After watching this, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him fit the Mall of America and a regional airport inside his box truck rig. Ray is already a legend, and he’s just getting started. Incredible.
It's fun to contrast with my lazy approach. If I had a box truck it'd become a cardboard palace inside. I love cardboard no-builds, you can change it up whenever you want. It responds well to moisture, doesn't condense on it when very cold like many modern surfaces. I like to sleep cold and hang out warm, many surfaces condense the breath and can ruin all sorts of stuff over time. But not good old cardboard, a hobo's best friend :)
@@HoboGardenerBen Have you seen the paper mache camper “build” that Minivan Camper Gal has made in her new SUV? It’s built on a cardboard frame, then paper macheed for stability.
Man-- not only has he provided the essentials, but even has aesthetic niceties like the peaceful looking plants at the window. He's made the MOST of the space. Smart guy! 🏆

Yes, that could be a wonderful way to make some pretty passive income (though would need branding and a marketing plan so does take work and/or hiring soneone to help).
Exactly....my sentiment exactly. Clear and clean and so efficiently setup. No ^Excess Stuff^. Very good role model....to say the least... for those who are MiniVan campers and dwellers. 👍🏾🚐.
Yeah I've seen a million of these van builds and this one might take the cake. There should be an award ceremony for van builds this guy wins the oscar for best picture.
Ray Rambles had 26 subscribers when I just went to his channel to subscribe myself. And it feels like that number is about to rocket launch into outer space because now we all want to see what else this clever, engaging genius does for fun!
At first, I thought we were viewing a TARDIS (bigger on the inside!😄) Amazing - what a creative build. I always wonder, Bob, how does it feel to see these great builds and know that your channel provided the inspiration?
Ray, this is the most thoughtful set up I have ever seen! You have everything you need without having to move a bunch of stuff to get at everything. Everything is wonderfully organized and aesthetically pleasing. I wish you success with this and can't wait to see what your box truck setup will be like ! Don't forget to share his next wonderful home on wheels with us BOB !!! As usual, great video ! :)
Yes indeed what an awesome ... great setup in a Minivan. It's incredible... very practical and a space saving build. I had to watch it twice... simultaneously....that's how great this is. Thank you Bob for sharing and I look forward to seeing his next Van/Box Truck setup. Based on this startup.... it's going to be totally Awesome! 👍🏾. Safe and Happy Travels! 🚐🗺️🛣️! *
this is the most cleverly built van I’ve ever seen. He should work for RV design company. It’s amazing how many things he thought of and such a small space! Great job!
Wow! This IS very impressive!! Amazing how much he has in such a small space and it doesn't look cluttered. Can't wait to see what he does with his next build. Thanks for sharing!

Ray is so smart. I just love your van. The spice rack is so impressive and the way that the kitchen slides back too. I also never thought of having the everything plugged into the Bluetti all the time and using the app to run it, brilliant. Thank you so much Bob & Ray!!
Very nice. I like everything has its perfect spot. The folding table, love how it is designed to tuck away. Two Bodegas, one for refrigerator, and another for freezer. Amazing build.
Can't wait to see what this fine genius gentleman does with a box truck since a box truck is also what I want to use. But this minivan is mind-blowing, probably too small for my taste but still...
Wow! Super impressed, imagine what this man could do with his box truck!?! This is absolutely the best van set up ive ever seen, especially for a very tall man. Im a 6 ft woman so i understand completely. Can't wait to see his next build. Safe and fun travels!
An absolute MARVEL of use of space in an aesthetic package. The spice n oil rack shallow removable door is just so smart. I would have liked to see how the sink unit is mounted to move forward in case of passenger. Everything is brilliant, really ingenious. Thanks so much.
For those who may be interested in this factoid. I have a 2017 Ram Promaster 1500 Cargo Van (High Top). For insulation, I attached a one-inch styrofoam to the ceiling (between the ribs) with a quarter-inch sheet of plywood over that. On the floor, I also put one inch of styrofoam, then a half-inch of plywood, and finally floor tiles which is about 1/8 inch. I'm 6.2 inches and when I stand up straight with my sneakers on I can still fit the palm of my hand between my head and the ceiling.
Ray has an eye for beauty too, everything looked really great with the blue cushions and the wood. The way he labeled everything is one of the smartest things! I started doing that with things, and wow, because I don't always remember! It only takes a few seconds but can save so much time later!
This is the best minivan conversion I have seen yet…and I have seen a lot of them here on RUclips. This gentleman could make a career on these modifications!
Ray & Bob: THANK YOU for this video! As someone still planning, this is so demystifying and exciting! Will save me thousands of hours & dollars. I have 2019 Chevy Equinox and was giving up on having everything I wanted to try to start planning to go off-grid. This helps SO MUCH. I took an RV Technical Institute Level 1 class - I don’t even need further education due to this video. I cannot wait to follow Ray & get into learning what I need. I had not looked into a box truck for future rig planning - I wanted to plan for lifelong adaptability of common, affordable vehicles for myself. Wow - outstanding. Truly, thank you both & hope to meet you both someday soon.
After all these years of videos-this might be the BEST one. This fellow is an articulate genius. Very impressive…
Agreed! This build is so organized and functional.
I really would of like to see the sleeping position, but definitely a great build,He's Smart 🎉❤🎉.
The bed is someone’s design. It’s on RUclips. So much is just a copy of another. It is a great layout thanks to the first designer 😅
We all get our excellent ideas, from someone else. That's what we call "a community"!!!
Spot on
Bob, I sure hope you get to interview Ray again when he gets his box truck. If he did all this in a minivan, just imagine a box truck build...
After watching this, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him fit the Mall of America and a regional airport inside his box truck rig. Ray is already a legend, and he’s just getting started. Incredible.
I second that.
His box truck build will have a helicopter pad on the top.

Give this man a Pro master, or Transit, and he will make a 5 Star Hotel room with a little pool , why not :)
You're right! He's so modest about what he did, too.
He could make a career of Engineering/Desiging vans and tiny homes oh my. He's quite smart and articulate in his thinking, love it!
