspiring actress who plans to move to NYC and will probably do it alone, and I can be too trusting of strangers and afraid to say no under pressure. I realize that this could be me if I'm not careful.
Why was "regina" blurred throughout the whole video but unblurred for like 8 seconds??
Because it was representing the "real Regina" that she video-chatted with. The blur shows she didn't know them, so removing it showed that she had finally met someone honest.
I like how she said "Believe it or not, I was scared to walk alone at night"
Why aren't you scared to do that without a stalker???? 😅
“I gave him my address”.
Me: FFS!
