I love your content, bro. I’m pretty sure the Avata will always be my favorite quad for flying in sketchy places where my other quads might failsafe! Great video!!! 🔥🔥🔥
@@FPV-TV419 the avata is kind of tough to fly in the wind but on calm days it’s butter! As long as I’m in manual mode I don’t have too many problems with it in the wind though. I literally can’t even fly it in normal or sport mode anymore. I get the sticks all goofed up lmao lol
Mate what were you talking about when you said horizon lock mode... I thought you just had normal, sports and manual.. unless your talking about leaving the blue button checked in the box.. anyways. I want to try horizon lock.. lol thx mate MIKEY
It's in the camera settings mate. You can either select rock steady or horizon steady. With horizon steady selected the camera acts just like on a mini 3 for example....but unlike the mini 3 the avata can fly manual.. so you can get acro flying but with mini 3 style stabilisation. Some will argue that it defeats the point of fpv, but I like it! It's a style of fpv footage that people aren't used to seeing
Have you tried horizon lock in gyroflow? I prefer that to the DJI one personally just because I have the option to dick around with it in post rather than be committed with the recorded onboard vid. Great video, man. And hey! What’s up Mikey! Ray
@@SkeezyFPV what's up bud lol lol. I've just have been stoned.. lol. I totally forgot about horizon mode on this bird.. it's just that that's a camera drone thing.. I don't think of that when flying the Avata.. I just want to rip it and ride it LIKE THE WIND.. YAHOOOOOOOOOOO.. MIKEY
Thanks mate! 😊. Yea I couldn't quite showcase horizon steady as I had intended as the wind was so bad! But I think the avata has some tricks up its sleeve that we can make good use of!

Thanks mate! 😊. Yea it absolutely has its place! Shame it was so windy, but given the wind it did still fly great considering its a cinewhoop

Absolutely brilliant mate! I'll have to try horizon lock! The Avata is such a cinematic tool isn't it! Love the edit and the flying is 👌🏼.
